My local friends took me here, they've been coming here over 20 years and i really enjoyed it. Authentic. Easy menu. Great portion. Great taste. Super fast service. It's cool that's it's a drive through too. I opted for no chile (unlike my friends) but the salsa that came on the side was perfect for adding spice as desired. Also, the horchata was SUPER GOOD. Really sweet though. Good price , my vegetarian burrito was $11 read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I have been going to this restaurant for almost 2 years and I think their food is really good. Today's visit was disappointing.. I went for lunch today and noticed when I paid CASH for 2 enchilada dinners there is a sign at the drive thru that says "If you pay Cash, you will receive a 3.99% discount". I paid Cash and asked the man at the register about it and he brushed me off, so I asked to speak to the manager, another man came to the counter and he said "I don't make the rules and can't honor the sign". I let him know I am a frequent customer and he still brushed me off and walked away from the window. Talk about HORRIBLE customer service, not even aware of the signs posted and NO attempt to honor it!!!! In any establishment where there is signage that indicates a sale, etc the establishment will honor it. NOT THIS PLACE. So I will kindly take my business elsewhere. Its so disappointing these people with titles such as "Managers" don't know the first thing about customer service. Mind you we, the customers, are the ones paying their bills. Good thing there are many Mexican food establishments in the area. read more

I just left from here about 4 min ago and my husband and I ordered a burrito with guacamole and sour cream on the side because of allergies that my husband has. I was told by the young man at the drive through that they can do that. However we can order extra sour cream on the side but we can't get it taken out of the burrito. It didn't make sense and when I asked him why he could give me an exact answer ; So I asked him how is the food prepared. Again he could tell me. So at this point I realized they didn't want to serve me so now I'm at LOS DOS Hermanos... Taqueria Senaida's doesn't want to serve people of African decent be aware!!! read more

First off, just don't go. $35 for a super burrito and two bean, rice, and cheese burritos. That's insane. All burritos had like no rice. You don't get free chips. Not very flavorful. This is sad because it used to be one of my husbands favorite places to stop. Service was fine, but you will want to get it to go unless you want to sit in your car. We sadly won't be back. read more

The food is always so good here, really love their burritos and tacos! Service is not the best, they never really do the whole "pleasantries" thing, but i'm such a sucker for the food lol. the drive thru also helps w the convenience of coming here it's usually really fast. overall i recommend this place but don't always expect pleasant conversations. they come up to your car and take your order then walk away when you say "that'll be it" without another word haha. read more

Not sure what the hype is about. Everything somehow lacked seasoning. They didn't have cabeza, birria tacos, or salsa verde. The tacos were soggy. The "guac" was more like a green sour cream sauce -- doesn't taste like fresh guac/avocado. The main upside to this place might be that you don't have to get out of your car to order. read more

Been going here since the 70's. It has went downhill. Burritos are tasteless, orders are wrong although they do make it right but you have to go back there to get the right order. These used to be the best burritos in the area. read more

Stop by Senadia to get a couple of burritos. They are delicious. I've been coming here since 1980. It's just good.

Been going here forever. The last 4 times or more that we went, they have been super skimpy on the food. It's not like they are cheap that you might expect skimpy. We went last night and yet again way too skimpy. I ordered a super burrito. The size of a child size burrito. Literally had five pieces of meat(i counted them, a teaspoon of guacamole,I cudnt see or taste the cheese. Even the beans and rice was barely there( the cheapest cost items!!). A bag of chips smaller than a ziplock bag was $5!!!!. Nope, never again going here. Im done!! read more

Really enjoyed the burrito from this place. This spot opens at 10:00am and 5 minutes before opening they already had a few cars lined up on the drive thru. It's important to note that they only take cash. Looking forward to the next time I'm in the area and grabbing a burrito from here again. read more

Just rude. Service was so bad specifically asked for plain tacos then the guy at the register drive thru window kept insisting I add guacamole to it we said no maybe on the side the guy said if I put it on the side have to charge extra but if I put it on there no charge so we said no thank you then the guy kept bugging about adding it after nicely saying no multiple times then trying to charge us more it made no sense at all. Never had this issue before anywhere else. They don't have much of a salsa option only a regular almost pico de gallo one. read more

