This is such a fun stadium to watch the home team play on a summer day! I can say all the same stuff other reviews will share, but I'd like to give some elite tips instead! Check the promotions before heading to the game, because you might want to get there early for the free giveaways to the first xxxxx people! If you can't get or don't have a ticket, sit in the grass to watch the giant screens for free! You'll still hear the announcing and cheering in live time with other fans! ( near the lightrail stop) Go to the customer service to get a certificate for your first game Order food & drinks in the apps for a discount. Some seats/sections they'll do delivery. If you have kiddos: -go Sundays for cheaper seats -meal deals -join the kids club -train rides on the 3rd floor an hour before the game -pics with T.C. I visited Target Field for a Saturday afternoon game (Twins vs. Blue Jays) in early June 2025. This is a relatively new ballpark (opened in 2010) and was clean and easy to navigate. It's right in downtown Minneapolis, so it was only a 20 minute walk from the Hilton hotel near the Convention Center. Lots of pluses at this ballpark. First, I enjoyed the view of the downtown Minneapolis skyline (from high up in Section 221 Row 7). Only a few sections have this view, so be sure to do some research online before purchasing your seats if you're visiting from out of town. Second, Minnesotans are so nice! Third, I enjoyed a $15 banh mi from the Union Hmong Kitchen stand near the Gate 6 ballpark entrance (near the rail station). Loved the spicy "ballpark" banh mi with a sausage, carrots, cilantro, and peppers. Would definitely return to Target Field in the future! read more

Target Field is one of the best outdoor venues I've been to. I know it's the field of the Minnesota Twins, but my experience there was for a concert. The seats were actually pretty wide and comfortable in terms of the stadium seating I've experienced. There isn't really a bad seat in the whole place because they all slope down to where the field/stage is at, with no real "obstructed view" seats that I saw (for our show at least). I was surprised that in an outdoor show, the sound was actually pretty clear and well mixed. The food and drinks are just basic food and drinks you'd see at any sports game or concert and just as expensive - but that's to be expected. Small bags are allowed in, but have to be single compartment and under a certain size. Definitely check the bag policy for the venue but also your show/game, because they can have different policies for different events too. If you're coming in from anywhere around the city, take the Light Rail to the Target Field station, and it will drop you right at the ballpark/venue. They even add some cars to the Light Rail when there are bigger shows or games. If you see a performer or game that interests you at Target Field, it's a pretty neat outdoor venue so I recommend checking it out! read more

Great stadium with easily accessible green areas, good team stores, and some affordable food and drink options. The kid meals in particular were awesome (with hot dog, ships and a drink for not much more than a single plain hot dog). They did not require clear bags for entry, which I appreciated. Not as many standing areas as other stadiums we have been to nor is the kids area as robust. We did like the wide concourses that made it easy to get around and the abundant bathrooms. Lots of family single stalls as well. read more

Stadium 24/30. I really liked Target Field! It's one of the newer ballparks in baseball, and has some cool downtown views. I took the trolley down here from the VA Hospital stop and it only took about 20 minutes. It drops you off right outside the gates..no walking needed. Would highly recommend taking the trolley to/from the game. Seats were nice! I got a ticket behind home plate, 30 rows up for less than $28.00. Score! Had the whole row to myself, too. Great view! I loved the statues they had outside the stadium, too. I got some pictures of Kirby Puckett for my brother in law (he loved Kirby Puckett). I have a colleague that lives in Minnesota and he told me that if I came here, I had to go upstairs and see the Organ Lady, Sue Nelson! I made it up her way and you can actually go into her room and watch her play. She was incredibly nice. I told her that I was from AZ, and she let me know that only her and the AZ organ player are accessible to the public. All the other 28 teams organists are behind closed doors, usually in the press box. Pretty cool fact, right there! Talked to her for a few minutes, and watched the rest of the game and then left. Minnesota folks are incredibly nice. Some of the nicest folks I have ever met in my life. Outside the stadium, they had bucket drummers set up, and one guy asked me if I would like to contribute to their "fund", and I said no. A lot of folks would be like "Come on man, help me out blah blah". Not this guy, he said "That's ok sir, hope you have a good rest of your evening and a good weekend!" I also got talking to a pedicab driver outside the stadium. He was super nice too! Wish all folks could be "Minnesota Nice" lol. Had a great time at the stadium and the Twins won! One of the nicer stadiums I've visited! It was my first time in the Twin Cities and a baseball game was definitely on the agenda. Glad that the team was at home and we got to check them out. The stadium is right next to the T-wolves arena so you're actually walking through the building to get to the baseball field. In the heart of downtown, it wasn't too crazy when we were there, especially because I was with smart people who reserved parking for us! We didn't get to our seats until the 5th inning because we were exploring everywhere. We stopped at every level to check out the views and I happened to know a friend who was also at the same game so we stopped by their seats first and hung out there for a bit. But we did a lot of walking around, mostly looking for good food. They have a good selection depending on what you're in the mood for! read more

