Has Target management lost their effing minds? This is the Target closest to my home, but I try not to shop there.(or any other Target for that matter). When fate demands it, (Fate is my wife's name) and I find myself in Target, I am always amazed.
Due to the hours we work, we are always there at closing time to witness the 45 minutes of closing announcements screamed every 5 minutes over the intercom in both English and Spanish. They keep better time than my cellphone. At 11:00 on the dot, during the final announcement, the lights go out. I mean dark!! You are then herded up to the front by unbelievably rude staff who use 2-way radios turned up all the way so you can hear their rodeo antics - (yep, got one back here, yep, got em ), who then post themselves at strategic locations to ensure a secure perimeter. The Osceola Sheriff's department could learn a thing or two from them. Now mind you, I really don't want to be in Target one second after closing, but, I am an adult, and i manage to toddle out of every other store at closing time without incident. Heck I even leave Wal-Mart, and they never close! Anyway, herded up to the front (eyes straight ahead, no looking around at our products) so we can wait in line for one of the two cashiers, behind droves of Brazilian tourists on missions to buy 2 of every product in Florida. It just seems to me that in a mediocre (at best) economy that Target would make you feel welcome in hopes of a purchase, instead of an intrusion in their night. I do believe we will see the end of this company soon. Good riddance you overpriced, mismanaged, misdirected piece of crap! Go Wal-Mart. read more
