I entered this location today in hopes of finding an inexpensive razor set, only to be disappointed, I had requested assistance since I was not able to find the one that I recall seeing sometime in the past to accommodate the budget that I was searching for. After 1 associate had paged yet another associate to assist me in the Mens grooming location an associate named (Ms Paula) had taken me back over to the area inwhich I had just spent the last 30 to 45m looking. This time after explaining to her as for my budget and the set inwhich I had seen in the past she showed me a few in a lower display case that was pushed to the back that had ironically fit not only my budget but pretty much of what I had seen in the past. (Ms Paula) had not only found what I was looking for, she also took the time with me to attempt to locate (Someone / Anyone) with the display case keys to open it up. However since we were not able to get the display case open, she then took the time to check within the back stockroom for the item. After a few moments she then returned with the exact item, She not only went above and beyond to assist me, she also restored my faith in humanity that there are still a handful of people that truly believe in the meaning of Customer service. Because of associates like.(Ms Paula) I will be making a return visit to this Target location within the near future. She was a God send, Very helpful and understands what Customer Service truly is, which is hard to find within the Retail market today. A sincere "Thanks" for having an associate such as her that is willing to stop what they are doing and go the extra mile. read more

The Target was small and didn't have the items we were looking for in the end - a men's suit. On the bright side, the Starbucks inside made a good Frappuccino. This was our first time at a Target at our new address location. I browsed their shoe section but couldn't find the shoes I wanted in my size. Prices seemed high at regular pricing. I did find a summer black wide brim hat to shield me from the sun for only $10. It was $30 for an identical hat at JC Penny store in the mall. read more

The value is not the problem at this location. The staff are frustrated because it is not enough of them to help the customers on the floor. I sat in electronics for almost 30 minutes and no one was there to assist customers. Several customers just walked away for lack of help. I hope the company realizes this is not a good look with the holidays approaching. I even tried to page for help by using their paging service for customers twice (still no help). Another employee tried to call on their 2way for the employee but they wouldn't answer. This is all the more reason not to visit this Target. I see why the employees keep resigning or quitting. They are overworked with no help. The selection of items to draw customers needs to be put out in order to attract people to spend their money. I hope management re-evaluates the system in this store and makes the needed changes to benefit everyone!! read more

On 12/18/22 we stopped by here to look at some possible Christmas gifts. We discovered this place was well stocked even though Christmas is coming. The ambience in the store had a calming effect and people no matter how busy it was had the Christmas spirit. None of the fight, biting, scratching or clawing happened while we were there. I must admit I liked the options of A Pair Of Thieves options here. I honestly thought these were an exclusive Target, but I saw earlier in the day this product in another store. Oh well, Target's prices were still less expensive and better options than I saw in two other stores. Ultimately, we did not end up buying these items. The search continues, but we did enjoy this Target location. read more

First let me say that I live in DC and I travel to this VA Target because their service is the best ever! Yesterday I needed diapers for my son who is autistic. He needs a very specific type that Target carries on hand an average most of the time. I had a Sever migraine and I was trying my best to collect and pay and move my cart in and out of the store. I also suffer from extreme social anxiety and it is hard for me to be ok out and about. In the process I lost the box of diapers. My husband went today with a picture of the receipt and we showed the receipt and explained my mistake. They gave us options to get another box no issue but they ran out. So instead they refunded us. I'm a full time student and we are on a fixed income and this kindness was so wonderful to receive. Thank you from the bottom my heart and God bless this store and their dedicated team members. It is amazing, has a huge parking lot and is and a huge store. It also has a Starbucks. I also go to buy a few things and end up with a lot.