Senaidas was one of our Go To spots for a burrito since moving to Hayward from San Francisco 39 years ago. Despite the occasional long lines and Cashiers lack of social skills iykyk , The quality and flavors were always consistent. Not anymore. Yesterday we ordered 3 burritos. A super Chicken, baby carnitas and a regular Shrimp burrito. All were dry lacking flavor and hardly any beans. We all ate less than half then tossed them. It's been hit and miss for a while. Not going back. read more

We went here a lot back then, the burritos were great. I was craving for some good burritos today so, went there and ordered 2 beef super burritos. When I got home and ate it, it tasted like a bean burrito because, I was wondering "Where's the BEEF?". There was barely any beef in the super burritos and I've paid too much. I guess it's time to move on and goodbye Taqueria. You lost a great customer. read more

Food is still as fire as it was when I was 16 and Im now 29. People saying its quality went down but I disagree entirely. Add their Jalapeño salsa to everything!!! Been over 15 years since I been here. No fireworks back then of it..... Wanted to retry and see what the hype is from locals. Best thing is the drive thru and I had a cool worker behind the counter. Happy Burrito Carne Asada was a soggy tortilla , dry grainy meat and not much filling . If I'm not mistaken I tasted Cheddar Cheese inside? Yea definitely change that cheese. The locals hype and recommend this place so continue to enjoy it . read more

Senaida's has the best burritos. Been going here for years and the burritos always hit. Service is always good and it's a drive though.

I came here after years and still horrible I want to start by saying that i ordered two steak tacos the steak tacos come with guacamole i politely said everything on the side they guy taking the order said i can't do that i was like why if the taco comes with it just put it on the side he said no because that will require a container for the guacamole!!!!! What !!!!! I said whatever forget it drive thru takes forever and the food is very OILY OVERPRICED AND SERVICE WAS RIDICULOUS their rules make absolutely nooooo sense never again read more

I've been coming to place since the early 80's and it has always been great! The food is delicious and the service is great. This has been a go to burrito place for 30+ years. Visiting family we swing by early on a Saturday morning and as usual cars on line early. I have always had the happy burrito and the flavor was as always great. Orchata is good and it's always fun as they will put tomatoes in there which is something you don't expect in a burrito but here it works. I have said in other reviews that Hayward has such a wide variety of Mexican food spots and if you are from here everyone has their favorites, this is definitely one of mine. Same family that has been running it since I used to go to Tennyson High so sitting there in the one of two wood benches with the drive through full is always a deja vu moment of years past. read more

Taqueria Senaida's - Super nachos with carnitas and no beans or guacamole. - Mexican Near Me - Hayward, California

This is another review where I feel like I should let folks know: I'm a vegetarian. Which means I'm penning this review based on my experience eating a rice, bean and cheese Baby Burrito. But in the beginning, I was ignorant. I let my better half hype me up about Senaida's and I saw that packed drive-thru and got hopeful. But when our burritos arrived, my cheese wasn't melted and it was mostly refried beans and cold shredded cheese with little rice to be found. Again, I don't eat meat so it's totally possible that someone going there for some carne would have a different experience. The staff we interacted with (dude who took our order on a tablet as we sat in the drive-thru and the cashier who passed us our food from the window) were all kind and efficient. But the burrito just didn't do it for me. Also, maybe I'm crazy but $1.60 for an extra salsa seems hella steep. read more

4 1/2 stars for sure. So, a Mexican Drive Thru restaurant. You know this isn't a healthy place :), but it does taste good. I don't frequent often, but when I'm in the mood for nachos, this is my go-to place. Sometimes when it gets crowded, an order taker will walk out to the car to take your order. The nachos aren't like the movie/ballgame nachos with that fake cheese sauce. Although it does have a fake guacamole sauce, which is my FAVE! So the tortilla chips are layered with beans and cheese and tossed in a toaster oven/oven. Since I usually get mine with Carnitas, the Carnitas is then place on top of the cheese and the mouthwatering guacamole-ish sauce is placed on top. They have a really good hot sauce that is great too. A couple other items that I've tried, that are definitely a HIT are the crunchy beef taco and the Happy Burrito, with Carnitas of course. read more

Service is very bad, and the prices do NOT match the food quality. There are so many great tacos in Hayward. This is not one of them.

