They also have lots of things I really do need. I took lots of photos so that I can think about some of the things that caught my eye. Also, the service there was first rate. I was very pleased and glad that I found the perfect desk chair before someone else bought it.

Love this place. Don't go there cuz you might buy something I want…read more I bought two Eames vintage chairs, a vintage stainless steel rolling cart so we can put stuff on it (coffee, liquor, food) and roll it around the house. I also bought two vintages designer lights and a couple pieces of glass labware to put cocktails in and put on the rolling cart to roll around the house (see above). I also bought a very cool looking gumball machine where you push down a little lever and a gumball comes out.** **I have put real gumballs and M&M peanuts in this thing and it has yet to spit out a gumball. It's pretty cool, though. OK, these guys have vintage cocktail glasses and shakers (do you see a problem here?) and more labware that I might buy. And a couple great vintage stands from a chemistry lab that has lots of clamps for test tubes. I'm trying to justify this one. My god!! They have two gigantic overhead light fixtures on rolling frames. If you live in one of those hoity-toity warehouses there is no excuse not to buy these. O, VINYL RECORDS YOU PEOPLE. SOUNDTRACK ALERT!! Endless Boogie was playing on their sound system. New favorite band. Ba-bump ba-bump ba-bump (Jaws) they are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from about noon on.

However, when we got home and put the sectional together we realized the back wood frame on the corner piece was cracked. We immediately called the store. Lee said a new center would be shipped to the Duluth store within the week. We called him back to ask if it could just be delivered to our house since they would be passing our area( Mahtowa) and for us to go to the mall area of Duluth is a 50 mike drive one way. He wouldn't return our calls. We went to the Duluth store to pick up or center unit. Not only did we have to drive a total of 100 miles (50 one way) to get it.... We were charged $10. Not sure why. We talked to the manager of the Duluth store. He was nice but we still had to pay the $10 on top of our gas money and time. Stayaway from Ashley in North Branch!!

The Ashley Store apparently could not compete because "the item was a special order (6-8 weeks for delivery although their competition said the piece would be delivered by thanksgiving). The Ashley store employee then showed us another piece that was again offered at a cheaper price per the competitors website and was also offered with free delivery and setup. The "Ashley Store" then refused to match the competitors offer after telling us "they would match ANY online offer". Anyway, this is their loss, not ours. We have been a very good customer making multiple purchases from this store (including a kitchen set, living room set and a bedroom set) and now I guess we'll just buy from online retailers from now on. DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY SAY, Shop online before you make your decisions as there are better deals out there! We're NEVER GOING BACK GOING BACK TO ASHLEY or Furnituremart (note that they are the same company). UPDATE.... Ashley has now emailed us twice since the above review, telling us that we have items in our shopping cart and must act NOW to get the BEST deal! Sorry Ashley, you've already lost us!!!! We've literally Spent THOUSANDS of dollars at your store (verifiable), but were blown off by your salesperson and sales manager over a stinkin' $99 delivery charge and WE ARE NOW DONE WITH YOUR BS! Get real! There are online stores with better deals and if they can offer better prices on "Ashley products than the "Ashley Store" then Ashley May have MUCH LARGER PROBLEMS THAN EVAN I FIRST THOUGHT!!!

It was a Saturday morning so I made a large tumbler full of iced coffee before I hit the road. About an hour into the drive my bladder decided to go ding ding ding. I knew Milaca Unclaimed Freight was just ahead so I thought I'd stop in to use the restroom. Biggest mistake of the day! After using the restroom I decided to walk up and down the aisles. And boy did they have deals. I happened to be in the holiday home decor section and my hands were full. There was a lady standing next to me and I mentioned to her that I should have grabbed a cart. She responded with "you always grab a cart". So I went and grabbed a cart and put my selections in the basket. I kept running into her in the other aisles. And every time I saw her she was interested in what I added to the basket. She was fun, nice lady. I got stuff for the house. I got stuff for work. And I guess I started my Christmas shopping today too. The grand total was just under $200. That was an expensive rest stop. Dang coffee bladder!

Habitat for Humanity ReStore - This is heavy solid metal. It would be awesome on a fence or house. I couldn't pass it up for 20$.

There's a good variety of used and new items, along with various categories of goods.... big and small. Pricing varies as well, but you can bet your paying less than retail price. I will say, staff didn't seem warm and friendly (ie a smile, or offer to help), but at the same no one was directly rude. I gather if you ask for help, they'd assist. I noticed by the bed frames, a sign that said they have tools to disassemble, but you had to do it yourself, which is still helpful since some places wouldn't even offer that.

We had such a GREAT time browsing, mixing/matching clothing for our concert outfits. My sister has special needs, and I feel Cheryl picked up on that pretty quickly and was very sweet about how she dealt with her and helped her out. She found her an amazing outfit that really complemented her figure and age. All in all, we had such a fabulous experience and bought A LOT of cute clothes AND accessories!! I wish it were closer I'd have such a fabulous wardrobe!! And prices I thought were right in line if not a little more affordable than I had expected for a boutique.