This is the closest Target near me and so far I've enjoyed my shopping visits thus far. I have found that I really enjoy coming during less busy times, which are generally when they just open or about an hour until closing. Parking would not be an issue as it's a very large parking lot, but I like being able to park much closer and not have to wait for people to pass all some me as I pull in or pull out of the parking spot. Having gone during the less busy times, my shopping experience is more relaxed and I don't feel too rushed (unless maybe I'm down to a few minutes until closing, lol). And even if I order stuff for pickup or drive up, I have had good interactions and outcomes each time. I love the convenience and it helps a lot when I have small children in tow. With this location, I feel it is comparable with many of the other Target locations I've visited. So far, they seem to be well stocked with the products and items I've needed (and/or wanted) and if I had any questions or concerns, I feel confident enough to ask the store clerks comfortably. Some have been even helpful enough to reach items on the top shelf some I lack the height to reach these myself. I will say that in some aisles, particularly the beauty section, there seems to be a lack of some makeup products. And the ones that are on the shelf look to have been tampered with which makes them unusable, unsanitary, and unpurchasable. I don't put the biggest blame on the store clerks because I notice that a lot has to do with the kinds of customers that do these kinds of things, which is inconsiderate of other customers who really intend to buy these products. This location has got their customer service area to the right of the store entrance and the classic Starbucks cafe just to the left. This place is highly accessible, especially since it is only single level. So far, we are content with our neighborhood Target. It's currently my go-to place to shop necessities and unwind from a full day. Granted, I can't grab myself some fresh Starbucks coffee within the hour of the store closing, but it's all good. read more

I visited the Hybla Valley store today at 7:30pm. There were at least 50 customers in line [another 25 in self checkout] and only 2 registers with cashiers. I happened to be in the area and needed something so I stopped at this Target location. This store is quite big and I found their selection of toddler boys clothes to be better than the location nearest me. I also found many more options for toddler eating accessories than at my nearest location. Everything was logically organized a la the typical Target. As usual, I walked out with what I needed plus about $50 worth of items I did not know I needed until seeing them. I do not find myself out this way too often, but I would stop in again if I needed something at Target and was in the area. Also of note, there's a shopping plaza across the street to grab lunch in if you work up an appetite after shopping. read more

Racist. I won't ever shop here again. A 15% discount that you never gave does not excuse the experience.

Pictures speak louder than words. The time is 9:25 p.m. The snack bar is closed for the night, and the staff have left it unattended, but the popcorn and pizza are left out. Do you think other store employees will catch up with this before the roaches find out? The store has what I need, but I am rethinking whether any of my fresh groceries are safe to eat. read more

First off, just let me say that in most cases I will take Target over Wal-Mart any day. Ok, it is pretty much the same thing, but at least Target affords me the opportunity to pretend that I am not just one of the Hoi Palloi, sweaty shoppers seeking out cheap prices. No, Target seems to be a step up from the Wal-Mart experience, and this Target has some great deals on bedding, kitchenware, and other apartment essentials. Another thing I like about this Target, unlike your average Wal-Mart, is that the staff seems a bit more willing to answer your questions. In most chain stores, the employees always seem to be rushing to take care of a long list of thing to do, but here I have rarely gotten that feeling. Finally, the best thing about this Target is that it never seems crowded, and I can always find parking. If you head to the Target on Kings Hwy, you will struggle to find a space, but not here. read more

This Target location is usually okay, but when it's bad it's really bad. Stock is usually unorganized and looks cluttered, they're commonly out of specific products I go in to find, and there is pretty much always at least a short line even when the store doesn't look busy whatsoever. Parking here used to be okay, but it's pretty bad sometimes now. I used to park on the side so there was less waiting for passing cars when I'm pulling out, but it's turned into their curbside pickup area. read more

The best customer service I have ever experienced at Target. Bashar called another target to find an item and patiently waited. Patiently because the other target left him on hold for over 20 minutes but they never answered. I was looking for a specific type of mix. This store was out but he found it at another store for me. The other store will get a much lower review. They did not seem interested in helping. Left him on hold in an infinite loop. So if you are trying to choose this Target or Springfield come to the Richmond Highway location. Avoid Springfield. Update: I called Safeway on the way over and they answered the phone and confirmed " in-stock " in about one minute. So I purchased from them. read more

