Target - Department Stores Near Me - Marietta, Georgia

Hadn't been to Target in years but had to go twice this year due to convenience on two different trips. This was a good location for pickup. I used the Drive Up feature for the first time ever in the app. The worker who helped me was nice enough. There was plenty of parking and I was able to find a spot near the front after pickup for easy access to the restroom even on a busy weekend evening. This location is close to a lot of other conveniences and restaurants. I might have to come back and try the Reveille Cafe location nearby. Overall, it was a good experience and I would definitely stop by if I need something in the area again. read more

This Target sits on the corner of Dallas Highway and Ernest Barrett Parkway and is the anchor store of this shopping plaza. Per usual with Targets, parking is of no concern as the lot is quite large and never too full to find parking. This location features several updates from the new versions including the layout, removal of the jewelry counter which increased clothing, grab-and-go snacks and drink up front and a few other things that give it a new life! Service was solid, per usual at Targets. I was greeted on the sales floor a few times and the cashier was helpful and friendly as well. I came in looking for two specific things in the gift wrapping area and sadly they did not have either. The gift/wrapping section seemed really trimmed down and honestly had a lot of empty spots along multiple aisles. I ended having to pop over to Hobby Lobby to get what I was needing. Overall, I love Target and they can do no wrong. Even with limited stock on some items, I still love thee and will certainly be back time and time again! read more

The customer service here is amazing. Every time I come here, there is somebody at the door to greet me and asked me if I need any help. Love that. They have recently updated the store and they have a cool snack and beverage center on the right as you enter that is in addition to the café. Tons of really cool Christmas stuff to buy here for the season. Checkout was quick and I was in and out within 15 minutes and found exactly what I needed. B-U-T, the second time, I was very fortunate to be speaking with a gentleman (Aidan) who was able to answer every s-i-n-g-l-e one of my questions and could identify with "where I was coming from"! I went in to do a return with my toddler. Upon walking up to the desk. There were 2 employees and a manager. Neither of them greeted me. The manager was on one of the computers when I walked up to her she walked away. The employee next to her said out loud to her" that was rude, you were right here. You couldn't help her?" The manger walked towards the back and didn't come out until I walked away. I asked the employee if she was the manager and she said yes. I asked for her name and she said she's not allowed to give that information. I asked if there was another manager in the store and she told me to do the survey instead. When I was checking out I saw that manager walking so I stopped her and asked her what that was about she said she didn't know what I was talking about. I told her you just straight up ignored me when I walked up to you at the returns desk she said she didn't even see me come up to her desk. I told her that was very rude and that she definitely made eye contact with me and she just walked away AGAIN. No apology no nothing. This felt like a race discrimination. To be honest. I've never had this horrible service before let alone at Target. This manager was a white younger woman with glasses. And I'm a Latina woman that had a small child along. And this felt very hostile for a manager. Horrible service. read more

I love Target. Not only do they always have super clean bathrooms but it's always a lot of fun to check out some of their pop culture merchandise. Right now they have tons of clearance from the summer and since I live in Georgia where it's summer until October it's a good time to stock up on t shirts and shorts... This location off of Dallas Highway is new to me because I don't usually come by here but since me and my co-workers were scouting locations we decided we were going to see if the new "limited edition" of the Stranger Things "New Coke" were still in stock. One of my co-workers had never had it and was curious...I said just buy 20 oz Pepsi and pretend you're drinking coke...that's what the "New" Coke taste like..but they were out but someone said you can order it online so I guess we'll have to do that... This store is pretty nice with friendly employees. We were approached by two people (one in the food aisle, and once in the accessories aisle) offering to help if they can...sweet, I never get this kind of service at my Target...must be tired of seeing my goofy face...anyway, we had a good experience here and recommend the store.... read more

Not my usual Target since I live in Atlanta but I was advised by many reviews to pick up (instead of shipping) this super cute candy bowl for Halloween and this Target was the closest to me who has the bowl in stock. I opted for the pick up and the employee was already waiting for me with my order when I arrived. Great customer service from this location! read more

This is the closest Target to my home so I'm here pretty often and my experiences have been pleasurable. They clean the cart handles when you walk in and there is a Starbucks inside. Pretty well stocked. read more

I've called several times and tried to reach any department to try to get a hold of the general manager. No one has picked the phone up. It's very disappointing when you genuinely need help/answers. Also DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS HERE. Purchased 2-$200 gift cards and they were wiped clean in 2 days. Target should lock these up or not sell them at all. read more