POST GAME CONCERT REVIEW: I saw Nelly on 7/11/25! The show started about 30 minutes after the end of the game. Beers were sold for that long too. I sat in section 103. His stage was set up basically on 2nd base. Personally for viewing sake, I would have preferred they set up concerts a little farther back in mid-field, but they may have been avoiding people standing on the grass, as they did allow people on the field. I am not sure if you prebuy those spots on the field. It seemed they may have been giving wristbands to people in line to get out there, so it may have been first come first serve? Unsure! Anyways, our seats in 103 row 8 had a fine (side) view of the show and a great view of the projector! Sound was great! He played much longer than I expected - easily an hour plus! My suggestion for seats for a post game concert is anything lower level behind/between 1st base, home plate or 3rd! Definitely nothing in outfield, and prioritize lower level if you can, worth the price! Bravo to the Twins staff, and to Nelly! read more

It was hard to find our section though because it was labeled in two different spots but we followed the map on our phone and were able to find our seat. If you are in Minneapolis in the summer, you have to visit Target Field. It's a nice stadium and if you sit by the Doug out you have that nice view of the city. The food for a stadium was better than expected. The cheese curds were crispy and tasty. The burger came with the fries; price was good and surprisingly good. [Out-of-Towner Review] Boring stadium and mostly boring game. And I don't say this as a loyal, born and raise SF Giants fan. The stadium is nice, clean, and newish. But it stops there or maybe I didn't know what to go look for. It has the basics, food and shops, but beyond that it was generally boring. I will say, I did my homework on their food and their MLB food influencer event made it easy to see what was new and what I should order. Kramarczuk's bratt sampler sampler loooked so cute and IG worthy, but it was too much food and also $40. I went with the Cheddar Sausage and it was delicious. So much, I contemplated getting another one. And to my ABSOLUTE AMAZEMENT, they carry Wild Cherry Pepsi on tap. This is my literal dream come true. My favorite soda is VERY hard to find on tap. They have mini, grab-n-go markets where you can get a souvenir cup for fountain drinks. There is only one drink cup option, unfortunately. It's a LOT of soda. We sat in section 115, row 13 and they were very reasonable seats I will say, I didn't enjoy the lit up 'Win! Twins!' sign. I was also intrigued by the bullpen layout, which both teams seem to share. We walked the entire ballpark and checked out each level. Again, nothing too exciting. Also, if you use the MiLB app, be sure to snag the 10% off coupon in the app. I didn't notice it until after I got my souvenir. Lesson learned. Happened to be in town when my hometown Royals were here, so I made my way over for the game. In a word? JEALOUS. KC has a great stadium (Kauffman Stadium) but it's kind of in the middle of nowhere. Being able to walk here (which I did), or rent a bike to ride back (which I also did), was great. Also their commuter train goes right out front which is incredible. The stadium is great, with lots of local vendors scattered throughout. I did find it a bit tight at times and hard to find how to go up to my cheap seat, but managed just fine. And like most things here, the Minnesota nice is real. No one gave me a hard time for my Royals gear or cheers, and it felt nice to take everything in. Baseball is meant to be played downtown and I love what this brings to downtown Minneapolis. read more

