I'm a semi professional Target shopper and enjoy a good Target shopping day. My recent visit was an order pickup. The ability to shop in your home or on the go and pick up your groceries/supplies/products on your way home from wherever is AMAZING! The Bessemer/McCalla Target is the best in customer service. I was able to pickup my order within 2 hours of ordering. Simply walked up to the counter, mind you, there were people in line but there were enough associates to walk up to each person and assist them. This Target has all the common things you would need. Today I went in for a few items like birthday cards and lotion. The store is well organized and clean. This is not a Super Target so don't be surprised that the food area is limited. The closest Super Target with a full grocery store is in Hoover. I love all the Targets so which ever one I am near is the one I go to. It was easy to check out - no long lines. I'll be back when I am in the area. read more

1st time to go to a Target.....will be last. Went to store on 3/15/25 to purchase a coffee maker. Bought Keurig K Duo. $199.00 was high it seemed, so I asked a employee about price matching. Was told they would handle up front. Get to check out, show young lady the same item at Walmart for 60 dollars cheaper. Was told they couldnt do that. Figured I would go thru customer service and get it handled, as storms were supposed to hit that afternoon and didnt want to be out running around. Today, I went online and now Target has same coffee maker for 149.00. Online was no help as they wanted to give refund in gift card. Never going back in store so that would not help me. Called store and spoke to Team Leader, her option was to return item to store...unused, ( was used this morning) get refund and then rebuy. If used, then replace at price on shelf. Still out the almost 50 bucks. I know me not going to store again wont hurt them, but one can hope they get repaid 10 fold on screwing folks over. read more

This is not the normal Target that I visit. There is one closer to my home. However, I venture out to this location when items are not available at my Target. I needed to finish up some Christmas shopping for my kids. The items I needed were not at my Target so I chose to do drive up at this Target. The process is the same as when I use the store that is closer to my home. I will say that this location is a bit slower when it comes to bringing the items out. read more

Some might say I'm somewhat of a Target connoisseur, so this review is really based on other Target stores in the area. Parking is plentiful and never a problem. Store itself, upon entering, doesn't look that bad. The main problem they aren't set up like any other Target in the area. When you are looking for something particular it's like you have never been in a Target before and have to look all over for what you need. Staff working the floor seems to be in avoid mode....not wanting to make eye contact...after all that could imply they care and are interested in helping out if you need anything. Not nearly the inventory of the location in Hoover. Probably a little better comparison is to the one in Alabaster (similar size and stock), but they just miss the mark here. Shelves aren't as full as they should be and items I would expect to find here I don't. Checkout staff was friendly and did as good as any other target. In a pinch this works, however I prefer the Super Targets. read more

For bargain shoppers like me, Target has a system to find clearance items in every department. I can walk into any strange Target and find isles with the yellow sales. Some of them are only $.79 off some are 70% like the thick wood plant stand I got for $9 today. I have some very nice lined drapes I purchased 12 years ago for $4 each that showed my sister my shopping method. For me I don't buy items on full price because I hate paying too much. I don't look at regular price item in Target. Then you still have to look at each individual items because some candles were 50% off and some were only 15% off. Targets are well lite, clean and scanners usually work in the store I have visited. They also have staff nearby to help you when needed. It might be six months before I step back into one, but I assure you I will review those end caps to see if there is a bargain for me. read more

This target is my fave especially since it's so close to home. I always find what i need especially in the target bulleye section (dollar spot). My only issue is that the food court is rarely tended too and often times pretty yucky. read more

I never thought I would meet a bad Target, but this is the one. There are only ever one or two checkout lines open. The majority of the time, there is no one at customer service. Lines are always extremely long. I live down the road but prefer to shop at other Target locations further away for these reasons. read more

Target sale isn't really valuable unless you can't find it at Wal-Mart. Black Friday deals are toys and vaccums.

This target doesn't have any options. Seems like their stock is never full. When I'm looking for a specific product, I can't find it. The curbside and pickup option is very convenient. I love targets clothes but the don't keep the best options at this locations. read more

I don't always go to Target. When I do I usually hit Alabaster. My wife and I were on this side of town and went in for a few things. This location is bigger than Alabaster but smaller than Hoover/ Trussville locations. The format is a bit different. I've found what I needed. The store is clean and organized and it's never as busy as a Hoover, Alabaster location. I don't grocery shop here just needed a few things for my kids, so it suited my needs. I like the ample parking and shorter lines and much smaller crowds of people. Good clearance sale on day care clothes for my daughter. I found an awesome Wu Tang shirt for her but my wife wouldn't let me get it. Found her a nice jacket on sale and plenty of play clothes at very low prices. Wife loves Starbucks so we hit that up prior to shopping and she was super happy. All of the employees seemed nice enough. I generally don't have much contact except when checking out and they were friendly enough. The Starbucks staff was also nice and served my wife promptly. For my needs a small to medium sized Target slightly off the beaten path works. read more

One dollar spot is great place to look...seasonal items, office supplies, kids toys, health and beauty and food are added to the $1.00 spot. Always look for clearance... They mark lots of stuff down. You can find out when they mark items down- like what days. target cafe and starbucks are great if you want a snack, drink, dessert, coffee, etc. People are friendly. Great brands. I wish I can give less than one star. I exit this area on my way to Texas for a quick bite. I decided to stop at Target for a personal size pizza. I stood there for a few minutes no one show up at the register to take my order. I walk around ask employees and no one was helpful. I walked to Starbucks and it looked like they were barely carrying anything. I didn't see the sandwiches I liked from Starbucks. I had to think quick because I couldn't be wasting my time on the road and ended up going to Chick-fil-A. read more

This review is really for the Starbuck's at Target. Not a great experience this morning. Had to head out of town & was running late & craving a Starbucks Americano & was hungry. No stand alone Starbucks nearby, but saw a Target & remembered they usually have a Starbucks inside so I exited the interstate and made the drive through the promenade to satisfy my craving. Ordered a grande Americano that was lukewarm & oatmeal which was really good. I lost my wallet at publix. Someone turned it In at Target...thanks for doing the right thing...I went into target As I was going to the cash registers, one of the workers up front asked me if I was missing a wallet with business card in it and I was like yeah. She proceeded to tell me someone turned it into them. I was like sweet... then she told me they cut up my stuff that morning and threw away my fossil wallet because they only hold stuff for 5 days.... I called that store 2 times and was told they didn't have a wallet (I called every business there 2 times) ...also my drivers license had my address, and my at&t business cards had my cell number and where I worked on there... no one even called me... yeah I went off... she assumed whoever put my wallet in the safe had called and didn't call herself... what business just goes and shred someone's personal stuff without trying to call them. I'm in there all the time and most of the cashiers + the pharmacy knows me... errrr I'm just pissed that they said no wallet when I called and that no one called me... oh and when I asked for the pieces that were cut up and my wallet (the trash had already been taken out) per that person. Thanks Target!!! Oh and when I asked about the cash she said there was change in there but didn't know how much and I did have some gift cards in there... so if the change was in there my gift cards could had been... (when I lost it, it had $60 and a few gift cards) but it isn't about the money there was some other things that are hard to get. I called another target and they stated that they had lost stuff in their safe for the last 2 months that they have never heard of a 5 day policy. read more