I love Target, but have to say I absolutely hate that they are now closing the self check out lines unless regular lines are long. The whole purpose of self check out is so that people can get in & out of the store quickly. I shouldn't have to wait in lines & be forced to have pointless conversations with cashiers that I have no desire to speak with. Placed an order online went to pick it up and it wasn't ready yet. Customer service rep acting like a robot. I tried to ask them - so you could find out who was putting the order together or ask someone to put the order together since I was there. Customer service rep asked and more senior customer service rep and they both agreed that I had to wait for the "queue" to be processed in order. It's unfortunate doesn't make me want to shop there again. read more

This is the closest Target to my house and I used to LIVE in here! I loved how they always had things in stock and the friendly customer service. Ever since they changed the layout it's gone down SO much. It's a mess in there and the stock has gone down drastically. The staff is filled with kids and the environment isn't as welcoming anymore. I always go this target since it's so close to my home, however I am terrified every time I go in this store. The employees look at me like i'm some sort of weird creature or i'm looking for trouble. I use to LOVE shopping at target bit since covid i feel it has gone down hill. The customer service is not what it use to be and nowhere where it needs to be. I swear im at target almost every day of the week doing drive up orders but unfortunately it's kids that are working that department. I consistently get spoiled and expired food. I'm really between a 2 and 3 rating here because depending on who helps you can be the difference between a 2-4 rating. Store cleanliness: Overall: I give that a 4.0. The parking lot is clean as well. Products in stock: I give that a 4 as well. Most things I need are stocked here without that feeling I drove all this way for nothing. Checkout: The lines can get pretty long because they do not open as many registers as other stores but they make up for it by allowing customers to check out at customer service when there is a back- up. The cashiers are pleasant too. Helpfulness: Okay this is what made me drop down to 2 stars because all of the above categories are what a store is supposed to have anyway. The helpfulness of team members is what folks are going to remember long term. Depending on who you ask for help, you may or may not get the right help. Example: I was looking for a steering wheel for my son's Wii. The associate went above and beyond to help me find an alternative product explaining they were out of the steering wheels and the product is being discontinued. Great, she helped me however, it shouldn't take waiting 15 minutes to be helped. If an associate is overwhelmed, they need to call for backup. Recently, I was looking for another product. I knew the store had it because I searched online to see what stores had it in my area and discovered that the product could only be purchased in stores. Despite me sharing She also played the blame game by stating this is not her department. That didn't sit well with me because you can go to Home Depot and ask someone that is working in flooring where you can find plumbing for your bathroom and they will still help you find the proper item. Anyway, her coworker used her phone to search online to see that they do carry it and was able to take me to the aisle where it was stocked so I could make my purchase. Kudos for the Target website updating promptly after I made my purchase to show the item was no longer in stock (I bought the last one). But like I said, it's the helpfulness of the associate that is really going to determine your overall experience. read more

I rarely go to this target unless I can't find what I'm looking for at others. I came here looking for a iPhone 4s charger but I couldn't find one but that's probably because the 4 isn't as popular as the 5 right now. I also wanted to see if they had the fuji film insta max but they only had polaroid and only in an ugly blue color. They didn't have many swimsuits either but that might be because it's towards the end of summer. Target use to be my go to place for things but now I'll probably stick to walmart. There just isn't as much in store as there is online which is pretty disappointing. Don't forget to stop by the Starbucks on your way out, they're very friendly there! read more

Terrible customer service. Often reports on website that a pick up order is ready and when you arrive to pick up the employees state order is not ready. Employees refuse to trouble shoot the problem, refuse to be kind. All need to go back to school to learn manners and business skills. Never shopping here again. read more

Terrible customer service today. I placed an order online the evening before. Paid for it online. Came into the store to the Customer Service Department, there was a long line of 6-8 people. People had carts full to check out. I asked an employee if I had already paid & ordered online if I have to wait in the line? I was told they were "returning" also. But they were not returning. She was very rude. Finally decided to help me, I showed her my receipt on my cell phone. She was very short & snippy & requested my photo ID & basically shoved my bag to me . I've said before that the Target near Lenox is my favorite but I think that's just because it's so big and has escalators in it. I was in my local target today because I saw something on the target website that said you could exchange third party giftcards for in store credit. This sounds like a cool idea so I went to check it out. When I went into the store I I tried to retrieve a motorized scooter for my handicapped friend and none of them worked. The workers looked at me like I was crazy, trying to ride a scooter. Next I tried unfolding one of the wheelchairs for my friend and again the workers looked at me like I was crazy and wouldn't help unfold it after they saw I was struggling with it. I gave up on the wheelchair after battling with it for a while and went to find someone to help me with the gift card exchange. I went to the electronics section, where they said you could exchange the giftcards. The first person I asked didn't believe it was a real thing, the next person I asked was even more incompetent. Overall I was very disappointed with this target experience. read more
