After researching some items I needed to purchase, I visited a store that was nice and clean, located in an area with a few restaurants and places to relax. Although the store had the items I was looking for, I ultimately decided not to make any purchases due to the customer service I experienced from a couple of the workers. I want to clarify that I have nothing against people speaking languages other than English; in fact, I speak a couple of languages myself. While I don't speak Spanish fluently, I do understand a little of it. However, when customers shop at a national retail chain like Target, employees need to provide customer service to everyone, regardless of the language they speak. It was disappointing to see some workers walk past customers and ignore those who didn't speak Spanish. If you are not willing to assist customers who don't share your native language, then working at Target or any national retail store may not be the best fit for you. read more

My son wanted some Takis. The blue ones specifically and we were staying at one of the hotels near by. There were plenty of parking between the Target and Pets Mart. We went in and found what we were looking for fairly quickly. Although we did try to find where the boy slides/sandals were, unsuccessfully. Checkout could have been better. read more

The cashier called Gloria scream at me across of all the other guests for no reason and told me that I had two minutes to check out, I checked my time and I still had 10 minutes to pick out anything that I still was looking for and she was rushing me to check out now because she wanted to go home and she said she was tired. I also come from the restaurant industry, which is 10 times more tiring than this and for her to work six hours and to complain about her being tired is truly unacceptable. Nice target located inside the shopping mall Dadeland Station. Handy when you are done being a mall rat at Dadeland Mall. Come here when I need stuff for projects or toys. Came here now to get the usual yearly valentine day card collecting box for the kids. Every time I come here though I buy unnecessary things in my life. Backyard decorations? Sure... small bookbag that looks like a shark definitely need that. You get the picture. The target is nice and organized. Well staffed too. I actually had a question and there was someone around to answer it. A plus here. There were also a lot of registers open as well as all the self checkout consoles to make your life easy. Attention Target shoppers. If you buy meat at Target, beware of the following. I was behind a shopper that decided not to buy a package of ground beef. The cashier immediately reported the returned item to a team member in charge so the item could go back on the shelf. The team member informed the cashier to leave it under her register until it could be put in a cart of returned items. Now, the question is, how long is that meat going to be out of refrigeration? I addressed the team member with my concern and her response was "I am aware that it needs refrigeration, however that is the policy of the store." I am extremely glad I experienced this with my own eyes; I definitely will not be shopping for meat or any other perishable items at Target. read more

We come frequently for all kinds of goods, but today we need a new car seat having outgrown the infant seat. Of course we could not leave without upgrading a few toys. The store itself is part of the Dadeland station and although it is not huge it has everything one might need from pharmaceutical to electronics. It's about two miles from home and that's fairly convenient for us anyway. We will definitely be back. read more

I went in looking for two things and could not find them in this Target location. The first thing I was looking for were plastic white hangers, nothing fancy and just the simplest most popular kind but they did not have them. They had pink hangers, light blue hangers, fancy hangers but none of the most commonly used ones new which are the plastic white hangers. The second thing I was looking for was catnip spray or mist for my pets, again, they had organic catnip leaves which are tedious to use because you have to crush them and leave them around and then they spread all over the house and make a mess. The most commonly used catnip comes in a spray/mist and this location did not have it. I think both products are commonly used household items and should be available at the store. They have to improve their inventory system so that when an item runs low the store automatically places a stock order to bring more of the product in. read more

I like several things about this particular Target store. It's connected to a large parking garage, so finding parking is rarely a problem and when it's raining or the weather is crap, the garage and walkways are covered. As others have mentioned in their reviews, Dadeland Station where this Target is located is great for comparison shopping, since Best Buy, The Sports Authority, Michael's and Bed Bath & Beyond are all located here. The only critical comment I'd have is that it seems they don't always have the express checkout lanes open as often as they should. I've been here a few times now when there were several people in the checkout lines, many of whom only had a few items, but there were no express lanes open to get those people taken care of quickly. Sometimes when dealing with customer service it's the little things like that which make an impression. read more

The parking garage makes life more complicated, and I don't know if it's because I always go during peak hours, but there is never enough Drive Up designated parking spots. I always end up hovering in a nearby spot and waiting for one to open up. The only saving grace of this location is if you have a lot of other errands to run, like PetSmart or Bed Bath & Beyond, it's all right there and easily accessed once you get into the garage. This Target is more on the "fancy" side. They have some stuff there I guess. They used to have a jumbotron made of like 4 or 16 TVs but it's not there anymore, which kinda sucks. They have a Pizza Hut (and Starbucks I think) which the Cutler Bay Target got rid of. Only a matter of time until they get rid of the one in Dadeland too. read more