A very good park, especially at night when the extensive scoreboards, lights and sound system put on a show. Background Attended a Friday night game in May, Twins vs. Royals. Sat in lower part of lower deck, third base side, yep, great seats. Clear skies, good sweatshirt weather. Twins won 3-1 on a walk-off 2-run homer in the ninth. Stadium My appreciation for Target Field increased over the course of the game. It's a downtown stadium, always nice, but the outfield is mostly surrounded by stands so doesn't take in much of the skyline. And aside from the centerfield nostalgic Twins sign there's nothing memorable about the view. But as darkness falls and the game progresses, this stadium (almost literally at times) shines. First, the sound system is exceptional, and that along with fan noise are amplified in this bowl of a ballpark. And the stadium puts on one heck of a light show. Fireworks, neon, strobes, hi-res scoreboard displays, it's all there as eye candy. Lots of fun. Food Hot dog was pale, my hopes dimmed, but it tasted quite good, Even better was the Polish dog from the Kramarczuk's booth. Lots of interesting food options - Indian rice bowls, shawarmas, cheesesteaks, walleye sliders, tacos, there's a little something for everyone. What's Unusual Another field that's built below ground level. You don't really notice though, except for an open view in right field and for a long walk downward to our seats. I have been to a many different ball parks around the country and this one was one of the good ones. It is smack down in the middle of downtown with plenty to do around the park. I was told you should be careful walking around at night after the game though. The Cheese curds were unique and must order if you come to Target Field. Concessions are fairly average, much like any other stadium, but the atmosphere is incredible for a baseball game -- talk about an authentic american experience here. Our tour guide, Lynn, did an excellent job showing us the stadium and relaying highlights of the Twins and the history, the architecture, and the construction of Target Field. Very interesting. Can't say enough AMAZING things about Target Field, the staff, facilities, etc. I am so thankful for this wonderful visit to see our hometown team - the twins! When your kiddo can enjoy going to a ball game as much as the parents..it's a huge deal. On this particular visit during the Memorial Day weekend (3 family members including my 6 yr old son) we ended up using the UHC Sensory Suite during 2xs this visit. Our little guy is a little particular to loud noises and even with his noise canceling headphones. It doesn't help during intense plays and calls...so it was nice to escape our section and head to the Sensory Suite and get away from the noise while also calming down my kiddo and having him play with some toys while I still got to watch the game from inside the suite. The Sensory Suite is located on the Suite level (Suite 1) which is located along the 1st base line. There will be a target field guest service associate who will check you in - no matter where your seat is, all are welcome to use these facilities. Yay! There's a private bathroom and 2 rooms that guests can use to calm down. Both rooms are private and do not have any windows. You can change the colors, white noise in each of these rooms. There are comfy chairs and sensory toys to use. There is a main open room towards the field that has magna-tiles and a light table. Then you can even venture outside and sit in the chairs overlooking the field. We also indulged in a helmet sundae and nachos grande filled in a large helmet. Fun souvenirs to take home! I would like to thank Paul and the rest of the wonderful staff at the UHC Sensory Suite for accommodating us and Barry for escorting us from 1 side of the stadium over to Suite 1. I like target field. I love going to the theme night baseball games. I usually go to 2-3 themed games a year. This year/summer I went to 3 - Hello Kitty (celebrated my bday), Prince Night & Barbie. I do wish they celebrated the themes a bit more. Would be cool to have themed food and drinks. They did have a purple drink for Prince night. I have a little hack for buying tickets. I almost always never sit in my actual seat. Now that the games are shorter (I don't like staying until the end and dealing with the ramp traffic) I'd probably walk around get my usuals and leave. I really like the nachos. They aren't fancy at all but it's like a tradition every time I go. I get them without the mystery meat though. The drinks are very expensive but I will always have at least one every time I go. Regardless of anything I always have fun. It's always a bonus if the Twins win! read more

We booked a tour of the stadium before the Twins game. Bill was our tour person. The stadium is beautiful. The tour was disappointing. We didn't get to see the locker rooms or the Budweiser area. Our tour guy wasn't really on it I feel. Mostly talked about how his son works for the stadium in the HR department and how they go to games etc etc. There were 3 of us in his group. We should have been able to see everything. We have toured many ball parks and this was the most disappointing. read more

