My husband and I had to do a lap of the parking lot to find this shop hiding in plain view next to Chuck E. Cheese, but once inside it did not disappoint! When the guy behind the counter asked if we needed help, we told him what we were looking for in our next game and were not expecting the level of service he provided. He took the time to walk the table top game area with us and pointed out about a half dozen different games that he thought fit that criteria. He answered a ton of our questions as we debated one or the other and we are so happy with the selection he helped us make! (Roll Player, in case you were wondering.) I would highly recommend coming here first the next time you're looking for a new game! read more

Pros: welcoming staff; qaulity retail space; cool magic decor hanging from cieling; good selection board games; clear schedule of upcoming tournaments; right next door to another Game store (2 for 1 yay) Cons: small space; bit cluttered; no restroom; small space looks like could get crowded on magic nights There are a few board games on the wishlist and was surprised to find them at tiny magic store nested beside a huge gaming store.  Unfortunately when got to look at box and game play decided not to get it but almost bought it just because liked the store so much. Very clean space with clear signage and system for finding things. This little gem is a place I always wished for two decades ago when I lived to play magic. Alas, my current obsession is all things board games. If you are interested at all in magic the gathering you must pop into this place. read more

Just visited this place for the first time recently. I'm surprised there aren't more (glowing) reviews on Yelp. Super helpful and welcoming staff. I had a hard time finding it because my GPS took me to the B&N plaza down the road but a staff member guided me to the right place (the ChuckECheese plaza on Sharer) and helped me navigate the store when I arrived. If you're into Magic, this must be the best place to visit in Tallahassee. Personally I went for the tabletop games and left very happy. There isn't a huge space for board games but I thought there was a good selection with some super cool titles (i.e. both seasons of Pandemic Legacy, Terra Mystica, Terraforming Mars, etc.). They also host events for Magic and board game days that they advertise online. Definitely a must visit in Tallahassee if you're interesting in tabletop games. I will be back, for sure! read more
