This review is based on buying online through the Target app. I ordered myself a gaming console, a charging station, and an extra controller. I was able to do same day delivery on 2 items through Shipt and they arrived at my house in about 2 hours! My Shipt driver kept in contact with me and the Target app let me know the whereabouts of my items as well. The Target app is very user friendly and you are even able to tip your Shipt driver! they give 100% of your allotted tip to the driver, too. Very important! My other item were shipped and delivered a couple days later. Everything arrived perfectly and well packed as if I'd gone to the store myself. My favorite part of Target is the drive up pick up service. I can order something online and pick it up as soon as 45 minutes later. They say at least 2 hours ahead of time but I've never had to wait that long. When I get there they come out and my order is always correct. We had been having trouble with my elderly Dads Consumer Cellular iPhone and had made 6 calls (many lengthy) to the Consumer Cellular support line with no luck. The total time of these calls were over three hours with various diagnosis of what the service issue was in activating an e-sims card so the phone could make calls. A friend suggested we go to the Consumer Cellular kiosk at the Target in Altamonte Springs and Sebastian came to our rescue, with an assist from James. They were professional technical And even dropped my dads plan from $65 to $19 since Sebastian noted that my dad had been charged for my moms phone although she passed away in 2019. On a separate day, I came to use that coupon it was not working, the associate told me that there was no funds on it, and she kept the gift card. I went to customer care to try to get a new gift card, but they told me that they would not be able to replace it because the employee discarded the gift card. The manager Kimberly was refusing to help or offer any sort of solution. After a hiatus from shopping at Target, my wife and I have found this year the plentiful options available at this chain, especially in the home section. The Magnolia Collection area always requires a walk through by my wife. The mens clothing, the grocery options, and the $1 area (the tiny dollar store, as I call it) are just a few reasons to keep checking what Target has to offer. Self-checkout lanes are a bonus and move fairly quickly when the cashier lines back up. I have used the Target app for ordering, pick up, and using the reward $$ I've earned through other purchases, and, found it worth keeping on the limited amount of GB on my phone. At this store, the customer service has been exceptional and friendly from assisting us in ordering an item, to picking up an online order, or for aiding in finding merchandise within the store. To aid the energy in walking around the store, an in-store Starbucks provides most of the drink options - caffeinated and non-caff - available at stand-alone locations, if not all. The Style Team, in particular, is treated terribly. Hours are constantly cut, yet we're still expected to cover multiple areas of the store, often doing the work of two or three people. Management doesn't care about your well-being -- you're just another number to them, easily replaceable if you burn out or quit. They make it so easy and are super friendly, so much I've become friends with everyone that works there! They come out in a timely manner, are always polite and you are in and out! There's lots of spots and I've never seen them all filled but even if they were they are fast enough to get you out quickly. And the vets part, there's no extra fee for drive up! read more

Large variety of greeting cards, swimwear, miscellaneous items and knickknacks. Staff keep to themselves which is both a plus and a minus. It's nice to shop and not be bothered. Sometimes it's nice to simply be greeted and they move on, but that's not happened at any of my visits. The store is clean. My last visit, someone was coming around and dusting/lining up shelf items evening to to the front. Self checkout! Huge huge plus. I had 2 items this last visit and I was able to quickly scan and bag both items, pay and go. Super smooth process and they accept apple pay so I didn't even have to bother with my wallet. This target is on the smaller side like the Walmart down the street. I was happy living in this area because I had this target and a Walmart but they are both so small they should be a Neighborhood Walmart. There are not many lanes and it gets backed up fast if they do not have more than 4 lanes open. The self check was backed up a little too but started moving faster. I wish they had the Target Cafeteria though because I enjoy those slushies and popcorn. All they have is Starbucks and the line for that was in the way of trying to get out of the checkout lines. I'll definitely go back but disappointed in the size because I LOVE Target. Also funny story.. I was standing in line and then a lane opened and I followed the lady in front of me. This Target location is always busy and the parking lot can be a pain to get out of. They recently remodeled so it's clean and bright. I'm a big fan of self/checkout and these always seem to be the shortest lines. I definitely recommend getting the Target app and join Target Circle because you can get some really great discounts and coupons. And if you get their store credit card there's a discount on every purchase and if you use it for an online order your order ships free. These have saved me so much money! read more

This isn't my go to Target but it was on my way to run errands. I needed some long sleeve shirts -yay, finally a little bit of fall feeling in CF- and Target is always a great place for everyday clothes. They had a sale on the shirts but I sadly wasn't able to take advantage of it because they didn't have my size in the shirts I wanted. A little frustrating. Anyways, I can never walk into a Target without getting something, so I ended up with some La Croix water, nail polish and Christmas decor. I have several issues with this store and have addressed with management to no avail. First off, there are always some sort of team stocking shelves and blocking isles at peek times. The staff (Not sure if they work for target) are very rude and will not move out of the way to let you get something off the shelves. In fact, they act annoyed that you are even in their way. They also put things in the wrong spot just to fill an empty shelf which results in the next problem. The 2nd major issues is, 35% of the prices on the shelves are incorrect. I have had to resort to using a price checking kiosk before going to check out and in on instance where I called for a manager, the price on the shelf said an item was $4.99 but the item rang up $9.99. read more