I was visiting Minneapolis for a convention and I, along with a group of friends thought it would be a fun night to go to a baseball game. It was a beautiful evening and I knew that it would be an enjoyable evening. It was an easy walk form the [Marquette] hotel. We entered and made our way over to our section (321) slowly. What I truly liked about this stadium is just how family friendly it is. Clearly people were getting here earlier than needed just to to enjoy their time here before the game. It's always a nice experience watching people having a good time. It's a big clean stadium. Everything about it was well kept. Once the game started (Twins Vs. Red Sox,) we pretty much stayed in our own seats and just enjoyed what was going on around us. It was a fun game although not that enjoyable for the Twins who lost 10-2. We paused for a dinner stop since it was hot dog night and they were just in $1.00 each. They have plenty of food places here, a little something for everyone. We recently attended the Green Day concert here and it was an awesome venue for a concert! We have been to many twins games here and enjoy all the extras the ballpark has to offer. We usually purchase seats in the lower price point and walk around. There is always a great spot to stand and watch the game. The seats are typical stadium seats and of course the beer and food can get a little pricey but you are able to bring in an empty water bottle and fill it up. They also offer 612 Saturdays on select Saturday Twins games that has great deals before the game! read more

Target Field surprised me for two reasons. Being a Dodgers fan, I don't see too much of it on tv and it's super nice and integrated into the area well, giving it a cool urban feel. Target Field comes in as my 19th ballpark visited out of 30, and I got to enjoy both a VIP tour of the stadium (including seeing batting practice) and a game while here. That said, Target Field is very middle of the pack for me in terms of the experience that it offers. I love finding what makes each stadium unique, and I have to say that there isn't a *ton* on offer at Target Field. While it's one of the newer ballparks - and is considered "America's Greenest Ballpark" across MLB because of various aspects of its infrastructure (you can find out more about that, here: https://www.mlb.com/press-release/press-release-target-field-becomes-first-mlb-stadium-to-achieve-leed-platinum-ce) - there just aren't a lot of things that make the actual experience as a fan or visitor all that unique. It is a stadium with a small footprint though. The guide I had during the VIP tour I went on kept describing the stadium as being "built like a muffin - smaller on the bottom, then puffing out on top" in order to fit into the small footprint in downtown Minneapolis. Then there's Gate 34. An homage to legendary outfielder Kirby Puckett, there are various statues around that make for decent photo opportunities. Inside Gate 34 is also a small lawn area that allows for games of cornhole. There are concessions on either side (including Lord Fletcher's, which, at least for the 2024 season, offers the walleye burger). Another unique option is visiting with Sue Nelson, the organist for the Twins. You can visit the Twins Pub (located on the Terrace Level behind home plate) to grab a drink, watch the game, and chat with Sue in between songs. Then there's the scoreboard, which includes both "Minnie" and "St. Paul" shaking hands for the "Twin Cities" after things like a Twins homerun. Beyond that, there's not a ton that stood out for me from my visit. Target Field has a bunch of public, brewery-type spaces available. The fans are engaged and knowledgable. I don't know... the place just feels lacking. Also, it's Minneapolis... and I'm sorry, but I wish there was a retractable roof on the place. Weather in Minneapolis is too unpredictable in the spring, and it just seems like having a retractable roof on Target Field would have been a great addition in ensuring greater attendance at games during the parts of the year with colder temps. I get that they probably couldn't do that with the location of this stadium (given that it's surrounded by highway that already existed before Target Field was built - and that "muffin-esque" design)... but I would have been so appreciative of a retractable roof. Instead, I opted for the next best thing when the temp got so cold during game time (even when I had a coat)... I went back into the club area and watched from either 1) next to the Thrivent Club fireplace, or 2) the barstool seating near the windows. TL;DR Middle of the road stadium that highlights achievements in green design, but lacks in uniqueness for the fan experience. I'm glad I got to visit for a tour and a game - it just probably isn't a stadium that I'll rush to return to (I actually had a 2nd game planned and skipped that just because I felt so "meh" about returning). read more
