Located at the corner of Thomasville Rd and East 7th Avenue at the convenience store near Midtown Caboose. We stopped by for a quick afternoon snack, and our tacos were absolutely stacked! The service was top notch and they offer cute little outdoor shaded picnic tables so you can save your vehicle upholstery from wearing your meal. Be sure to get them "con todo" with cheese, sour cream, cilantro, onion, street corn, and guacamole salsa. These tacos were a perfect balance of spicy heat and cool freshness. Ordering is done through a tablet, which means simple customizations aren't an option. My friend wanted a cheese quesadilla, but the system forced us to order it with meat at the same price point, which was disappointing. The food took at least 30 minutes to come out, and when it did, my chicken tacos were overly salty and drenched in liquid/grease, making the flour tortilla soggy. My taco meal came with chips and salsa but the salsa appeared to be premade from a jar like Tostitos Chunky Salsa. While I'm glad I gave it a try and respect the effort, the inability to modify orders and the extended wait time make it hard to justify a return visit, especially if you're on lunchtime and have a time constraint.

I personally ordered a grilled chicken bowl with lettuce, guacamole, pico and cheese. The food was fresh, cooked to order and tasted good. I would've loved for more chicken to be in the bowl though. Especially for a $10 bowl, I expected more than a few sprinkles of protein. My friends ordered tacos and said they were tasty. We went on a Friday and there was ample parking and plenty of seating. They were huge poblanos, stuffed with the best tasting filling and smothered in a very flavorful, spicy but not too hot red sauce. The salsa verde was not spicy hot, but the avocado salsa was. Mix the two together and you have a flavor bomb! And the pickled red onions added that extra zing . I definitely recommend this food.

The service was super friendly, the chips and salsa amazing, the tamales were some of the best I've had, and the tacos were fantastic. Th chicken tamales with green sauce were addicting. When you next come here, try these. A slight kick, but the flavor is wonderful. The red tamales were also good - nice and earthy! As for tacos, I had the following: Cabeza Taco (cow cheek), Tripa Dorado (crispy fried tripe), and Tripa Taco. Quite excellent, all around, but my favorite were the tripa tacos. I can't wait to go back, which is different from where I was when I left many years ago. This new owner is bringing some amazing flavors to Tallahassee.

But I tossed several because they were so soggy based on how the guacamole was presented. The sign also did not indicate that the tacos came with sour cream. I did not want to ask her to prepare it again so I just ate around it. I didn't get to try the Elote but I wish it was served off the cob, or at least given that option. Can't speak to the ambience since it's literally in the mall food court.

I think we could clarify some things on the menu because I ended up ordering enough food for five adults, and I was one single human in a hotel room. My overordering went to the next level. My delivery was not delayed in anyway, but they did put a lot of items in the bags and the driver struggled with getting everything to me without the bag ripping. So I would suggest they split orders that are large or heavy like that. All the food I got was fresh and delicious. I didn't actually eat all of it because as I said I grossly over ordered my favorites were the tacos and enchiladas. I do think I got shorted some queso, but I'm not really sure because I ordered something that was multiple items and I think that's what tripped me up in my ordering process
