Target is one of my favorite store. I usually do curbside and pick up my order, today I decided to shop in store. The store was very clean, well stocked and organized. They had some products locked in cases which was aggravating because we had search high and low for an employee to retrieve the items we needed. Only one employee had the key we were told. Also the checkout was horrible. You can only do self checkout and there one only one cashier available. They only had one line for both. I believed that slowed up the process. Otherwise I would still shop at target, but I think I would continue to do curbside. read more

Used to be my favorite store, but this location itself was a MISTAKE. As an "express Target" you'd think getting a few necessities and getting out would be easy. NO. There are NEVER any cashiers working (or anyone working, for that matter) so the only option is self-checkout, which wouldn't be that big of an issue if they were all functioning properly, but there's only ever 2 of them working at a time so the line's always awful. Then *every single thing* is behind glass (I understand for certain medications/tech, but deodorant? Shaving cream?), with "call help" buttons/sensors that don't work (probably on purpose judging by the common theme and attitudes). And if you're *sooo worried* about shoplifting, then why the hell does this Target only carry the most expensive stock??? I can't even get a basic floor lamp here for under $80, and I have to go all the way up to the metroplex or the 24hr Target in Bala Cynwood for a basic $10 one. Oh, and most stuff they won't even put out and you can't get it unless you order online. And no, not even the expensive things like I just mentioned, but the most BASIC things like snacks. I'm never stepping foot in here again and honestly you likely won't catch me dead in a Target AT ALL now. read more

Best staff, clean store, never any issues with pick up orders. They fill them fast no matter how small where other stores will just cancel an order if it's not big. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We are lucky to have this target in rox! read more

When I used to live in Manayunk this storefront was a Superfresh; I'd come weekly for my groceries. When a friend of mine asked to meet at Target early on a Saturday morning, I couldn't believe that my map took me to this location. What a trip! For how small this location is, it had everything I needed. I was able to return some items, grab a coffee at the Starbucks, and peruse the beauty aisle for new nail polish colors I don't already have. What a nice thing to have in the neighborhood! read more

The store is located in a great place with lots of parking space. There does seem to be a lot of boxes and such with the employees stocking the Aisles when you go in, But you do get what you expect at most targets. Employees are semi friendly and helpful. Prices for food are a little bit more expensive than typical grocery stores. But store is clean and for the most part easily navigated. read more

I come to this location all the time for multiple reasons. It's closer to where I live and it's rarely crowded which is a plus. The staff is awesome and so pleasant that I feel they all are doing a great job helping guests; I just learned we are not customers. Different spin on customer service right! Today I came for a few items specifically a universal remote since if football season I came I walked in an as a lady passed with the red vest. I asked her about universal remotes since mines doesn't work. I said something else and there was a silence. I asked her, have you had your coffee. She shared she left it on her counter at home. I did ask what type of coffee she likes and she told me . Needless to say, I made a mental note. She took me to the remotes and did a price check Target online to get me the best price I needed batteries and she found them to then checked if it was on sale. I've never ever had this level of service. As we were wrapping up and walking I asked if I could buy her a cup of coffee. Honestly I wanted do it without telling her but thought I will ask her. Anyhoo she said no a few times but I insisted. She is an excellent person for serving the public. Btw her name is Victoria bka Tori. If you want a clean, quiet and stocked Target with professional, friendly staff who don't mind going above and beyond for the guests (l learned that from Tori ) Also the folks in Starbucks are awesome too. We only came to this target to get a Halloween item that other stores didn't have. I found it but the box was opened. I debated on if I should get it or not, but I did. Got up to the self check out but the price was coming up higher than the price it was online. We called a lady over to help us and she gave us an attitude. She said sometimes online prices are different than in store and if we want to price check we should go up to the front. She did eventually scan it for us at the online price but was miserable about it. Hope we don't ever have to go to this target again. read more

