Such a great experience for game day! Nestled across the highway from mac-groveland, this was an epic experience. It was easy to park on the streets for free, and many others did as well to avoid the parking lot fee at the stadium. They had a pre-game party on the lawn which was so fun! There were samples of beverages, games, and plenty of information booths. There are multiple entrances to head into the stadium. The stadium was epic! There is a huge Brewhall on one end of it, which was incredible, and they had lots of other food stations as well to choose from. We enjoyed the cheese curds! Lots of shops as well to get some gear. Evening games are gorgeous as the sun is setting just past the stadium. There is truly not a bad seat in the stadium! We were high up, but it was good so we were able to see the whole field. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Lots of fun chants to yell during the game, and of course waving your towel! Quite a crowd getting out of there but many traffic guards to help. First timer to Allianz Field. Was attending a company event with the family where my hubby's company is a huge sponsor of MN United. They sponsored a picnic dinner for family outside the stadium. There's a huge pre- party area nearby for pre-game music and booths and some fun interactive experiences. I grabbed a free clear bag from Hyundai. We also checked out the kids playground area on the east side of the stadium. Loved it. Great for kids to get the wiggles out before heading into the stadium. The game was full of excitement. We sat behind the north side goal tender area. I did a nice lap around the stadium, grabbed drinks, ice cream and a souvenir for the kiddo. The only negative for me was one of the refs that had some very bad calls and the bugs. It was very buggy, I felt itchy quite often and maybe because they are constantly watering the grass so it's the only place the bugs are attracted to in the area since it's been so dry. read more

Love Allianz Field! This is such a great spot to view our Minnesota loons. My favorite section to sit in is the fan section, it's really worth it! When we go, we get there around game time start and since we don't have assigned seats.. we can find seats either down below to the side or move throughout the game. Always remember to bring your scarf to save your seat! The beers are a little pricey at $15 a pint, but on brand with other sports arenas in the area. We always have a fun time here and security is usually pretty quick. Leaving the arena can be a bit tough and I don't often find there's enough parking For the guests. I visit this beautiful stadium often to see the Loons (MN United Football Club) play. It's easy to find parking in the surrounding neighborhood and then have a nice 10 minute walk to get to the stadium. Lots of concession options, friendly staff and it's very clean! My company, Allina Health, one of the sponsors at Allianz Field, hosted an event on the roof deck for an MNUFC game. PARKING: I paid $20 in advance via SeatGeek app to park at the old Herberger's parking lot. The staff there was friendly and approachable. The game was scheduled for 7:30 PM, and I arrived at 6:00 PM. It wasn't a bad walk on a hot summer day compared to the map on the SeatGeek app. I do recommend buying your parking tickets early. I wanted to be as close to the field as possible, and I remember seeing $65. My husband was like, "heck no," so I waited until the week of--hoping the price would drop, but that same spot became $90+! The $20 spot was $12, which was like a month before. LAYOVER LAWN: Before the game, there is live music and lots of fun free activities for you and your kids. You can buy drinks and MNUFC merchandise. THE ROOF DECK: Checking in was easy and quick. One staff member misdirected me when I asked how to get to the roof deck area. Telling me, "the roof deck is up there, so the entrance should be somewhere around here (gesturing to the Brew Hall)," isn't helpful. I asked another staff member and was given detailed information. To get to the roof deck, you will need to check in with a staff member who will scan your ticket and give you a stamp. There are two entrances on either side inside the Brew Hall. I think there was an elevator, but otherwise you'll be climbing some stairs. The seating is general for the roof deck. There are two rows of seats. Not many food options besides chips and nachos, bratwurst, hot dog, pretzel, and candy. They have some beers and bottled non-alcoholic drinks. If you sit in the second row, you get a small table space. If you sit in the front row, there are no tables, but you have a cup holder! The bathroom was clean, not crowded. The staff members on the roof deck were friendly, professional, and efficient. Also, if you have a ticket to the roof deck, there is a $20 voucher included in your ticket for food/drinks. I love Allianz Field! I did not know that I was a soccer fan until I attended a MN United game at Allianz Field. The energy of the fans is intoxicating. The game was fun to watch and the open air stadium gave us an amazing view of the sunset. The food and drink were your typical stadium prices and offering although I heard they regularly have a guest chef cooking during certain times/days. We parked in the neighborhood for free and walked a few blocks to the stadium so we did not have an issue with traffic. Great time and highly recommend! read more

