I shop here often when staying in Coral Gables. As team carry on, I buy toiletries when I land bs checking a bag. It's an easy walk from my hotel. Before being much smaller than most Targets, they carry a variety of items including some groceries. Prices are okay. Walmart is cheaper but it's an Uber/Lyft ride. As with other Target stores they have clearance areas. So be sure to look for those. read more

Before I begin let me start off by saying that this review is based solely upon my personal experiences and my personal experiences alone, so without further explanation let's begin!. This is my second or third time visiting this store, it's currently located close by the hotel and it has all the necessities that are needed for our hotel stay and our upcoming cruise. Me personally I prefer to buy most of my toiletries while I'm out because more than likely I'll use it up before my trip is over and that less stuff I have to pack in my luggage to bring back home!. They have a clothing section to the right and straight ahead and they also have your household items in the rear of the store, electronics and device needs as well as a grocery section to the left equipped with cold food, freezer foods, and fruits and vegetables to choose from. It doesn't stop there, to top it off they also have a Starbucks inside to your right as soon as you enter the store! The prices are also reasonable, so it's a wining situation for consumers!. I would recommend and definitely return on my next visit!. read more

I buy food at this location. But for some reason they allow animals inside the store? I have asked different employees on different occasions. The management needs to realize that not everyone likes animals. I'm aware of service animals. This location let's anyone inside with their animals. Since target online is so terrible, I'm going to post this 1 star review to every target store as they don't have away to review their online store. To begin with after waiting and being denied access to their live agent for about 5 minutes, the agent eventually introduced themselves and said thank you for your patience while i review your chat with our AI. 5 minutes later nothing. I reiterate my need for a certain size curtain that my office mate bought from them. I had already explained I was having trouble with their search and was requesting the shoe me a couple products that cover my size needs. The live agent send me another link and disconnects our chat. Free easy parking for the first two hours. Otherwise a typical target department store with literally anything you'd ever need. Well spaced out and not overly busy with people. I made a quick stop at this Target on our one-night stay in Miami. We just landed from our flight from Trinidad & Tobago and needed a few things before our flight to Dubai. They had everything we needed. The store is very organized so it was easy to move around and get in and out fast. Self-check-out is the way to go when you have a few items and want to move fast. If you run into any problems at the self-check-out, just ask the attendee for help - they are always an ear-shot away. read more

Great location within walking distance to many Gables restaurants and gyms, so easy to make quick stops. Parking is ample, and this locations is always tidy. However, the selection is limited in most departments, particularly skincare and clothing. But if you're picking up basics, this is an easy stop. Maybe it's better that it's small, so there's not as much to browse. Notably, no dollar spot and a very small clearance shelf. Lastly, it's my least favorite Target in the vicinity. I'll always go to Bird Road or the new NW 7th if I have my vehicle. The CG Target is unabashedly overpriced on many items - the app will show one price, $2-3 lower than what it scans for at the register. Luckily, the staff are very accommodating if you show them the Target app with the item pulled up, and will price match...themselves. They also mislabel their items on the shelf: I experienced this on two visits, where I would grab an item and note the cost, and when it rang up, it was $3-4 dollars more. The first time it happened, I didn't have the app and snapped a picture of the item's price tag to show the cashier, who processed a return on the overpriced item and allowed me to repurchase it at the tag price. The second time, I just searched the app while other items scanned. It's frustrating and I only stop in for small purchases. read more

Love coming to my neighborhood target with my puppy - he gets so much love and attention from the staff and customers - it's his favorite store by far! I get all my essentials and sometimes I'm lucky enough to get some free samples at the Starbucks. Today I tried a strawberry macadamia frappe and a ham and cheese croissant. The self checkout area next to the Starbucks is always empty and I get all my items price matched so I end up saving $$ on my purchases! read more

This target is a sneaky little minx. You think because it's smaller, it won't entrap you like other targets. Don't be fooled - because while this is a smaller than usual location - it has everything you need. First of all, parking here is breezy af. No matter the time, you can always find a spot. The beauty section is also on point. They've got a good makeup / skincare / relaxation assortment. They also have a tiny but mighty clothing selection that is constantly rotating with new collections / holiday assortment. Last but not least they have a solid "market" where you can get essentials for a quick grocery shop or wine/beer fix. Checkout is the best, because it is self checkout. So whether you go in for something quick and leave (bless you if you can do this at target) or stumble upon things you never knew you needed ala Target's MO you can pay with ease. There's always someone at the door greeting you, which I find to be the friendliest neighborhood welcome to this Target. We love you, Target! The Gables needed this. read more