I get mischarged for something basically every time I shop at any Target. Sometimes it's 5 cents, sometimes it's $2. It's ridiculous. I usually enjoy Target but today was different. I put all my purchases on the "belt" for the cashier to ring up. I was buying a half a case (sold together and covered in plastic wrap like a case of water) of I.C.E Lemonade flavor water. Usually only sold separate, but now in a convenient 12 pack. SCORE! The cashier attempted to ring the I.C.E up but it came up nothing. I get it. Somethings things aren't in the computer. I'm in no hurry. She'll figure it out. No. She flat out said "we don't sell this here. We only sell them individually." And stared at me. I said "you do. They are by the water in the back left of the store." She said, again, "Target doesn't sell them like this . Only separate." So I'm confused. Does she think I brought this in the store myself? Or did I somehow open up a 12 pack of water and replace it with I.C.E? She called over another employee who says the same thing! "We don't sell I.C.E like this. Only individually." I said "you do and there's more. There are even the other flavors sold just like this, UNDER the ones sold individually. This went on for a few minutes. Finally he hand keys the numbers from my I.C.E into his little hand held inventory device. And there it is! So she rings it up for me. No... "hey sorry about the mix up." Or "sorry both of us embarrassed you in front of all the other customers standing around." Or "sorry we were accusing you of being dishonest." Nothing. read more

Target - Too bad my review wasn't attached to this picture. Don't shop here unless you enjoy poor customer service - Department Stores Near Me - Alexandria, Virginia

This is a big Target. They had most of what we were looking for. But there were definitely some stocking issues. And at least one of the toilet paper roll bags was torn open and stolen from--yikes. Better than some other locations on account of being bigger but not one of the better-stocked locations despite its size. read more

The customer service, staff, and functionality of things was completely awful. It is VERY obvious that the employees do not want to be there, and they will take it out on you. 1. In the morning I call to ask the availability of an item. The lady who answered was barely comprehensible, which is not her fault. But she acted incredibly curt and annoyed with me when I asked her to please repeat what she said because I couldn't understand her. After an hour, she was FINALLY able to put 2 of the items on hold for me. 2. When I get to customer service to pickup my 2 items, the girl says its not there. She blatantly tells me that she doesnt know what I was told, but she, "just got there and has nothing to do with it." Uhh... ok.. great.. 3. SO, i find it on my own, on the floor. During self checkout, I use a manufacturer coupon. The scanning machine says there is an error. A team member comes over, and repeatedly yells at me AGGRESSIVELY that there is no match found and there is nothing he can do. I explain to him as calmly as I can, there is nothing on the fine print on the coupon, nor anywhere in target policy which denies me the use of this manufacturer coupon. In fact, it states on the coupon that I could choose anything of that brand.. After refusing to listen and yelling at me for 20 more min, he FINALLY calls over the manager. The manager tells me that I need to buy something $10 or preferable $20 more, but that he will push the coupon through (again, nothing about this in the fine print). Um, why are you running aggressive sales on me? You're a STORE MANAGER. 4. After an exhausting checkout process, I find that the receipt machine is broken, and my receipt printed BARELY legible.. at this point I didnt even want to bother, but seriously.. is it REALLY too much to ask for even a LEGIBLE receipt? All in all, EVERY. STEP. Of. THE. WAY I literally had to fight someone. read more

This Target is just fine. They're all pretty standard, wouldn't you say? I've lived in the area for years now and rarely ever go. Mostly I go for something in particular, but walk out with a cart full and poorer by about $150. I don't know why. It's like some Jedi mind trick and it kind of pisses me off. I mean, if you just want laundry detergent, should you be able to walk in and just buy laundry detergent? Nope. Not me. Not at Target. Any Target. I should do a marketing study and figure out how it all works. This almost never happens to me in any other store, so why here? What is so remarkable about a darn Target? This review could be for any Target, but when it come right down to it, the only difference here is location. It's nearby, fairly tidy, and offers the rather basic version. read more

Employees terrible at this location every aisle i was in they were practically hitting me with their carts full of boxes to stock the shelves without saying excuse me and act like you're the inconvenience. I have really cut down on my Target shopping since their employees don't wear masks properly and are surly when you ask them to. But today, at this Target, I was appalled. The sign said that all of the carts were sanitized, so I took one. When my shopping was complete, I checked out and handed my cart to the security guard (who held her hand out for it), and who put it at the front of the line closest to the door. No one sanitized it. When I asked her, she said there's no one doing it. I asked for the manager. The manager sanitized the cart I used, using spray and towels kept right there, but sanitized none of the others which, I am sure, were also unsanitized. The manager's excuse was that "she's having lunch right now." If Target cannot keep me safe, I will not shop there. They don't "get it." read more