I love Allianz Field; I'm not a huge sports fan, but soccer games there are so fun! My friends have season tickets, so my husband & I will tag along sometimes. We've sat in regular seats, a box, & stood in the fan/supporter section. There honestly isn't a bad view from anywhere! The supporter section is my favorite, I love feeling involved (even if I don't always follow the plays super closely); their energy is electric. The stadium has a ton of food & drink options, with plenty of self-serve drink stands, which are great. Prices are pretty typical for a stadium: drinks are $10+ each. I brought my wheelchair-using dad here & he was able to get around super easily. We sat in the ADA seats, which were on the main level, but I believe there are also quite a few elevators around for those who need them. Last game we were at, there was a Make A Wish event, where the beneficiary got to kick a goal to start the game. They also had a post-game event, where their sponsored Unified Team took the field (some of the fans from the supporter section even brought drums & led chants). It's a great stadium. I just wish the team that played in it was as great. Currently reducing our season ticket allocation from 4 to 2 tickets in the hopes that the quality changes. I've seen both the men and women's national teams here. Including that ridiculously cold match with below zero windchills against Honduras on Feb. 2nd, 2022. The games have all been fantastic. Even the away games where you can go sit upstairs and watch the big screen across the stadium. That's pretty cool. My only bitch is that we sing Wonderwall after our wins. Did you know at least 6 or 7 other MLS teams sing the same damn song? Seriously. Considering what music is available that comes out of our state really makes it a shame. Hell, I bet Craig Finn could write a song/chant himself and it would be kick ass. But that star reduction should be on a review of the club itself. Not on this amazing stadium. Went with a few friends to check out a game. The stadium has great security considering the amounts of homeless people in the area. Once inside the stadium is easy to navigate and many locations provide great food options. The burgers and food look better than the ones you find at other stadiums in the twin cities. There are roaming beer carts that you can flag down or go to a bar or beer stand. The stadium has very steep seating arrangements providing amazing views for everyone. We sat at the top this time and the view was still great. Everyone was very friendly and polite and the futol crowd seemed to be a lot more respectful than your American football crowd. The game was exciting and the energy was high and the night was absolutely beautiful. Going through security was very quick and organized and leaving was very quick also. There were many families with kids enjoying the game. I would recommend waiting at least 30 min till the game is over before leaving because traffic is horrible right away since everyone clears out quickly. read more

This is a beautiful soccer stadium! There really isn't a bad seat in the house. There's so much energy inside when watching the Loons play. The fan sections is very lively and motivational! Once we warched most of the game at the beer area begind the net. It was a good view and Lots of local brews and food to choose from. Tickets are reasonably priced but still out often, so buy early. Make sure to have a tiny clear bag. Don't show up ladies with a large purse filled with everything but the kitchen sink. The two bars were open-my only complaint is that my Pepsi was more ice than drink but they did have water and coffee available as well. Growing up as an avid Chicago sports fan, I never really got into soccer - but after visiting Allianz field it has me intrigued! I went to a game earlier in the year, when they were still requiring vaccine cards. Even though there was this extra step, the entry line went smoothly. I felt the same way about the line last night for the skills competition. I also had great service by the Brew Hall employees during my visit. Overall, the arena feels futuristic and new, while still giving the cozy home-field feel. The open air is always nice on a summer day, but it's important to note that there's not much wind circulation so it can get a big stagnant and hot in the summer. The whole place has great light blue branding, while the Brew Hall brings a woody feel to the place. Since the skills match was a short game, we only went to the Brew Hall for a drink. The main attraction is the line of taps with many different options! I, of course, had to get the Loon Juice cider. Only downside is that they don't offer a smaller size (which I almost always get at breweries), so I gave the rest to my boyfriend later. I did love the souvenir cups being included, especially since 3 drinks came out to about $45 here (not including any liquor). As a new soccer fan, I loved the energy that the fans and stadium brought! It was pretty high energy just for a skills match on an early Tuesday night. Definitely made the night more fun. Overall, the Loons have a new fan and you'll catch me here for a couple games! read more

