I had to go to Buffalo Home Care to take my son there for orientation and to fill out paperwork…read morebecause he's supposed to be helping me around the house and getting paid for it through Buffalo Home Care. The receptionist was really nice, and she tried to help a few people who walked in the door, complaining about, not getting paid or not having enough jobs so she did her best taking care of them, which was really good. The man Nika who is taking care of us was nice, but he didn't seem a whole lot knowledgeable of what he was doing, but he did what he did and he got the job done. I saw a few employees walking around. I didn't really see them in action though doing what they do so I can't really give a whole lot of information about here.

This company has sent over Aids that are negligent and one that has stole from our house broke into rooms that they had no reason to go into to. Also every aid they've sent sits on there phone the entire time and they would make calls on there speaker phone in our house 24/7. The company lied when I confronted them about this and denied all claims from us. Discharged my mom under false pretense, I truly recommend u do not use this company for care for ur loved ones, U WILL run into bad problems with these aids employed by this company. If u run into A problem with one of the aids, do not expect to receive help or support what so ever, and u WILL run into problems with these aids idk what there hiring process is but there is no way they r doing proper background checks or proper training of there employees, one of the companys supervisors that discredited my claims is named (KEN), I told him I have 3 witnesses in the house that saw the last aid, (SUE) (she is a tall African American women around the age of 30) that was given to us, she swore out load multiple times in our house and also said racial slurs about me, she also would sit n do absolutely nothing all day and engaged on her phone 24/7, while my mother is very high risk and needs care and help. This company and people employed in it r ridiculous and impossible to work with! Disgusting company, pls do not put ur loved ones at risk!

As a Health Care provider, I would not recommend McAuley Seaton ever. My 93 year dad, who had a…read morestroke three years ago, while under the care of Catholic Health in the hospital, and is disabled as a result as well as requiring a catheter, was discharged from Mcauley Seaton Home Care because he declined Catheter change, apparently more than once. He does have dementia. When have nurses(particularly home nurses), who are presumably 'seasoned" in dealing with immobile patients with some level of dementia, become so lazy that they cannot make make a call or text the family members for help with the cath change? They just go back to their office, tell their supervisor, who obviously also cares less in terms of helping the patient, and agrees to discharge. Years ago, this would not have occurred but it does now because facilities like Catholic Health and McAuley seaton have accepted situations like this instead of training the nurse better in critical thinking in these cases. Maybe a seminar or two on working with the families of these elderly patient to assist. Maybe calling the health care proxy(me) while they are still in the house so we can offer family assistance rather than to let the old man with a lost "filter" because of a stroke, get a UTI? Maybe the Catholic health system and specfically McAuley should consider training these nurses on what to expect. Even after my dads PMD's office called McAuley and explained that we (the family) would agree to help, they continued to deny treatment. They are truly an embarrassment to the Home health Care system. Instead a computer generated response, Maybe I can get one person in administration to actually discuss how to avoid similar incompetancies in the future for our sick and disabled members of the community. Please share my comments with the Medical Director and CEO so they are aware of the quality of services they provide.