I was charged a different price than what was posted on the shelf. I went to customer service for a resolution and was told "That is the price. What do you want me to do." How about correct the error, since it is clearly marked otherwise? The customer service employees then turned to one another and mumbled that I was a @#$&* The customer service person then reiterated after scanning the bar code on the item, that I was charged the correct price and there is nothing they could do. They were not at all interested in checking out my story or correcting their labeling error. I promptly took a magic marker went to the shelf that was mislabeled and physically corrected the price to reflect what I was charged, so other customers won't get duped. The people working at this Target have no customer service training, don't believe their customers or don't know how to correct a problem when it is explained quite simply to them. I felt like they just didn't care. This experience was quite the opposite of customer service. read more

This is the saddest Target I've experienced. Poorly stocked, expired items on the shelves, aisles are a mess. I've been to this store a few times because it's the closest one, but it's worth the drive to go somewhere else. During my last visit to this store, the cashier turned off her light and closed her line with people who had been in line for 10 minutes still waiting. Unacceptable. There are tons of people checking out at Walmart on a regular basis and the times I come here there are lesson people checking out and it takes three times as long. I'm taking my business to Walmart now because I literally stood there for five minutes without moving. The staff here need to be trained to go faster. They didn't appear to be talking or wasting time, they just swipe everything and bag everything very slowly. Maybe they're being more careful or meticulous? There were 8 lanes with checkers and at least 4 self checkout stations operating. Not a single person moved forward for those minutes I was standing in line. I knew it would take another 15 minutes of standing here until it was my turn and it's not worth it. I like target and the items they carry and I will continue to shop at target, but for a retail store the amount of time they are requiring their customers to stand in line is unacceptable. Please kick up your training, Target. read more

I happened to visit this Target location with my wee mate, MK. We were both on a mission to buy a specific item each, but eventually, and unfortunately, only one of us left with a purchase. I normally do prefer a Target over a Wal-Mart any day, but this location from as early on as entering it, made me feel like I was in a red version of a Wal-mart. The inside was a window-less box that just seemed grey - I respectfully refer you to my comment @ check-in. Anyway - the store condition just seemed plain, grey, sterile, life-less, dull. As we walked through, we eventually found our way to the first section. I was quickly disappointed in the selection, which was not at all what I expected to find. The selection on offer was limited, and the shelves not as well stocked as I would have expected. Maybe because this isn't a "Super" Target? (Oh, Super Target @ Southpark Meadows in Austin, TX - how do I miss thee? Let me count the ways...) As we were about to look for the next stop, MK asked a young chap about where she could find lamps, and he half-disinterestedly pointed her to head on a wee bit further and then quickly disappeared into the aisle on his way wherever he was headed. Not very friendly, really. Very quickly we moved on to the relevant section, and we at least thankfully found MK a floor lamp she was hoping to get. There was a little confusion on our part about the correct price, but nothing a near-by associate with a pricing handheld couldn't confirm. We moved across the corridor to the light bulbs, and quickly found what she would need to help her new lamp give her light. We walked on towards the tills, trying to continue with our own conversation, and made it to a register with only one customer at point of sale. It did seem to take long for the person to be sorted, and MK did not appear to be impressed with how long it was taking, but the young woman at the register then took us on. She smiled at us but was quiet, and didn't say much, but then again we were carrying on with our own chatting. She was done ringing-up MK, and that was that - we were done. This Target like many others has a Pizza Hut, and it did smell kinda good to me, but then, I don't fancy the idea of stuffing my face with overly greasy pizza right by the main doors of Wal-Mart's nicer relation. It's a convenient location, that's about it for me, and I do hope that store management can help make it a little more inviting or colourful or welcoming - it is just too sterile an environment for my liking - but again, better than your usual Wal-Mart. Meh. read more