Food was terrible and price unbelievable! Went there before was ok not great but ok so today was close by them so stopped to get some food . Chilli Reanos was pack with sauce but did not taste like Chilli Reanos and the green chilli was all smashed up ! Boritos had hardly any meat and wasn't what I ordered. Gave them another chance BUT this was the last time for me . Not worth my hard earned money at all read more

Very good burritos. Always are a quick with making the food and friendly. I would recommend them.

This place is drive through only. They have an outside table where you can park and eat after going through the drive through but a very small area. The service is so friendly and casual. The food is pretty good. Salsa is tasty but could use a little more heat. It's not spicy at all. We ordered a shredded chicken happy burrito, Asada super nachos, and crispy chicken taco. Nice good portions and the burrito and nachos was enough for two meals. Cheap, tasty food for a quick meal. read more

Amazing foood great service ! Family business ! Very friendly super easy to just drive right thru and get what you need then off ya go

I usually don't like leaving negative reviews, but I feel like this one is important to share. I went to Senaida's and ordered a tamal. As I was chewing, I felt something hard and when I checked, it was a small piece of metal, similar to a staple but straight. It honestly scared me because if I hadn't noticed, it could have caused serious harm. I understand mistakes can happen in kitchens, but this one could have been dangerous. I hope management takes this seriously and checks their preparation process to make sure this doesn't happen again. read more

I've been a lifelong fan of Senaidas, but it's hit or miss. Having a rock should be 1 star immediately, but I've been going here for decades and usually have a solid experience. "Guacamole" is terrible, consistency is that of liquid and watery sour cream. Aguas Frescas are good. Burritos are ok. They have false advertising in prices. The menu says one thing but when you pay it's a much higher cost. When you speak up, they basically say oh well. So disappointed in this place - puts a shame to Mexican food. read more

I love coming to Senaidas! My family and I live in the Fresno area but have family in Hayward. I'm from Hayward myself. Every time I go to Hayward, I have to have Seniada's falutas de pollo! They are so delicious. The tortilla is nice and crispy and I love how well they fill the tortilla with chicken. The salsas are so great , they made the falutas taste 10x better. My family and I always go when we are in Hayward. It's been there for as long as I can remember. The service is always good here. read more

Yo I always wondered why this place was hella crowded and blocking hella traffic. There's a reason because this place smacks. Ever since moving into the area, people have told me that this place claps your taste buds and got your lips smacking. This time I actually left a review because why not. There's hella parking, but people are hella lazy and use the drive through. Honestly just park behind the shop and wait at the window. It's hella easier and you don't waste gas. I've had the torts, fries and the burritos they all smack. read more

I ordered a Super chicken burrito and it was not Super, and only 3 little pieces of chicken. I am big fan of Senaida's, Do Better

Drove down Tennyson one day and saw a line of cars backed up onto the main road at this place. My boyfriend and I decided to try it a few weeks later. There was no line (week day), but someone comes out to take your order on an ipad and by the time you get to the window, it's pretty much ready. There was a Cash Only sign taped there, but they accept credit card. I got 4 of their soft tacos (2 carne asada and 2 al pastor) and thought they were a bit on the high side ($3.50 each). The tortilla was definitely soft...kind of wish they crisped it up A TEENY BIT. Meats were good and well-seasoned. I would probably pass on the Al Pastor next time though. My boyfriend got the Happy Burrito and we're still stumped as to what makes it different from the Super Burrito as they both have the same ingredients listed on the menu lol. Also, not sure what it was, but he ended up drinking his burrito. Something inside was very saucy or watery. I guess a first time for everything lol. read more
