The Roseville location made an error when ordering frames for my child. He is 13 and he had chosen…read morea black frame. The one that arrived were red and made any acne even more noticeable. They acknowledged their error and of course agreed to correct it. That was until the store manager, Alvin heard about it. He called me at work and tried to convince me to take the incorrect glasses. When I refused he became very disrespectful, condescending and rude. He told me that I would have to wait indefinitely for the frames my child wanted because they weren't in stock anyway. I tried ask why we had to wait indefinitely and Alvin yelled at me. He said that he has already told me enough times and that he had waisted enough time on me. I said, "well maybe I'm just stupid.." Alvin interrupted me to say," I think you found the right word". I went to Pearl vision Roseville after work to try to talk to a different employee. Alvin insisted on talking to me, even though I was already speaking to a different employee and I told him I was not comfortable talking to him. I ended up asking for a copy of my prescription and I left. Alvin did tell me that I would have to wait 30 days before I could go to another store. More than 30 days later, I went to Pearl vision West St Paul. That is where I learned that my insurance had been billed for glasses for my child, and that he would not be eligible for another pair for 2 years. They assured me that they could find a way around it, and ordered the black frames that my child wanted. The next day they called and left a voicemail saying they tried but they were not able to order glasses for my child. I then called Pearl vision Roseville to try to speak with Dr Meyer as he is owner of the store. I wanted to give him the opportunity do the right thing. But Alvin answered and told me that I couldn't talk to him, then he hung up on me. I called back and spoke to a very friendly employee. I asked that person to ask Dr Meyer to call me at his convenience when he was back in the office the following Monday. I didn't receive a phone call from DR Meyer. I stopped in Pearl vision Roseville to see if I could speak with Dr Meyer. I hoped to straighten it out without going to the state and filing a fraud investigation. I approached an employee who was not helping anyone. Unfortunately Alvin was there. He was with a customer, but he stood up, came across the room and started yelling at me. He said that I must leave immediately and threatened to call the police. Fortunately my child recorded that whole interaction. I wish I had made contact with Dr Meyer. He seems to be a good guy. My 2 sons and I have been customers of his for years. I believe he would have resolved the problem simply by getting my kid the glasses he had been charged for. A very simple solution. And I would have been happy. But Alvin prevented that. And now I am stuck with no glasses for my child, even though my insurance has been changed for it. So I have no choice but to file a fraud investigation. Since my child has state insurance, the fraud is against the state. Alvin is rude, condescending and disrespectful. I am not sure what the motivation is behind this. Is it because we have state insurance and he won't make any extra on up charges? Is it because I challenged him as a woman? I really have no idea but I am very uncomfortable and fearful that he has access to my information.

Called them and was told that we are permanently banned from Pearle since we have had too many no shows and they have left countless messages for us. My husband has medical issues and yes, we have had to cancel appointments and by cancel, I mean that we cancelled before the appointment and were never a "no-show" Furthermore, we have never received any phone calls or voicemails from this establishment concerning our appointments. When we called a second time to discuss the situation, the person answered the phone and said "f*** off and hung up. Is this how we do business now. We will never darken the doorstep of this craphole again. And to top it off, we were giving them a SECOND CHANCE after they grossly overcharged us back in 2015.

Their integration with Eye Med actually was helpful; I had never been in before but they were able to pull up my information easily. My exam with Dr. Boothroyd was excellent; she is extremely knowledgeable and really good at explaining the complicated things she was observing with my particular ocular physiology. Buying my new frames and lenses went fine, although prices are maybe a little higher than I was expecting. That might be just an inflation thing since my last such purchase, though. The showroom has an impressive selection, but I was disappointed that they don't have any of the kinds of frames with magnetic sunglass attachments. There was also some fuss when choosing my frames when the sales person was confused about which types of lenses go with which brand of frames. That seems like more of a problem with their system than with the sales person, who was otherwise helpful enough (she actually picked out the frames I wound up buying). In the future I could see myself buying my actual glasses somewhere else, but I liked the exam enough to stick with it indefinitely.

I had a relative at St. Paul Eye in Roseville today for eye exam for eyeglasses. He saw Dr. Tsai…read more(who I referred). Dr. Tsai was exceptionally wonderful...he was kind, caring, compassionate, explained things clearly and just awesome!!! I am also a patient of Dr. Tsai's and will be seeing him in November. We picked up the patient's prescription for eyeglasses at the Optical Desk of the St. Paul Eye Clinic in Roseville. There was a lady and gentleman working behind the counter in the optical area. When I said the patient is on MA, they both looked at each other in disgust and the lady rudely said, "Oh we don't take MA here. You need to go to Pearle Vision, this is where you need to go." We felt very intimidated by the looks she gave along with her voice tone and attitude. There is ALWAYS a nice way to say anything without the high and almighty attitude. Trust me, I sure will NOT purchase eyeglasses at St. Paul Eye Optical in Roseville after this treatment. We then went to Pearle Vision in Roseville and was treated as if we were royalty. We were welcomed with open arms, treated with total courtesy, kindness, compassion, great assistance in selecting a nice pair of eyeglasses and were thanked for picking Pearle Vision. This treatment was totally opposite from the treatment at St. Paul Optical in Roseville.

The folks at the front counter were pleasant and easy to work with. I was impressed with my visit and book another appointment for next year. I also booked appointments for both my kids. They support pronouns in their systems and preferred names. The staff seemed very inclusive to all. I'll be recommending this clinic to other friends and family. I wasn't very impressed with Julie their Contacts Specialist. She might have been having a bad day or something. Not very friendly. Again I will be returning. Overall a very positive experience.

After stopping at the store to buy glasses, and hadn't received them after more than 10 days, I reached out to customer service. The third CS person in the session told me (after asking me to repeat and verify all my customer details shared with the first two agents), that the last order was the one I made in 2022 (same information I got logging into the portal). After I suggested the store mgr call me during their business hours, they said they'd have the mgr call me. Still waiting for a call....

Been trying to work with Davis Visio and Warby Parker for several weeks now to get insurance…read morebenefits. When we (wife and I) went to the store, sales reps told us that they couldn't directly facilitate insurance benefits but all we had to do was contact Davis Vision and we would receive the benefits. That went nowhere so contacted Warby Parker directly. First (didn't have the date & dollar amounts available at that phone call) was told we could retroactively apply for insurance benefits but today was just told that because we received a 15% discount for buying two pairs ($1071.00 total after "discount") we could not get insurance benefits. He suggested buying 2 more pairs without a discount and we'd be able to apply insurance benefits. I questioned that that doesn't make sense, we are not trying to get $$ from Warby Parker but that they need to submit insurance paperwork for us to get the insurance $$. Bottom line, were not given correct info at retail location and then given the run-around by Davis Visio and Warby Parker :(
