Food is good. Portions are on the smaller side but the prices are decent. Fast and friendly service. Very clean.

My go to. Service is excellent, owners and family are very friendly and informative. Clean accommodation. Love the shrimp super burrito! Always a great experience! read more

This coming from former employees... 3 friends of mine... they have said that the lady(owner) doesn't allow the leftovers get thrown away after customers leave à good amount if rice or beans on the plate. This is NOT sanitary or legal. Owner tell her employees to scrape off the leftovers into the pot or pan. I will never eat there if it was the only restaurant in town read more

Tacos were good and service was great. We'd go back when we drive through Waterford again.

i've been going her for years. Food has always been ok, know prices are higher and portions are smaller. Now they're charging to take your card. I don't pay to pay and you shouldn't either. Plus it is illegal in Ca to charge to take your ATM card. I'm sure they will be fined soon. read more

Before I get to the food, I've gotta say the service is always top notch. We're pretty picky with what we want and dont want on our orders and they always get it right. The asada fries are so good and the carne asada nachos are my favorite. Carne asada nachos is my usual. Almost forgot, the chips and salsa are also really good. The chips are always fresh and crispy. The salsa is mild and the perfect consistency, not too thick or thin. The restaurant is a little on the small side so if you're coming with a big group you may not all fit but we've always been lucky I guess. It's small but always clean and you can smell the food cooking in the kitchen. Yum. Waterford is lucky to have a place like this. They've been here quite a while and I hope they're here for a long, long, time. read more

Amazing all around! Had a party of 50 people catered with Taqueria Castillo's food. The service when ordering the food was great, and day of pickup they loaded the back on my car with the food for me, fantastic service all around! And soo much delicious food for an extremely reasonable price! Will definitely continue to give them my business in the future! read more

This place has gone DOWNHILL!!! The last 3 times I have been there, the food quality has been very poor. Food is barely warm, and the shredded pork is VERY TOUGH!!! What a waste of money. read more

I visited this restaurant in Waterford, CA a few years ago, so maybe things have changed since. I recall it being a very simple looking restaurant. The food was okay, nothing special that I can remember. I was there for a business meeting, therefore I remember the quiet atmosphere in which we were able to discuss our meeting topics without being drowned by the ambient noise you normally hear at a busy restaurant. They could use some sprucing up of the place to make it more warm and welcoming. read more

Definitely don't order over the phone. You'll never find your order. you'll get a surprise. This place sure isn't what it was years ago. Lost my business read more

I probably order twice here and feel that the food is made pretty sloppy & half ass and ingredients are not fresh , I've gotten nachos and they use the watery chicken so in about 5 minutes into your nachos all the chips will be soggy and wet and there will be juice from the chicken all over the container, then I got asada tacos took them 2 minutes to make the radish taste like 2 days old had like a poisoning taste to it,i instantly spit that out and my lemon was super old and soggy gross like if it was already used ,they use salsa for the chips for your tacos "not Mexican to me"and the asada had a lot of fat, bland taste to it, not really grilled more like boiled in a pan, you can probably get better tacos at the taco truck for sure Mexican food for white people tho that never had real Mexican food in their life out the town,, read more

Love this place best date night on Thursday night! Friendly fast and delicious. They get my vote every time!

Love this place. The food is great and the service is amazing. They have the best shrimp burritos and their Camerones ala Diabla sauce is amazing!. I've had the breakfast burritos as well, both the linguiça and ham.. both very good and a good price. The wet burritos with green sauce are very good as well. I would easy give this place 5 stars but for two things. 1) they do not heat up the tortillas for their "taco truck" tacos and 2) they don't open for breakfast until 9am. read more

Hands down best restaurant in town. Great food and service for a very reasonable price. About the only thing you can look forward when visiting Waterford is their awesome Mexican food! Always busy and filled with locals. Call ahead to save on time or dine in. You won't be disappointed. read more

The food would've been decent, if it had been warm. Main reason for the low review is the cleanliness of the restaurant. There were several tables dirty(so many i cleaned one myself to sit down) and only maybe 4 people eating in. There were flies all over, it was super stuffy and kinda smelled weird. They called our number to pick up our own food also...not a problem if you're busy, but with at least 5 employees in the back with no other customers waiting on food, tables needing to be cleared and a filthy restaurant it's a problem to me. With all the positive reviews and how often I drive by here I'm tempted to try again. Maybe I caught them on a bad day? read more