If your car doesn't fit in the parking because the height and you were planning to do a drive up, they are going to make you do a huge line inside the store (same line for returns and pickup)... so avoid this target, no one wants to help. YRMA was great! A place is only as great as their employees. I needed non skid shoe. Which, women's Dept didn't have anything (also, Target, why wouldn't you have any for non skids for women). I wanted to give a shout out to one of Target's team member Javier. With a bright disposition and friendly demeanor, he went ahead and redirected me to his kiosk which was a quick check out kiosk nearby to the usual registers/lanes towards the front of the store. Most of the lanes were busy and I only had a few items but he extended a gracious hand and directed me towards his mini checkout kiosk. I was so impressed by his exemplary customer service skills that I went ahead and did the quick survey after. I am a firm believer in giving credit where credit is due especially for those who work in the hospitality or retail industries and the fact that Javier was so observant and tuned in to the customer's needs (my needs specifically) that I had to go ahead and give him a shout out in Yelp. As for the store itself, I had no complaints. I particularly liked how they recreated like a mini Disney Wonderland area where the children's toys and clothing were. I love all things Disney and it put such a smile on my face when I heard the music playing and shimmering lights twinkled with a beautiful display from Frozen. It felt like I had stepped out of Target and entered Disney. That was probably the highlight for me. There Store was organized and the checkout process was efficient. I can't speak to cleanliness or Security as I wasn't paying attention to those things, but overall it was well organized, had nice, pleasing displays, and it seemed that they had most items in stock. I also liked how the Beauty section in each Target has evolved. I see the transition that's taking place to make most drugstore beauty areas look like that of Ulta and Sephora. You get the same items or similar dupes to what you find in Sephora at a fraction of the cost. Not sure if you can test some of the items like you can at Sephora but either way I still enjoy browsing the aisles to see what they have available:) read more

Worst customer service I've had in a Target. I love visiting Target to shop for my house necesites and also, relax from all the stress of work lol. After getting all my groceries and a few things that I don't need but had to have. I waited in line for a good 20min to be next in line to check out, which I don't mind, but the lady in front of me had her kid running like crazy sneezing on everything, and due to covid, you have to be careful, also the kid wasn't wearing a mask. When it was my turn to put my items on the register I asked the cashier if she could sanitize first the area so I could put the items and she said that she didn't had time to sanitize after everyone as the line was long, that if I wanted, I could go and do self check out. Of course, that what I did. Sorry, but I have a young daughter and baby nephews I have to protect. read more

I think the layout here makes this location stand out from the rest. It's the eastern Kendall location and their extremely accessible parking garage is a breeze to get in and out of. Luckily, it's always in impeccable conditions and there's plenty of staff everywhere to ask questions when in search of something specific. This strip is known for its voluminous crowd so try to come during the slower hours if you want to be in and out. As always, Target is a stop for many items we all need on a daily basis and can serve it's purpose as the varied sections resemble that of a department store. Most of my shopping can be easily done here and I always find something cute in the women's clothing section that's both affordable and stylish. Oh wow, I have been coming to this Target since I came to this country 18 years ago, and since then I'm in love with Target! This location has been renovated and now looks better and it feels even better to shop in here. The only thing I don't like is that sometimes the carts are dirty, please if you are reading this review, make sure to throw your garbage inside the containers, because some of us find it in the carts. My favorite section in this Target is the women's clothes (Of Course!!) I always find great things at wonderful prices, so I leave Happy and Pretty! Thank you and until next time. This is probably the best Target in the southern part of urban Miami. It's in the Dadeland Station, a multi-level shopping centers consisting of 3 major stores stacked on top of each other. It's an unique shopping experience, but what gives this place all its stars is how bad the other Targets are in the area. While there's a dearth of Super Targets in Miami, this one is almost as good as one. If you're looking for a well-stocked Target with a small food pantry and a Starbucks, then this is the place to be! Parking is easy and free. read more

