Fun fact: This hospital-based hotel is the template for Ronald McDonald houses. It was done first in Buffalo. The houses (now plural) are located half a block from both Buffalo General Hospital and Oishi Children's Hospital. Families can stay with their loved one if living at a distance from Buffalo, as my friend did while undergoing chemotherapy. All houses are fully ADA; staff and volunteers are very kind.

The staff in every department has made me feel so welcome and the care that I have received has been over the top. Every department in the entire building are here to take care of your every need. To all the nursing staff, PSW's, servers, cleaning, and maintenance you do an excellent and phenomenal job. I am so thankful and grateful for all the hard work you do!!!! There were at least 8 Personal Support Workers in the reception and dining areas. Two residents were asleep in their chairs. It looks more like a long term care home than an active living space. The building is beautiful and the food looked delicious, but the atmosphere was like a care home. My aunt will look elsewhere.
