They advertised Easter candy was but one get one half off. I had to do self checkout with a cart full of items because there were no checkouts open. I looked at my receipt and they had charged me full price for my Easter candy. The woman at the service desk told me I had to have the circle app. The signs by the candy didn't have that unless you read the FINE print. Target just lost a customer. Horrible service. read more

Not handicap friendly! Had the worst experience this morning! They did have an electric cart which helped until I tried to take my things to my vehicle. I had no idea that the carts stop at the doorway and would not go outside! This frustrated not only me but my Service Dog as well since I tried to go out one door, but it wouldn't open, so I had to back up, go to the other door, then the cart wouldn't go through, so I had to back up again and go put the cart away and move all of my items to another cart to take outside to my vehicle. Life is hard enough when you are disabled, then we have to deal with this shit!! It made me have an episode with my heart rate! Not nice! read more

Every employee was able to assist me, they were polite and knew exactly where everything was in the store. I asked a few employees different questions regarding where certain things were in the isles as well as size options and then my dressing room experience was outstanding! Not only were the dressing room is clean all doors were open and available to the customers. The employees did a fantastic job working on the tasks that they were taking care of while still monitoring the dressing rooms. The selection of this target was outstanding the bathing suits, the clothing, the purses! I'm still kicking myself for not purchasing the purse that I was staring at! I had a great day shopping. I received everything that I need from several different departments. Everything was within budget and the season selections are really wonderful! I can't say enough positive things about my experience yesterday. Typical target would be in Bozeman but coming from West Yellowstone I wanted to try Idaho Falls. And I have to say Idaho Falls target was far better than the Bozeman target. I will definitely be back. read more

My wife and I went into our local Target in Idaho Falls Idaho to purchase a microwave which cost $169.59. We noticed steam coming out of the top of the door. I inspected it with a flashlight and inside the oven I noticed a large crack. We looked at the same brand at our local Target, and they offered to trade it in for the same model. We removed this second oven from the box to inspect it and found it had the very same crack. We requested a refund, and we were given a gift card. We told them we just wanted our money back and they told us this was the best they could do. I spoke to the manager Erik, and he said that was the best he could do and handed me a number to call---1-800-440-0680. Of course, when I called the number, it had several selections. Finally, when I was to the correct number and I told her what my problem was and that I just wanted the money I spent on their faulty oven refunded--she hung up on me. I want to say that my wife and I are elderly and have a limited income that covers our grocery and medical bills. Also, technology is not my eras comfort zone which was why we asked for help from the store manager, just to be handed a bogus number that was no help at all, rather just added to our frustration. We typically do not shop at Target, so the gift card is mostly useless and after this remarkably uncaring service experience, we will not be going back. No one was willing to take the time to make this right from the store manager to the main office. Rather they made it frustrating and impossible. This is an expense we could not afford, and we just wanted an easy refund of the money we spent. read more

We needed to do a return here on our way back from California to Canada and Tim, at Customer Service, was cheerful, personable, and expedient at 9am! The store was clean and well organized (even the $ bin entry area). We hadn't intended on shopping again but couldn't help but wander the whole store snagging some more goods before heading back home. Target seriously knows how to do clearance and their home decor and oversized coffee mugs make my heart smile. Also the washrooms were clean and spacious. (So much better than a gas station stop!) Such excellent variety of items in stock! I went on a Saturday so it was extremely busy, but I still was able to find everything I needed and more (I ended up getting more than I intended...). I also ended up having a couple mishaps, but both were resolved so quickly and helpfully. The customer service here is just exceptional. This target has a few employees who play gifted, they take place of a manager and they are not !! They could use some up date on their customer service, and what it is to be respectful to your guest. I call this a "compacted" target in comparison to the ones in California. But the staff was suuuuuper friendly and always asked if we needed help with anything. They were very very helpful. Everything was going fine and dandy until we checked out. The clerk wasn't smiling or saying anything. She coughed in her hand a few times though. I thought her demeanor was odd compared to the rest of the workers at the store. Then, after putting everything in bags and ringing us up, she ran to the bathroom to throw up. Wonderful. Now, I'm thinking that her germs are all over each item, on the handles of the bags, and I'm holding em. Um... If she has food poisoning or anything, that can spread if she doesn't wash her hands properly. Oh, and I remembered that she coughed in her hands then handled my purchases. O crap. I returned all the items and explained what had happened. The manager (?) totally understood and told me not to take a chance. I waited nearly 10 mins for a family bathroom, as they only have one. Come to my surprise, an employee came out of it (no kids). I asked why she was using a family bathroom and I got a "I had to adjust something". Then, to make matters worse, she went into the office next door over (meaning she's part of the leadership team). Way to set an example and tell your customers that we come second to your own personal needs! That was incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. I hope corporate reads this review so it may better educate its employees about treatment of your PRIMARY demographic (ie young mothers) read more

Used brickseek to find the highly anticipated ad icons funko pop figures. Once brickseek said the Idaho Falls Target had all 4 in stock i rushed over. The employee told me to wait while he looked in the back, came back a few minutes later and said he couldn't find any and to check back later. Lunch time rolls around, and i head over again, and still no luck finding the "missing" items. Checked back again in the evening and they still gave me the same story instead instructing me to call instead of come into the store. The next morning i called and at least the employee who "helped" me on the phone pretended to look around longer than the previous attempts, but still no sign of these figures. The employee took my name and number down and said they would call once they found them. I thought i was home free until that afternoon when i checked brick seek, and to my dismay.... Sold Out! The restrooms don't have seat covers. Nope. Not ok. Never ok. And when i say they don't have seat covers I'm not talking them not re-stalking them/running out, i mean they DONT HAVE ANY AT ALL!!!! Okay expect chain stores to be similar and have what I need. This Target is erking me. I usually like Target and Super Target, I've been spoiled by the nice stores in Florida. This Target never has anything in stock! Nor does it have a nice selection of anything. I recently went Christmas shopping here. I bought 2 ornaments as gifts. The checker said she would wrap them so they wouldn't get broken. After I'd driven the 100 miles to my house I realized the ornaments had not been put in my bag. I called the store and the guy I talked to was so helpful. Not only did he take my word for it, but he shipped me replacements. His name is Eric Schreibeis. He included a very nice note in the package. My faith in humanity has been restored. So Idaho falls target is not at fault in this review, it's corporate target. So on August 28th my aunt purchased a gift card in California, mailed it to me and I received it on September 4th. Today I went to use the gift card and they said there was no money on it, so I had my Aunt text me a photo of the receipt for the gift card and asked customer service if that would work. Originally they said it would but when they called to check the balance on the gift card it stated the $100 was spent on August 30th. Which is impossible because it was in the mail at that point in time. The people who work for corporate were very rude, refused to help me or refund my aunts credit card. Then when she called they stated it was her fault for purchasing a fraudulent gift card. Still no help to us, so my aunt is now out $100 and I am so very disappointed in target. It's absolutely ridiculous that criminals can go out and steal gift card info with no consequences but then when the innocent people get money stolen from them target does absolutely nothing to help or make it right. Will not be shopping at this store again. read more

I have always liked target but this target doesn't seem particularly well stocked especially in the little girls department. I haven't really tried out the pharmacy, women's, or men's sections so can't comment there. Checkers seem happy and proficient. read more