I love this place to see a soccer game! The views are great where ever you are in the stadium and the Gameday atmosphere is amazing here. The stadium looks cool from the outside at night when you drive by, but getting inside it feels is like a whole other world. You have to experience a game day here. I haven't eaten any of the food, but the offerings looked good and pretty reasonably priced. The 2 story bar on the north side of the stadium is a cool spot as well. My only gripe is that the concourses don't feel quite large enough and can get pretty crammed in certain spots near the gates/food lines, but it is mostly easy to get around. read more

Incredible facility! The food and service here is unmatched. Every season the menu changes slightly and each year there are so many good options all over the stadium. There are so many drink options as well. The "Wonderwall" is always full of fans with drums, flags, and chants rain or shine. It brings so much energy to the game. We love coming to Allianz for the loons games! Our seats were excellent and the view of the field is incredible from anywhere within the stadium. They have a wide variety of food available including stands that rotate in featured chefs throughout the season. We had a Philly cheese steak and one of their featured sausages with chimichurri sauce and fresh pico. You can expect to spend between $12-$18 on an entree item, $10-$22 on beer or cocktails and $5 per bottle of water approximately. In our opinion the prices are reasonable for a stadium especially with the variety of options available. The stadium does tend to be very crowded during games so come a little early to check in and get through security. The same goes with concession lines where you should expect to wait in a pretty heavy line before the game or during halftime so it's best to grab your snack right after the start of the game, during a review, or any other time you can sneak out. They do have great bathroom availability on the other hand, there is almost never a wait for the women's restroom and they tend to be clean and well stocked as well. Staff is friendly and they always have ample security around the building as well. From crowd engagement that features chants throughout the game, flags waving, item give aways, and ending the evening singing wonder wall for a win, there is tons to do during the game. The games tend to be very family friendly as well with everyone watching respectfully and minding their language compared to some of the other arenas we frequent. Great place and great team! At first I did not know what to expect from Allianz stadium, but right when you walk the first thing you will notice is that it has that organized chaos you would expect from a stadium if you are visiting during peak hours . There is a huge Flat screen for easy re-play viewing. We went on a day where it was 90 degrees with high humidity. We sat in an unshaded area were in the sun was intense, but I loved it. So before you come you should research the weather and plan accordingly hours before because Mother Nature caters to no one. The lines to get beer and food can be pretty long during peak hours, but the do move quite fast. The field is grass, at first my company and I couldn't tell if it was turf or grass, but the sprinklers came on and demystified our curiosity. In conclusion, I would highly recommend watching a game here not just for soccer aficionados but also for those who just want both teams to have fun. read more

I've formed a new Allianz, and it's with this field. Minnesota United plays here. I asked for a large soda and ended up with a Mini Soda. And now my shoelaces are untied. Mini Soda Untied. So it's great to see a soccer-specific Stadium built in Minnesota and one which hopefully will continue to be packed and will help the team achieve some great success. It's pretty amazing to see a stadium like this open in America because it's like a miniature version of the one in Munich, the Allianz, which I went to years before I came to this one. I'm not sure that it has a retractable roof though, but it does have the glowing colours which are brighter and more piercing through the night than anything you can imagine. They put a lot of heart and local soul into the stadium and long may it continue. It's great for a Minnesota that they have their own MLS team now, which you would not want to play up here during the winter, so it's lucky for all the fans and rival teams especially that MLS play during the summer. Having said that there are strong arguments to have seasons played during the winter so we will see what happens with that. In any case it's a great new team that hasn't found success yet but has brought excitement to a region that can use it, and there's some great food up here and hopefully at some point there can be some titles up here too. read more