I recently moved to the area and was elated that I found a Target close to me because there wasn't one close to where I lived before. Although the prices for many of the regular items seem to be at a premium because it's Coral Gables, when I discovered they had a grocery section with organic items and most of their organic items are comparable if not cheaper than Publix and Whole Foods, this has been my store of choice for the past year. Unfortunately, though, I've noticed almost every time I buy food items, either perishable or packaged, something is wrong with it... boxed items and cans seem banged up and I even had tears in two packages of items that I only noticed when I got home. And because I've been doublechecking all the items I buy now, I happened to grab a cheese that when I lifted the cover was moldy (even though it expires in 3 months!). It's so disheartening because this has become my go-to store, but I'm getting tired of having to return food items, and food is the main reason I come here. It's kind of grossing me out. The upside is that service is always really helpful here (which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1) and I've mentioned my concerns to the manager this week. Hopefully I'll see an improvement over the next 3 months, and if so, I'll gladly update this review. Otherwise, if it doesn't improve, unfortunately I'm going to have to find a new store :( read more

Call me basic but Target trips bring me joy. I got very excited the first time I saw the signage for this new store pop up. It's in the old OfficeMax space on Ponce which is definitely smaller than other Targets I frequent, but I was optimistic. I stopped by over the weekend for an emergency trip when we ran out of essentials. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite up to par with my dreams. So yes, it's small and they try to cram A LOT in. The aisles are tiny and the configuration is a little confusing. It's definitely not a store you can wander around in for an hour plus, which is probably good for my wallet but again, not the Target experience I love. As for COVID-19 life, they were being good about ensuring everyone had masks on and were blasting messages over the loud speaker about maintaining six feet apart, although not everyone was. Since not that many people were out, finding parking in the lot behind the store was easy. There are two entrances to cater to both Ponce and the backside where the lot is. I used the self checkout kiosks which worked well and there was no line. All in all, I won't be coming here unless I'm in the area and want a quick trip. It's more like a CVS than a big Target store which is unique for the area and probably helpful for residents nearby. For me, the Bird Road Target is just as close, so I'll probably stick to that one! read more

Sorely needed in this area. There is nothing like a Target around here. This location is not the biggest but it seems well stocked. They have most anything you might need or want. I will come here when I need a few things or am looking for a cold drink. They also have a Starbucks inside so that is a plus when you need a fix. read more

I really like this Target because even though it's not very big, it has a a wide variety and selection of items. It has a small section of groceries and wine, but enough to choose from. It has everything you'd expect from a Target store. All of the employees are really friendly and helpful. When I went this morning, there was a 10% off 4 bottles of wine if you have the Target red circle card. They also have self checkout, which is very convenient. Was pretty unimpressed with this target for a number of target. I understand that it's a pandemic so that they are out of a lot of things but in general the target is pretty small and felt more like a target express if that's a thing. They only had one type of ban deodorant for example so I would have been better going to a drug store for most of my items. Their home goods items had less variety than a big lots but probably 3 times the price. As far as the measures they were taking for the pandemic I was also disappointed. They are managing how many people are in the store but their parking lot has no shade making a short wait in the middle of the day pretty bad. I've seen some stores set up makeshift shade covers over the waiting area. Also they weren't allowing any exchanges or returns and the whole reason I came was to try to exchange a co2 canister and help the environment and not overpay for co2. This policy makes no sense because I can literally go in the store and touch all the items so not accepting an exchange prevents nothing. I hate when stores adopt policies that serve no purpose but to inconvenience customers. Anyway needless to say this new target did not hit the spot. read more

