Visited the office last week, and met my therapist Myles, who is really good and easy to talk with. He did a quick screen and several exams to determine I had an issue with my lumbar facet, not really muscle spasm, which caused imbalance and weakness to stand and sit long time. While applying the adequate tools and messages, I felt better immediately. After two visits, I can finally get up bed without any pain, and stand/sit longer. During my session, Myles always try to make me relax so my back can be treated correctly. He also recommended excises and explained to me how to do correctly, so the back issue can be improved at home though excuses. High recommended and I am definitely going back. One little reminder, The building is 2 floors high in the back of packing lot if you turn from Youngs road.

It's where you should go if you are in need of some help. It's where you should go if you don't mind pretending to be a devout Christian just to get some medical attention. It's sad that in the richest country on earth, it comes to this, but maybe that's how they are so rich. Make the poor basically have to beg and/or pretend, just to see a doctor. The only reason this place gets a 4 and not a 5 is because they really do throw God in your face like a doorstep bible thumper (not Bambi) on methamphetamines (and a lot of the people who come here are actually on those so my comparison works on many levels). But they helped me out when I needed it and for that I am eternally grateful. It's good that you can get healthcare for free if you really force the issue and pretend to be a Roman Catholic Jewish Muslim. So come here if you need free healthcare, or if you want to see how good your neighbours really are, or if you want to give it to your neighbours really good. This have pretty limited hours, open 2-3 days a week for just a few hours (Check the website--it's all there). All of the doctors and nurses work there on a volunteer basis. It's equally as professional as any other doctor's office I've visited, and I didn't even have to bring my wallet this time. Saw Dr. Oddo, good guy. Not only do they offer primary medical care, but they also offer vision, dental and back care, counseling and advocacy. I recommend getting there at least 30 minutes before they open because there will probably already be people lining up outside the door. While I was waiting in the lobby, a woman from Family Health Plus was calling patients in to enroll in income-based insurance coverage (so you might even walk away with a pending insurance plan!). One thing I must mention is that (based on my sole experience), if you are offended by Christianity, you might be a little turned off. There were Bible stories playing on the TV, and the nurse practitioner asked me several questions about my spiritual beliefs, followed by a nudge to read scripture daily. I'm not personally bothered by this, but it's a heads up to those who are. But in the end, it's a free health clinic. And if you're uninsured like me, you know how rare it is to find a place like this. I highly recommend it to anyone else who previously thought they had to miss out on regular doctor's visits for fear of burning a hole in the pocket.

They always verify with me if it is ok to text, mail, leave a voicemail. I appreciate that. I have been a long time patient of Evergreen and do not trust my care with anyone else. From primary care staff, specialty care staff, to pharmacy services personnel, all physicians and nurses, and all other employees including those behind the scene, I watched them grow from a small one doctor practice into an awesome large revamped multi-specialty building still treating the same community....and then even more. Although the facility appears clean, the presence of ants and cockroaches is completely unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately. I am also concerned about the unprofessional behavior I have experienced. Deanna has repeatedly spoken to me in a scolding and disrespectful manner, which is inappropriate. In addition, Ryan has failed to return my calls or respond to my concerns despite multiple attempts to contact him by phone and in person. I expect these issues to be investigated and addressed promptly. Please provide a response regarding the actions that will be taken to resolve these concerns.

I am a caregiver to my…read morefather who qualified for hospice, but because I am a single caregiver who works and has no family in town they will not help. They have no care for caregivers. That is a complete lie in their commercials. very disappointed that I could not receive help for my father because I work. I hope this changes someday because I know that there are other people out there just like me struggling to take care of a loved one alone!!!!!!!!

I wish I could add 10 stars! I thought Hospice was for people with terminal cancer. I had no idea…read morethat it was available to anyone. A few weeks back... my Grandmother was taken to Lockport Hospital to receive treatment for acute edema. She had not been well for sometime now and her condition continued to worsen. She had been living in a local nursing home. After being admitted to the hospital she was carrying more than 90 lbs of fluid on her small 4 ft 9 in frame. As a woman in her 80's, this was very serious. The hospital, following their normal protocol, was putting her through what seemed cruel and inhumane red tape. Blood pressure checks every few hours and countless attempts to draw blood leaving trails of black and blue marks. I reached out to a friend of mine who had a wonderful experience with Hospice in Wilmington, NC and they recommended calling our local office. We did and it was the best phone call we ever made. Hospice sent someone over right away to evaluate her and they determined after all the life prolonging measures the hospital was under going that she naturally would have only a few more weeks of life. This is not how we wanted her to leave. Crying in pain every day. She was admitted into Niagara Hospice the next day. I flew in the day after and saw a relaxed look on my mom's face for the first time. She walked me around the facility which looks like a beautiful hotel. The folks that work here are the kindest most caring people I have ever met. The purpose of this place is for family to be with their loved ones in a peaceful non-stressful environment. That is what this place is. They have beautiful landscaped gardens and areas to sit and reflect or gather yourself and your thoughts. The flowers are all maintained by volunteers and are exquisite! There is a coa pond and walking path with gazebos and stone paver tributes to others before us. The staff caters breakfast lunch and dinner to the family so you never need to leave. There is a conference room, a child's play room with computers and games as well as a chapel. They have a fully appointed kitchen area with couches and big screen TV. They also provide a pretty nice selection of music to take back to your room to enjoy. My Grandmother and my family found peace in a time of need from the wonderful staff at Niagara Hospice. We thank you for giving my family and my Grandmother a comforting warm environment to say goodbye and celebrate her life. We are planning her memorial tribute which will forever be etched in the stones at this facility, remembering her amazing spirit and kind soul which flies above us now on the wings of every songbird that sings there. If you are in need, please call them. They are truly there for you. If you have to give... give graciously to this worthy cause.

Dr. Brittany is great with explaining how the pain in my back is affecting other parts of my body. She also explains how to relieve that pain on my own through stretching and other daily activities. The actual adjustment time is great. She makes it easy to get you back in shape and right out the door in no time at all. The office is small but it is easy to find and there is plenty of street parking available on the street next to it. I go a couple times a month and plan to keep going to help with my back.