Get a parking pass ahead of the game for a nearby lot then you don't have to worry about finding street parking. There are some gluten free options in the stadium and cider! Home of the LOONS! So stoked that this place exist as a MN United supporter. I was able to get an early look of the new stadium because they had a meet your seat event. It was awesome to go from the locker, supporter section, and premium. Now that the season has started. It has been totally fine with traveling to a game with both public transportation and driving. Security is chill and nice. It can be a bit crowd during the break period and exiting. I might be bias as I am part of the supporter section but the Wonderwall makes the games amazing. The stadium pricing for food is equivalent as US Bank/Excel Center/Target Field, so I recommend pregaming or eating ahead of time. During game day it's cool that they do a happy hour aka two dollars off on certain food and drink. I look forward for game day and having a blast. read more

If you haven't been to a MN United game at Allianz, you are missing out an an incredible experience. I'm not a huge soccer fan, but this is some of the best live entertainment in the twin cities. The crowd and drumming stays loud the entire game and even louder when we score a goal. We had seats at the half field area and the stairs were a workout. We got a very good tip about getting their about an hour early and parking close to the Cub Foods behind the stadium. It was about $25 and within walking distance. I've heard getting in and out was tough, but this parking spot made it very easy to leave the stadium in a timely fashion. We grabbed a few beers from the Brew Hall and got chicken strips and fries and Mac and cheese from the Brew Hall Kitchen. The beers were good, but the food was not the best. The chicken strips were over deep fried and the mac and cheese was freezing cold. Even though the food was not that good, there were many other options we could've chosen from and didn't. I'm sure there are much better options, so sticking with a 5 Star rating for the overall entertainment value. read more

I was there for the first win of the MN United Football Club's first win at Allianz Field! Woooooooooo! This place is impressive! Beautifully done. So many fun eats, drinks, and shop options. For my first match ever I went on a cool Spring afternoon. It was a bit overcast so I dressed appropriately with layers and was excited to see what was what. We purchased a parking pass and rode a shuttle bus over to the field. This worked out really wonderfully! There's not much for parking around the field itself so they have designated lots and shuttles at different locations depending on the day and worked out smoothly. Arriving early so I could walk around the place. I think it was the North side where all of the action was. Food trucks, vendor tents, PK the Loon for photo ops. Lots of fun stuff to see and do while music was playing. Then I got to enter the field. It's so impressive! I walked the entire way around to see what was what. There was a line for the main shop so we slipped into one of the smaller shops so I could get a MN UFC official scarf. So many to choose from! But definitely get one before you attend a match. Makes it super fun to interact with all of the other fans. Plus they even have an app called Wonderwall you can download to learn all of the chants and songs that the fans say and sing. Makes it really fun. I definitely can't wait to go back to try all of the foods and other spots around the stadium. It's still new so it's beautiful and clean. I was super impressed that the majority of fans and season ticket holders cleaned up after themselves and even their neighbors seated by them. I never waited in line at the women's bathroom! The lines for the food and drink were typical for a busy sporting event happening on a weekend. If you get the chance to enjoy an event at this amazing place do it! Bring your scarf! read more

As an away supporter, we were sat in direct sunlight and it was a warm day but we still had so much fun! The facility is beautiful and it's brand new. Seats were comfortable, vendors were great, and there were ample members of staff that made sure people knew where their seats where, were able to find bathrooms, had assistance if they needed, etc. Check out the Brew Hall @ Allianz Field (they have their own Yelp page) it's the awesome bar that has a bunch of taps and family friendly spot that stretches the whole goal line. read more

Get yourself to a game at Allianz field! Parking unless you plan to pay for a ramp is not the easiest by the field. It is recommended to ride the light rail in. You can do this by parking along the green line and getting on. Your $2 ticket is good for there and back. It saves you having to get out of the traffic near the field as a lot of the roads get blocked or down to one way. The best featured food item is the gourmet nachos!!! Get them they are worth every penny. I went for the super spicy salsa and it did not disappoint. read more