I am beyond impressed with the customer service at this Target and after meeting the store manager, April, later that evening, I now understand why I had such an amazing experience earlier in the day, as well as with her. I called the store in the evening after finally getting back home from running errands, because when opening a bottle of Tums I had purchase, I noticed that the seal had already been compromised. I honestly felt there wasn't much that could be done because it might be perceived as my opening it, but nonetheless I called the store to ask if by chance it could be returned. At the least so they knew someone may be tampering with their products. That's when I spoke with April for the first time. Not only did she tell me that I could return it with no problem at all, but she was so pleasant to speak with. She showed immediate concern that I was being inconvenienced and expressed the action that she would be taking to ensure no other bottles in the store were compromised. When I made it back to the store, Alba took care of my return with no issue at all, and was also very pleasant to interact with. I then asked if I could briefly speak with April to meet the person that had left me feeling so good over the phone, and I was so impressed with her commitment to making sure each "Guest", as she calls them, had a wonderful experience when shopping at Target. She owned it from the moment we spoke until the end, and expressed so much pride in doing what she could to show her "Guests" appreciation for shopping in her store. I felt so good leaving that store that I wanted to stay longer and chat, and just enjoy the time there. I mean, honestly, what a breath of fresh air, compared to many other places, especially in Miami. Thank you April, and the Coral Gables Target Team. I like Dr. Rabeya, the pharmacist who, when I went to collect my prescription medication, that I was due to have a tetanus and diphtheria vaccine. I like Victor, the friendly man putting food on the shelves in the grocery food section of that Target Store. I also like Katarina and Liz, the nice ladies behind the cash register at the Target Store. They have a nice selection of food, clothes, household items, toiletries and over the counter medications in this small but very useful Target Store. There is also a Starbucks in the corner of this store. Everyone of the staff at this Target location is friendly, kind and helpful to clients like me. read more

Came to get some last minute essentials for backing with the kiddos. They were letting guest in the store 10 at time. While in line, they had a chart with items they didn't have. So if you were looking for items, you didn't have to waste your time. This location has only been open for a short period of time. Considering what we are are going through staff was very helpful with everything. I will be coming back for any last-minute things. read more

This is a great target: clean and very easy to get around. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the selection is VERY limited. The space is tiny, so this should really be called "neighborhood Target", like Wal-Mart does with their smaller stores, so people have the right expectation. It is a great place to get basic food items (if you don't really care about variety or about having your preferred brand and will take whatever they stock). I was excited to see a Target pop up in the area offering Coral Gables a nearby haven of all things essential. While I was aware of the smaller size this store was, I found the location such an essential addition to the neighborhood that it overcame the lack of inventory and selection that comes along with a smaller version of this favorited large conglomerate we all can relate to. For certain essentials in the household, this smaller rendition is all you need. For retail shopping purposes, it might be best to online order your items not commonly found here for easy store pick-up. Once you walk in, you quickly notice how the entire store is all within your visibility so maneuvering the aisles for quicker purchases is a plus that comes in handy when browsing isn't an option. They seem to have a little bit of everything so don't be weary of the smaller space unless you're looking for specialty items. read more

What a find! I have for sure missed this Target at least 1,000 times. It's not your typical sized Target. If I had to describe it I would say it is a convenience store size target. There is a Starbucks so you still will be able to enjoy your coffee as you peruse about. There is a grocery section and is very walkable for Gables locals. Unfortunately, I felt obligated to write a quick 1-star review for an otherwise lovely new boutique Target, and the 1 star is for a single reason. Here's my plea to Corporate and this store's evening manager: Please do not advertise both online and on your doors that you are open until 9:00 PM, when you lock the doors and turn customers away at 8:45 PM! I walked almost a mile to go there and pick up a single grocery item, only to be turned away at 8:48 PM, and told, "the registers close at 8:45." This is false advertising and false representation, and it's very inconsiderate. Please don't misunderstand, I am fully aware of what you're trying to prevent, but don't you realize that what you're doing is no less rude than the behavior of customers who stroll in one minute prior to closing time, to do a week's worth of shopping? read more

My local Target does not care about their community. I hadn't been there in weeks, but today I needed toothpaste and a few other supplies. I was shocked to see not only customers but some of their employees not wearing mask or wearing them incorrectly. I saw three people who had no masks at all. When I told them they could refuse them entry, another employee came up and said it's up to corporate. So even though the County of Coral Gables has stated you must wear a mask in public or be fined and that stores can refuse you service, this Target would rather let people without masks in to spend their money than keep the rest of us safe. I will not be back for a very long time. And that's on period! read more
