My bf has been raving about this place so I was delighted when he brought us Tapicozza for dinner. I live in the city and my bf was nearby this place for his work so surprised me with takeout. He came home with: Chips & salsa- salsa was homemade, so fresh and delicious! The chips were super greasy and I think twice fried bc of the dripping grease. Calzone: this was huge and did not look anything like the one on the menu. We got it with two toppings of pepperoni and onion. It wasn't bad but we will be sticking with tacos. 4 Tacos: steak, chicken, shrimp, and chorizo. We loved all of them. The sauces that come with it is delicious too!! Horchata: delicious!! They also have pizza and wings on the menu too!

Delicious Mexican food with wonderful service. They've got good deals daily, so check-out the sign on the window as you're walking in. I got three tacos, all with onions and cilantro. The steak was by far my favorite. Deliciously marinated in a double-wrapped corn tortilla. I liked the pastor one next with the hit of citrus, and the carnitas were still good, just my least favorite of the three. I sometimes work nearby, so this will definitely become one of my favorite places to duck into for a quick lunch!

Wings was fire, but the calzone was uncooked dough had me bc I do not like it like that so I'm not sure if mine was just under Baked or it really comes like that. Burrito and steak fajita was a hit also

Tapicozza has the incredible combination of tacos and pizza under one roof! Tucked away in an old strip with other Hispanic storefronts, it's easy to miss driving by. We tried a variety of steak, pastor and grilled shrimp tacos. They were all seasoned very well and super flavorful! It came with four different sauces, the regular red and green as well as an creamy orange and green (Chitpole and Cilantro?) sauces, and all of them were great! Of the three, the steak meat was slightly dry by itself, but not very noticeable with the sauces. Very solid and authentic.

Wow! Such delicious Tacos, Tostadas, Horchata, Chalupas, and Chips and Guac (seriously, the guacamole is next level). The lady who has worked the register all 3 times I've been in is so friendly. The food is fresh made, the flavors are great, and the prices are reasonable. The horchata was well balanced and not too sweet and the portions of everything have been generous. I really like this place and can't wait to come back more! Highly recommend.

Thin, square-cut, and baked well-done, the pie showcases a crisp, structurally sound crust with just enough char to add bitterness and depth without overpowering the bite. The pepperoni is assertive and well-distributed, releasing savory oils that mingle with a bright, balanced tomato sauce and evenly browned cheese. Each slice holds its integrity--no flop, no excess grease--allowing the quality of the ingredients to remain front and center. The restraint here is intentional; nothing feels overworked or gratuitous. Kim's Uncle keeps the operation deliberately narrow: one pizza size, phone-in ordering only, and a clear commitment to execution over expansion. The result is a confident, old-school tavern pie that respects tradition while delivering precision. For those who appreciate classic Chicago pizza done thoughtfully and without compromise, this is essential. 9/10.

There's plenty of parking in the lot just north of the restaurant, and when I stepped out of my car and into the chilly January air, it was like a religious experience - the smell, THAT GOOD SMELL, the smell you smell when you know you're about to have some truly tremendous pizza. Inside is little more than a counter, a couple of booths, and a stool to sit on and wait, and it couldn't be any more charming. The pizza box stole my heart too, not your average boot of Italy here. I don't know that I would do the hot soppressata over regular pepperoni (could just be that I don't like it as much, but I wanted to try), otherwise this was delicious. Lovely, crispy, caramelized edges, just divine.

Knew the menu top to bottom, answered every question without hesitation, and gave great recommendations. I started with the Spicy Mango Not-A-Rita mocktail. Wow. Every sip had mango, lime, and the Tajín rim tied it all together. Super fresh and a little spicy. For the main, I couldn't look past the Carne, filetto alla Rossini. 8 oz Black Angus filet, ordered medium. When it came out, it was charred on the outside, super juicy and tender. The flavors were insane. Beef, mushrooms, sauce, all working together. The edges had this crispy texture, and every bite had a smoky note. Straight up heaven. The only downside, it leaned more rare than medium, so I didn't finish it. Still, that first bite? Totally worth it.

We are so glad we did! Because the cheese was perfectly gooey without being overwhelming paired with a delicious tomato sauce atop a complimentary crust with just the right amount of give to it. This may be the only thin crust pizza I would continue to get. The pan pizza was basically just the thin crust pizza with a lip on the perimeter and more cheese. This pizza was not nearly as good as the thin crust because if I'm going to eat a non-thin crust pizza, I want a more doughy crust and this just did not deliver. There was also too much cheese and it wasn't charred the same way the thin crust was. The inside is quaint with hats from all over everywhere. Service is also very kind and as quick as they can be with how busy it is. My only complaint is I wish they had a vegetable side dish that was fried, but it's a local pizza shop and perhaps not the right audience for this.

While I have sampled and tried many iterations of the deep dish pizza over the years, Giordano's is the classic...maybe not the best, but definitely the most classic of deep dish pizzas in my opinion. For this visit, I bellied up to the bar, grabbed a signature cocktail and went all in for my dinner. I started with an order of the cheese bread and followed up with a personal pepperoni deep dish. The cocktail, Windy City Punch, was okay. Nothing special, but it hit the spot and was a solid drink to wash down the pizza with. Food wise, the deep dish was great. Personal pizza was a tad smaller than expected, but it was just enough. The pizza itself was tasty, just what I was after! While the pie was good, the cheese bread was disappointing. First, they either gave me the wrong bread, forgot the cheese or need to rebrand the dish. It was lacking cheese and was pretty lackluster for a starter. Service was okay at the bar. The bartender was friendly and helpful, but was also doubling as a waitress on the floor, so she was not around most of my meal. Overall, decent visit to Giordano's. Always nice to get a deep dish when in the Chicagoland area!
