Perfect example of "don't judge a book by it's cover." I was a little weary of this Target based on the exterior. It looks to be an older Target, a little run down and smaller than most. Kind of a "Ugh, let's just get in and get out." To say we were BLOWN AWAY by the customer service we experienced during our visit would be an understatement. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a gentleman at the door. He then directed us to the restroom (since the nearby McDonald's restrooms were CLOSED). Then we passed a group of Target workers in the middle of a morning huddle. One lady in the group paused to greet us as well. (Super nice!) Lastly, 2 workers helped us locate an E.T. dvd that my Target app said was in stock but I couldn't find. These 2 individuals dropped what they were doing to help us find this $5 movie. AMAZING. So as you can see, this Target location might not be the newest, fanciest building but their STAFF really rolled out the RED carpet for us and we really appreciate it! read more

My wife and I were in Lake Jackson today and I thought I would check out the collectible toys section in this location. Headed straight for the electronics department where I found an employee, Tiffany C., she was putting up a new shelf system but was happy to stop and answer my questions and talk about the toys I was looking for. She had outstanding skills of customer service and a great overall knowledge of the particular products i was looking at. Very different experience than I usually receive at stores in the Houston area. I found a Funko Pop that was long sold out in my area of town, so that paired with Tiffany C's sunny disposition made this a very positive trip to a new Target. read more

I want to thank the employees working last night. I had to do a last minute grocery trip. I got there right before closing. I accidentally left a couple bags behind by mistake while tending to my toddler. I tried calling, but it was past their closing hours. I for sure thought I'd lost my purchases, but this morning when I called they had them waiting for us. Thank you so much for always keeping it stocked. This is our favorite store and now to add on you have amazing workers who were able to check the register and find the items. It means a lot to me and my family. read more

I bought a frozen Butterball turkey at this Target in Lake Jackson, TX on March 21, 2020 during the starting of the coronavirus outbreak. It had an adhesive price tag applied to a stiff plastic tag on the net packaging. The adhesive tag listed the weight as 13.48 pounds with a cost of $20.09 at $1.49 per pound with no "sell by" date. Now that I have gotten the turkey home and thawed it, I peeled off the adhesive price tag to find that the plastic tag said the weight was 13.42 pounds and the price was $13.29 at $0.99 per pound with a sell by date of June 13, 2020. That's a 51% price gouge just for the privilege of buying food during he coronavirus outbreak. I will not ever be going back to this unethical Target if I can avoid it! read more

I went in on a whim today due to a weekly ad. The special was for a sale on ps4's for $30. Once I got to the parking lot I did research online to double check the ad and people had posted pics of their purchase at their local targets as well. I went in and inquired about it and the "manager" on duty immediately had her walls up. She would not honor the price. She contacted her manager and I could over hear the conversation and she clearly said that the price had to be pulled up on the website weekly ad not through the email weekly ad. I did that for her on my phone 3 times and she still would not honor it, and then just completely walked away from me! I did not raise my voice one time. I did not get angry and I did not use foul language. She blamed it on a glitch online. Then accused me of some hacking on my phone! I offered to pull up the ad on her phone and she refused!! 1- not my fault 2- the ad was listed and proof was shown of purchases 3- do not walk away from a customer and treat them like they are making a scene. I was very embarrassed and treated like I was some criminal. She made everyone in the front of the store stop and look and i had not raised my voice one time. Awful experience. You should not work that hard at your job trying to prove the customer wrong. Work that hard to create a good experience. Don't make the customer feel bad or stupid or criminal for coming in and wanting to purchase something from an ad that you emailed him. That you asked for someone to subscribe to weekly and then deny your ad that you sent out. If it's a one off situation help the person and be on your merry way. Don't drag it out until close of business and then just walk away. read more

I've been to plenty of targets and for a smaller store this one makes up in staff/organization for what it lacks in size. everything is always very neat and organized! And the team always appears to be very upbeat and friendly. Keeps me coming back! read more

My favorite part about Target is getting popcorn before I start shopping. If you're looking to pay a little extra for that relaxing shopping experience, go to target. It's never crowded like Wally World, they are always stocked and have a great selection including groceries which is still pretty new to this store. The one downside is low traffic means minimal staff, so lines might be long. read more

This is the worst target I've ever had to shop at. I usually love Target can spend hours in there. So today that's what I did, I got up ready to spend time in there. For starters I have a service dog who usually travels with me. I kid you not I was asked 17 times if he was a SD. Isn't the one time at the door by the sucky manager enough. I got done with my two hours of shopping and was checking out. I'm not sure why but this is the only place in town who won't take my checks. I've even shopped at other Targets that take my checks. So I had to leave my stuff at the customer service register and the sucky manager that I mentioned before said she'd hold my stuff for 24 hours so I could get some cash. I come back 2 hours later and ask for my stuff and the young man at the register tells me they just put my stuff back on the floor. He went to that sand manager and all she said was I put it all back. What happen to my 24 hour hold especially when I told her I'd be back the same day. She didn't have anything to say. But I will not EVER be back to this Target. If I need something from Target I'll drive the extra 45 minutes to Galveston or Pearland. read more

The worst target!! The workers are rude and stuck up, as soon as i walked in the building they gave me dirty looks. They accused my friends and me or stealing when all we did was try on clothes, then proceed to harass us, and follow us around the store. I don't recommend this target. read more
