Portions are the perfect big size. Theres a chip bar where you can get chips, multiple salsas, picked jalapenos & carrots and pico de gallo. The Quesabirria's always leave me full and taking some home. Service is going up to a counter and they give you a little device that beeps when your food is ready. We came on a Saturday night and it was busy but not overly busy, which was nice. I started the evening with their regular house margarita, which was a bit too sour for my liking so our waitress suggested ordering a flavored margarita to add sweetness. I went out of the box and ordered their hibiscus margarita and WOW I'm coming back for more!! We were disappointed in their house salsa, but we did order a ceviche appetizer which was very fresh tasting. I really appreciated all the very fresh vegetables in the ceviche. My husband ordered the steak fajitas- amazing! I ordered the veggie enchiladas on flour tortillas- amazing! I appreciated how they have a side of carne asada that you can order. It was perfect for our young son who wanted steak. Our son also appreciated the Jarritos flavored sodas. Lastly, we were disappointed in the fried ice cream as it didn't have much flavor and the melted caramel it came with tasted like goat cheese. The chips were gold, house made, the yellow sauce was definitely good, would probably be great on fish tacos, but the medium red was what I preferred with chips. Lunch arrived with the obligatory "hot plate" warning meaning it had bern in the oven. As always, I started by trying the rice and beans, v both were good enough I nearly finished them before even trying the Chili Verde. What was interesting here was I wanted to use the larger than average sized corn tortillas to get every bit of the verde sauce off the plate! Something, we were too busy talking to tell, was different. I don't ever remember wanting to sop all the sauce up with the tortillas before!