Target is one of my favorite places ever, it's basically my second home. I go multiple times a week, every week. Literally anything I need, I go to Target. I used to go to the Super Target in Sanford (my fav by far) since I lived basically across the street from it; however, this year I moved to Altamonte so this has been my go-to Target ever since. Since moving to this side of town (in January 2020), there are some weeks when this Target has everything I need and more (cause who goes for just the stuff they're originally going for, right?-- I always leave with tons more, of course). Then there are other weeks where I can't find a single thing that I went there to buy. As of late, I find that they are almost always either low on stock or out of stock on almost everything. Granted, we are in the middle of a pandemic so I understand to a certain extent. Nonetheless, it's a little ridiculous how out of stock they are with things, even non-essential items that don't make sense being out of stock. It's been a bit of a bummer lately every time I go. With that said, they are doing great with following safety protocols and guidelines in order to ensure safety to all customers. Every time I have gone in since covid started, there are several already sanitized carts waiting for customers who are coming to just grab one and go the second they walk in the door. They have have a little station by the carts with hand sanitizer, wipes, and a little trash can. Throughout the store, all employees are wearing masks and practicing social distancing (for the most part). While making sure everything remains sanitized and safe, the employees are also still checking in with customers to help them with whatever they need in a kind and patient manner. Target is always my go-to for deals, clothing or just to run in and get something. I always can count on getting some unique things and the essentials I need. However, lately I'd say in the past year or so Target has really lower their customer service experience and the workers at this particular location are just unhappy to be at work. On more than one occasion the cashiers are very unfriendly and unhelpful when needing assistance or even just going through the check out line. Also, often times when coming to Target whether it be during the day or on the weekends, there are very few cashiers open and someone is directing customers to use the self checkout.... I mean really? Self checkout is great sometimes, but most of the time it's a hassle with using coupons or lifting and bagging items. I mean they should be paying me to use self checkout! Lol Another issue I have with this particular location is the restrooms. It's great they are located up front but the hallway leading to the restrooms is tiny! I don't know how they got away with it being that a wheelchair or stroller can barely fit of someone was passing the opposite direction. Also they just "remodeled" the cafe area, aka demoed it completely and put in a huge returns/exchanges area. I like that that have larger area for returns, but the eat-in cafe was nice to grab a fountain drink or popcorn before shopping. To conclude, I'm really just disappointed in Target. read more

This Target has the dubious distinction of being the worst in Orlando. As of late, there have been an abundance of employees restocking during the day. Their attitude ranges between indifference towards customers to downright contempt. I've read that Trader Joe's purposely has employees restocking during daytime hours in an effort to make their employees visible and accessible to customers. In a stark contrast to Trader Joe's, Target employees at this location do not greet you or attempt to move their large carts out of the way so that customers can navigate the isles and find products. One employee even darted out in front of me (after making eye contact with me first) with a cart full of of merchandise without apology. Another thing that I find extremely irritating is the lack of open check-out lanes. They usually only have one or two employees checking customers out while another employee obnoxiously and loudly attempts to persuade everyone to use their self-checkout lanes. This practices decreases the need for employees (ie cuts jobs) and increases wait-time. The best part of the Target experience is avoiding that unpleasant Wal-Mart atmosphere. This Target location is only slightly preferable and if it continues to deteriorate in terms of customer appreciation, I'll start shopping elsewhere. read more

