Oh how much I love Target! Due to the pandemic, they have taken many precautions to keep people safe. They have restructured their lines for the food and Starbucks. They now make you order first and the move over to pay and they keep everyone separated. They always ensure everyone wears a mask as well in the store and keep things clean. They had someone cleaning the carts with hand sanitizer. I decided to stop in just for the Starbucks and I looked through the 5 below section. I was actually quote surprised at how clean and organized it was. We also walked to the right and saw some cool items for Christmas. They had an adorable cat hit Hutch and we decided to purchase it. My cats were fighting over it! It was super cheap too. The lines were structured as well. They made sure everyone was safe and social distancing. read more

When I looked at my receipt after checking out I noticed that didn't see the 25% off the second item that I purchased. Went to customer service to get corrected and was informed that I needed to provide my phone number or download the app to receive the discount. I asked why wasn't that clearly stated and her reply was "a lot of people ask that. Check the small print". WOW another less than desirable experience at Target. Having my information shared/sold and potentially cause more spam calls isn't worth the $1.50 savings. If the agent would have provided me the savings then I would have walked away with a smile. Instead I walked away feeling like I was being played and therefore will be walking away from target as a store I'll be shopping at in the future. GOODBYE! read more

The service was horrible . I understand a change In return policies , what I dont understand is the horrible attitude attached to my experience today. the woman was rude, threw my items , twisted my words, refused to even hear anything I said after she made her mind up of the reason I was returning my sons clearly factory damaged pants, then the lower level manager said he didn't see the 5 pairs of pants all thinning at the knees. I brought in all faded and thinned starting to ware down after only 2 months of having them . He tried to say he didn't see anything and he wasn't going to return them . The two talked to me like I was a theif, all I wanted was a store credit so I could get more pants for my 6 year old . The policy when I purchased them allowed it and the current policy allows it. I was told because a few of them had stains they flat out were doing nothing and they had to get a third higher manger to admit it was factory damage . Awful just awful . If I could give a zero I would. My mother was in the store today where she experienced a panic attack. She was disregarded by employees and made to feel worse. Though there was one employee at the service desk, to which I am grateful for that coached her through the episode. Although he was ripped away by other supervising staff because he was taking too long to help someone in need. The women who took over the purchase completely disregarded her. What kind of service is that? Seeing people as a price tag rather than actual human beings. Disgusting, and frankly disappointing. I gave target the benefit of the doubt after them being in the press regarding policies and procedures though after this. Never again. I can't fathom spending time and money at a place where their workers have a blatant disregard for the human experience. Why would you expect anyone to spend money at a place where they cannot rely on staff to provide assistance when needed. Or I don't know ask if someone is ok? Maybe it's target or humanity but if I were the supervisor that is not how I would encourage my employees to preform. read more

I haven't been to this target in a long time since moving and the target I go to now is set up different. I was having trouble finding the customer service desk and I asked Jessica the supposed "door greeter" where it would be and they said "over there" and pointed at it... as I walked away I heard them mumble "read the sign" with an attitude. You may need to re-train your "door greeter" on proper customer service. read more

Always been a customer of Chesterfield Target store, but during the pandemic, I started using the parking lot pick up service, but continue to use, because life is busy, and I can save a lot of time. My order's are always ready QUICKLY! Other stores i can wait hours before my order is ready to pick up. Target is ready within 2 hours. Which helps me get things done! I've found the people always friendly and helpful, and polite. I appreciate this Target store! And basically, every Target. read more

Definitely not my favorite Target to shop at. For starters, the bathroom is never clean. Always toilet paper on the ground. Never any toilet paper in the stalls. And it's a good day when you can actually get the paper towel machine to work. The store itself is always out of products, especially sale items. Target doesn't always offer rain checks and never with the $5 gift card deals. If you find something you really need to buy or something you like, I suggest shopping on Sunday otherwise you may be out of luck. I feel like Target is the new Walmart- dirty, never has more than two registers open, fitting room is like a tornado struck nearby. Workers are hit and miss. Most don't care to help customers though. I've noticed that when you're done at the register and before you even get your receipt, the cashier is already trying to help the next customer. Very rude, if you ask me. The only reason why I still shop here is because its closer than other targets but I also don't mind driving the extra 10 minutes to a cleaner, friendlier target. I went to this Target with a group of people to find some Christmas presents. Unfortunately we weren't able to get much shopping done because we were non stop harassed by employees. We were followed around the store and asked if we needed anything at least 6 times each. When we checked out the same group of employees were at the check out, in a line, staring and watching us the whole time. I'm assuming to catch us at the doors. I'm not sure why they decided that we were suspicious, a big group of people probably isn't ideal if you're trying to steal from a business and be inconspicuous. Not only is it incredibly uncomfortable to be followed around and watched while you're trying to shop, but it's also not the crew members jobs. They have an asset protection team who's job it is to prevent shoplifting. It is not the employees job or place to follow customers around. It's very unfortunate that the employees feel the need to take on this responsibility, I would hope they have better things to be doing. I guess not though. It's inappropriate and left us all feeling very frustrated, and to be honest a little sad. No one likes to be treated like a thief. read more