Couldn't get close to the new Allianz soccer stadium, all roads closed and grounds fenced off. This was supposed to be the public opening and crowd control test? Most police were just standing around because there was no traffic to control: all roads and parking lots were closed. Was the "test" just to see if they could show up for a couple of hours? Once I got near the stadium all doors were blocked even though the event had officially ended (4:05 p.m.). One woman who was guarding a Brew Hall entrance opened the door, smiled at me and said, "Wellll...I'm not supposed to do this, but..."--here, she changes tact--"you'll have to go down to the other gate to get in. It's right down there, just around that corner. They want to count how many people come in." Huh?! Why indicate you'll let me in only to make me walk another 100 feet to (what turned out to be) an unsecured entrance where there was NO counting happening...only for me to circle back to her entrance in 15 seconds to find she was nowhere to be seen with people coming and going in and out freely! Come on! I get it that these volunteer and security support staffs take their jobs seriously, but take a look around and realize a) there is no game happening, it's just curiosity seekers; and b) the event had ended, the Brew Hall was not serving food, and the entrance was just that...an entrance. I tried three times to get in various open doors and was turned down twice until I just walked through an unattended GATE (with metal detectors). I assure you, my complaint is not frivolous, it's just these maddening people being overzealous for absolutely no reason. The grounds surrounding the stadium are still a mess: cyclone fencing everywhere, an ugly construction site trailer park in one corner, endless paved parking lots that were chained off, and a moldy patch of "green space" (also roped off) that I wouldn't let my dog run on without giving him an immediate shower and tetanus shot. The interior is as expected--standard stadium fare--but they wouldn't let anyone tour the VIP sections...so it was views of stadium seating and concrete steps. Yay? They didn't give out any swag or snacks, and when I asked if the Brew Hall could serve just a few chips or any last-minute snacks (at 4:10 p.m., 10 minutes "after" the event closed) waitress said No. Nice? I was feeling so glad I scaled a fence and walked across an acre of blighted wasteland to get to a place that wasn't serving snacks. If this is their idea of public relations I grieve for opening day. Even the security guard told me he was disappointed by a recent turnout for hardcore fans and investors...nobody showed up. The place is a sparse dump and not worth the experience. read more

Stadium is wonderful and I don't believe there is a bad seat in the place. It would be a great venue for some music artist. They should really advertise that you cannot take any bag or purse inside. I had a wristlet to put my big iPhone in and hell my iPhone is too big to take in according to their postage stamp guidelines. Things are expensive there. It is busy. The seat numbers and letters are ridiculously laid out and hard to locate. The police showing up for events there are really causing more chaos around the walking and lights than if they weren't there. I like that St. Paul got a major event center and will support just a little frustrated with some of the small things that I experienced and now know how to overcome. read more

The stadium is amazing, far and beyond my wildest dreams. They clearly took time and effort to get every little detail right in construction. Just about everything inside the stadium that I've been lucky enough to see and experience so far has been perfect. I even she'd a few tears walking around, five years ago in Blaine I would have never imagined I would be watching Minnesota United play in MLS in such an incredible venue. I'll upgrade this review to five stars when they replace the trash chicken tenders in the Brew Hall with real chicken and not whatever processed garbage they currently have. read more

This is a very well designed soccer stadium compared to the 4-5 I've seen across the country. There are really no "bad seats" and I've sat in 4 different sections. The atmosphere is super friendly, inclusive, and inviting. As an "away" supporter, I found the Loons supporters to be fantastic, actually engaging in conversation, and fun to be around. So why the 3-stars? 1) The obnoxiously loud announcer and music makes one feel like they're attending a WWE match. Why a stadium would drown out their own supporters chants is baffling. 2) Very average beer should not cost $13 a pint, unless you're trying to deter consumption. In which case, it's working. That said, it's worth at least a visit, even if you're not a soccer fan. Just be prepared to take public transportation, or pay $25-30 (yikes) for parking. read more