This Target is pretty large and I actually find myself getting lost or turned around because of its size. Lost in the wonderful world of Target - a dream come true! They have your clothing needs for great prices. They offer designer-made lines and cute, comfy workout wear. They now have their own healthy line of foods including their delicious part sugar, part stevia flavored drinks! Score. Seasonal pumpkin spice items. Not even Winn Dixie or Publix had the pumpkin spice coffee creamer, but you can always trust good ole' Target for dirt cheap grocery prices and pretty awesome selection! Random vitamin and health needs! Somehow I always end up spending $100 bucks on stuff I didn't know I need, but an afternoon at Target is just so much fun! Target is probably one of the most inexpensive places to shop for your everyday needs regularly. They have cups for 5 dollars, fun things for children for one dollar. Everyone is really nice especially Marta Castillo the cashier and this sales rep it starts with D I don't remember his name. I spent 13 dollars for a bunch of stuff and I even a applied for a RED card. It's a credit card for target. I live around the area so I'm a regular here I will definitely be back just for Marta! And to buy cool stuff of course! They have everything here from electronics to baby food to basic house stuff! What I love about this location is that you hear tropical birds around the area. I had seen this Target many times and had never stepped foot into it until today. I went this afternoon with my boyfriend to get a dress, some black leggings, and a USB cable. Everything worked out well and the Target was easy to navigate. This particular Target has a garage and that's great, considering we live in Florida and it's extremely hot. I will probably visit this Target again soon. I liked the variety of items and how everything was easily accessible. The Pizza Hut Express and Starbucks were right up front with the cashiers, next to the clothing items, so that took me a bit by surprise, but still, it's great they're there. read more

I like the fact that this one is by the station. I'd always stop here on my way to a friend or when I used to visit my husband's old place in Coconut Grove. Having the Starbucks inside - one of the big pluses. This store had most selections I needed, especially in picking the shoes. I kind of wish I lived nearby this one. I like the atmosphere in here. I love the $1 aisle. There are always nice things to buy. I end up spending an absurd amount just on the $1 aisle alone. Even if I do not need an item, I justify buying it because it is only $1. I love that this store is clean and very organized. There isn't the clutter that you sometimes find in stores. The staff members are friendly and very attentive if you ask for help. I've visited this Target for ten years but this visit was different. I visited Target to buys some protein and I needed coins to do my laundry. For the past ten years I've lived in the same apartment and have been shopping at this Target and until now no one treated me so rudely for asking for coins. I understand Target is not a bank so I wasn't asking for much, but this lady was so uninterested in helping me then she recited the rule book Targets employees should follow. This was told to me by one of the managers "Sam" (maybe short for Samantha cause she didn't have a name tag on). If this was an enforced rule then everyone would follow it, and if I was interested in knowing the rules I would have asked, if there's training that needs to be done to your employees that is irrelevant to me. Her customer service skills were non existent and she managed to ruin my mood and shopping experience that I always have there. Don't think I'll be visiting Target for my daily needs any time soon, no matter how close it is, I'd prefer to go to other places that make me feel as a valued customer. read more

I love this target location. It's conveniently located near US1 and near other department stores. It's not the largest location in the area but it always has a good stock of what's in season and everything else of course. It's also a great location for people that coupon. Grocery selections get better everyday. Parking can get a little congested on the weekends but I think that's normal anywhere. There Is self checkout. The one downside is that the Starbucks here is almost always out of something or microwave is broken but that's not Target's fault. Cashiers are friendly. read more

I love target for their bathing suit selection for women. I don't know what happened but the Dade land store moved the bathing suits to an odd location and they don't display as well as they used to as the old lication right behind the concession stand. What were they thinking when they separated all the tops from all the bottoms in 2 different locations. I like the fact that other stores that I have visited put the tops and matching bottoms near one another so that's easy to make the best matching selection. The Dateland store does not do that. I love the Dadeland target, but so does everyone else. This is the busiest target, but it also has the most options in terms of clothing and all of your personal needs. Props to whoever dresses the mannequins, because they're the best dressed ones compared to other targets I have been to. Although they have more selection in clothing, they run out of sizes very quickly. If you go to the third floor of the parking garage, sometimes you have to fight someone for a spot close to the entrance, but there is always parking here. Yay for Tar-ge! read more

I like this target because it is close to where I work and I can always stop in on my lunch break and get what I need. There is garage parking and I usually tend to park on the odd floors that aren't associated with the store entrances. I do this because I don't want my car to get dinged by a shopping cart or another car and those floors are usually empty. As long as you are okay taking the stairs or the elevator, it seems to be much more convenient. Sometimes there are long lines during peak times, but this target usually has everything I had intended stopping in for and more ha-ha. It's hard to come out under $20 bucks! It's located close to the UM campus so there are usually a lot of college students doing their shopping here. Like most target stores there is a Starbucks and a small "food court" area as well. read more