This is the worse target store I've ever been to. Ring the bell for an employee to open the glass case but no one usually comes. You can hear them being notified from they're handheld but they ignore you anyway. Very ignorant people working. They just want people to get tired of waiting & leave. This is for the excellent service that I received from the Barista in the Target's Starbucks today. The young lady was by herself and doing a great job of managing the customers and making the drinks with NO HELP AT ALL. Every time I come into this establishment she is by herself and working that station by herself and I just wanted to send a message to the managers of this establishment. Working in customer service for over 25yrs I know how to recognized great employees and this young lady is a awesome example of that. She deserves to be commended for her work everyday. Here's another one of those 'Target Express' locations - even though Target no longer calls the smaller, urban stores an 'Express'. This location is actually much bigger than the Center City Philly Target (Express) locations; in fact, it's gotta be over double the size of those, but merely only a quarter or a third of the size of typical full-sized Target stores. In fact, I wasn't sure that this was an Express-type location, but it did become obvious as I made my way through the store (less breadth of items, and slightly higher prices than full size Targets). But it's a great addition to the Roxborough/Andorra/Manayunk/Chestnut Hill sections of Philly; the closest Targets nearby are either City Ave or Plymouth Meeting. This is the most modern, clean Target locations I've ever seen (as of this writing in April 2017). It's got all the essentials, and then some. You won't find CDs, movies, bikes, or toy sections here. It's got a full-size Starbucks cafe inside. And it's in the Ivy Ridge shopping center, against a breathtaking backdrop of the huge Philadelphia broadcast towers. This is a great Target location, no doubt; but I reserve my 5-stars for full-size Targets with more normalized prices. read more

This location is terrible. It's always a mess. I often do the pick up order and I swear it's always a production. I thought the pick up options were supposed get me out of the door quicker. Plus the staff is always new when I go in. There's literally only one friendly older woman with black hair in the whole store. I wish I knew her name. She's the only one I like helping me anymore. read more

This place is BEAUTIFUL! On the inside at least. So nice and well-kept. Very clean, too. Didn't see one item misplaced... surprising for Target. The staff was also friendly and helpful and so were some people I met along my little 15 minute stop here! :) Definitely recommend for a quick or even a long trip to Target, it was easy to navigate and so clean. I love have a Target in the neighborhood. So much more convenient than having to head our further into the suburbs. Has a decent selection of items, though definitely somewhat limited compared to the bigger Targets. You'll probably find what you're looking for, but don't always expect a ton of options. Mostly operates with self-checkout. Given the other grocery options in the area, I wish they'd take out the grocery section and have more space for other items. Overall, a definite plus for the neighborhood in terms of convenience. read more

I love all things Target and for me to write a review this bad took a lot of thought. I was able to overlook the lack of pricing on most products - like the UP&UP paper towels... The lack of product due to the fact that I was there 2 days after Christmas. Ok, sure. I was able to overlook the fact that they lost my sweatshirt - until they handled it so poorly. The whole situation was a pain. I just wrote a book about my experience and deleted it because of the ridiculousness of it. Probably won't be back. This target is referred to as Target Express. The inventory is very limited and the prices are a lot higher than the bigger stores. They will however match their online prices it's just that it's a drag having to go through this extra step when you check out. I found that the products that were marked the highest that I buy are the lunch meats , Cheese's, and sodas. I only uses store if it's an emergency. read more

Most employees here will help you but not Jennifer. She was miserable and when I asked to exchange unopened diapers that were a gift for a larger size she said I couldn't. She gave me the lowest possible price for the return of the diapers and made me buy the larger ones. Problem is that although both were the same price in store and online I had to pay more for the larger diapers bc of her ineptitude. I get why Target may have that policy for the people looking to get over and return items when their price increases but I just wanted diapers that fit my 2 month old properly. I should not have had to pay extra money for those diapers and rather than be understanding and helping, Jennifer screwed us over. I recently moved to this area. All staff members have been nice and helpful. I have been here at least 8 times and during the holidays, and the quality of costumer service remains. Its on a smaller scale, in terms of store size, but its also rarely crowded. read more

The associates in this store are very friendly and helpful. The prices on some items are higher than the Metroplex store. They will price match but you have to show the price. It is very convenient to have a store like it so close. read more

So glad to have a Target in my neighborhood now! It is smaller than the one on Chemical Rd., but still well-stocked and rarely crowded, even on a weekend. I hope, in the context of not being crowded, that it lasts as we really need this in Roxborough. As with all Targets, if you find a clothing item you like in your size, just get is as clothes sell out fast and are not re-ordered.