This is a pretty decent Target to go shopping at and its super conveniently located opposite to Costco. My mum loves their pharmacy department who have gone above and beyond to make sure she gets her Meds, especially prior to her travels. I find their set-up is pretty good too and everything is well labeled and easy to find. The folks who work here are also just super nice and very friendly. I have never in the many years of shopping at Target had a bad experience until today. I met my daughter after work at the store so she could get a few items for her trip to Cuba. We went to the start of what we thought was the self check out lane. The associate "Fern" said next. As we proceeded to go to her register I noticed other people standing there talking to each other. I asked "are you in line?" They said "yes, but go ahead". I get to the associates register and she starts yelling that I just cut people in line. I advised her that I asked if they were in line and they told me to go. She then yelled "whatever!" I was so embarrassed and so upset that I did not use my Red Card to get my 5% savings I just used my checking debit card. I then realized that I forgot to use a coupon for a previous purchase and got back in line. Then a guy walks up and cuts the entire line. "Fern" the associate does not say one word to him. First off I was racially profiled and I would like to say I've never had an issue with this particular target before but now I have a huge issue and I would like to tell my story. I left work I came home my grandson was here visiting for three days so of course I wanted to buy him something and my daughter also wanted to go back to target after visiting target earlier in the day to purchase some items for her room she spent over $200 for curbside. He loves target so I wanted to take him back so as we got in the car we went into target we started shopping around for items he picked up what he wanted I was OK with what he picked out we were on FaceTime with my younger daughter because she also wanted to get him something as well and we picked up an item for him so in all we picked up three total items from the toy department we proceeded on to the grocery department or marketplace I should say. They were pretty big items that really almost didn't fit in the shopping cart but we made them work out we proceeded to the market Place area picked out some Capri Suns two boxes to be exact my daughter wanted a frozen lasagna we picked out some raspberries my grandson wanted as well and I picked up some bananas and we proceeded up towards the front of the store we needed or were looking for batteries and we couldn't find them so my daughter went up to the front and asked a lady in the makeup area where I picked up spray bleach, and asked where the batteries were and the lady on the front and it advised my daughter where the batteries were towards the back of the store so she took my grandson with her then I proceeded on looking through the children's clothing and then I went to the shoe area. I didn't stay in that area long I just wanted to see kind of what they had so I look for some shoes for me I didn't find anything I'll look for some shoes for him and didn't find any in his size that I could that he liked so we just ended up leaving the store I'm sorry heading towards the front of the store to check out the only thing open at the time because it was after nine was the self check out there was a black gentleman or I should say cashier front end manager whatever he was in a red shirt brown pants at the area helping another black gentleman check out with the self check out I had no idea what was going on maybe he just had some issues but he was helping him he was bagging some items for him and that was it I didn't really think anything about it I just left it alone so my daughter took some items that she wanted to pay for it out of the shopping cart and she started to pay for those items after my grandson was almost ran over by a white lady with the shopping cart. My daughter mentioned something to her and she kind of rolled her eyes and she just kept going I was going to say something but I left it alone because I know how I get my things like that. So has she began scanning her items no one offered any assistance or anything and they were big items so I was taking those items back and I was putting them in the shopping cart and then I was taking the items that I was going to purchase and put them on the silver part of the self check out as I started to look around I started to see more people in the store started to kind of come around and act very suspicious there were two white people that came in the back part of me and then there was two in the front neither one of them offered any assistance they never said anything to us they just basically acted as though they were doing something and having small talk as if they were watching us obviously that's exactly what they were doing so they started to watch us and kept watching us and never said anything to us so at that point I got irritated and I told my daughter take your receipt because you have paid for your items and let me pay for my items because I will have a receipt as well there were a total of 17 items in my shopping cart and they were all accounted for on my receipt after I realized what was going on I got aggravated after I started scanning my items and I kind of said something to the matter of I don't steal I'm going to pay for all of my items my purse (Marc Jacobs) cost more than what the items in my shopping cart.. read more

STARBUCKS: The Starbucks was disgusting and unacceptable. First, there were flys everywhere because of the food area door was wide open which was letting the food sit there with air getting right in with so many flys everywhere in the whole area. Secondly, the worse of all ! The worker was wearing NO GLOVES AND THE MASK WAS BELOW HER NOSE!!! the toaster was even wide open. Flys all by the area where you make drinks. Just sad. This Target gave me a panic attack. I stopped in on Saturday afternoon to get some crap for 2 parties I was attending, one a baby shower and another a 30th birthday party. I normally shop at the Target in Casselberry on 17-92. In comparison, this Target was cluttered, not updated and chaotic. At the check out lines they had 5 registers open and about 10 people in each line. It was boiling hot to boot, not sure if their ac was stuck or what. I left there feeling like I had just been to Wal Mart. Also this Target does not have any specialty food vendors (Starbucks, Pizza Hut, etc). Just their standard food counter. It's mostly because I always notice little changes this location makes to better itself. From adding in produce/meats to increasing their clothing sections to the cleanliness of the store. Put it this way...I've never been to this Target and not find what I was looking for. I usually check out with a lot of things I wasn't looking for too. :) Lastly...service is great! If you're a guy who is obsessed with graphic tees (like my man-child friend), this is definitely your place. This particular location is always clean & well stocked. Their clearance racks get a little crazy but that happens in just about every store. Last week I scored a few of the cutest sweaters & tops from their 70% clearance. Worst customer service. Gustavo in the tech department forgot to scan the activation code to my phone I bought so when I called the cellar company they told me it was blacklisted. I took the phone back and they couldn't help me cause I didn't have my id which is ridiculous cause it was there fault in the first place for all of this. I don't recommend anyone buy a phone from this target or at least when Gustavo is working!! Also management team is trash when I was upset that they could override the system they said it was my fault which it's not cause I wouldn't of even been there if Gustavo would of done his job right the first time.