Do Not Register for Baby Shower - Ridiculous! I registered for my baby shower at Target due to the compliments I heard on the welcome bag and the convenience in picking it up. I stopped by Target at this location to pick up the highly publicized welcome bag and actually never received it. The customer service associate was unable to find the "barcode she needed" on the app, to sign off that I received my welcome bag. I assisted in walking through the app, not knowing what she was seeking, but trying to assist. About 15 minutes later and 3 people waiting behind me (there was 1 associate at the CS line), I suggested we reach out to a manager or ask someone else, in which she replied there was no manager. I suggested she take my information and figure it out later so I didn't have to wait and those behind me didn't have to wait, she said she still "needed the barcode". I finally said that I should just cancel my registry at Target if it was this complicated to just get the welcome bag - we reviewed my registry multiple times looking for the "barcode" so I was clearly registered - and she said "ok". I left, called the Store Manager, who answered quickly. I explained my disappointment in the experience I received and she stated she wasn't adverse in that department and she would get the that manager - to which I reminded her that the CS associate said there was no manager available. I also reminded her that it was pretty ridiculous how long I waited for the customer service associate who was not verse on how to complete her job. When she returned, she apologized for the trouble and asked me to come back into the store. I told her I had just left and did not have time, they could just mail me the welcome bag. She declined, saying they cant mail things - which is unbelievable, they mail and ship things to customers everyday. I told her I would just register on Amazon because of the hassle this has been. She said she hoped I had a better day.... I told her I hoped she had a different opportunity to provide better customer service. read more

Just left there disappointed with Tracey, a manager, very poor customer service. Went to buy a Fitbit HR that was advertised and they were sold out. Brandon (who was very helpful about many products in his department) in electronics said we could order it and to go up front. We did and the associate told us the price of 129.95.....yet the advertised price is 99.95. I explained that the ad does not specify color or size being different prices. Another associate/manager agreed with me about the DECEPTIVE ADVERTISED PRICE. I wanted the black small for 99.95 as advertised. She got Tracey who proceeded to tell us that the Macomb store might have it in stock. I asked her to call them to put on hold or we could pay for it niw and go pick it up. She said I would have to go there myself. I want them to price match whats advertised and Tracey specifically said I would have to negotiate that with those managers. Online has it available but she would not give it to me at 99.95. I asked if could substitute a different one for a price similar in savings and she said "no". She never offered any other solution. Your return policy during the stay at home order is bullshit, don't have your staff tell people that returns will be accepted till the day the order is lifted which was June 8th!!!!!! You don't stay true to that. I was 6 days behind your Return policy which your staff pointed at several times while at the store and proceeded to give me a gift card for your store I no longer wish to shop at, and she had lack of knowledge how to fix the problem. Came into this location on February 28th and was looking around in the electronics department for phone cases for a galaxy nexus. Was approached by one of the team members who was extremely helpful. I told him that I was looking to upgrade my phone within the next month and after asking what phone I was looking to upgrade to he mentioned that they had a sale on going on that exact phone. Was able to switch carriers and leave the store with my new phone that same day. Very happy with the phone, and cell carrier. I bought a smart phone in late July. It worked well until about a week ago. It keeps giving me no signal than a cc network signal for a few seconds than back to no signal. I went in to get an exchange and they refused because of the 30 days. It worked fine within the 30 days and I didn't want a refund I just wanted a replacement. The department manager refused and the store manager refused. Bye bye Target. Won't be buying things there anymore. To anyone reading this beware. read more

I shop at this store on a regular basis because the staff are very helpful and friendly, the store is consistently clean and well lit, it is easy to find the item(s) I am wanting. It is very rare that I do not find the thing I want at a very competitive price. Also the employees in their pharmacy are efficient, helpful, and kind. There have been a couple of occasions when they have gone above and beyond the service one might reasonably expect. The only thing I can say is: well done! read more

Horrible Horrible location. Worst customer service I have ever seen at a Target store. Bathrooms were filthy. I came in looking for a product that was on sale to the red card members. I found the product after being misguided by one of their team members. Stood inline and and waited to be cashed out only to be mischarged. Went to customer service to have the price corrected. Was told by the associate that I was not eligible for the price even though the advertisement stated the discounted price. Asked to speak to the general managerTracey and she was the rudest of all the employees that I dealt with. She refused to give me the stated price. I asked for a district managers number and she gave me customer service instead I spoke to customer service and they said that the managers all should have honored the sales price. So I walked back into the store and handed my phone to Tracey and she proceeded to argue with customer service and questioned them. She finally said ok to the pricing and told another manager to ring me out. She didn't even have the common courtesy to ring me out and apologize. Seriously no customer service skills at all. Seriously will never go back to that location. Horrible is an understatement. Tracey really needs a refresher in customer service and how to resolve issues. read more
