Always excited for tacos. But this place was a bit of a disappointment. The meat, ive tried 4 kinds was bland. The balbacoa, tripe, lengua, and steak. I did like how crunchy the tripe was cooked. I wish the food was better. Didnt like the horchata that much either. I dont think i will be going back to this place. Service waa great tho. Place is big and spacious.
Stopped here for a late lunch. It was not crowded so there were many open tables. I was allowed to sit wherever I liked. I passed many available tables because they had not been cleaned. (There was only one person serving so she was probably busy.) I ordered the chicken enchilada plate and a steak taco. The chicken enchilada plate came with 3 enchiladas, rice and beans and salad. It was good. The enchiladas had a lot of chicken and I liked that the salad was more than just lettuce and tomato. I ordered a steak taco just to see how the tacos were and I wasn't disappointed. It came with a nice amount of steak which was well seasoned and onions and cilantro. I also had a margarita which was very tasty with the right amount of "kick". My server was very nice and attentive. Overall, this place was a good spot to grab a decent bite to eat.
Stopped in to Super Taco Morelos because who doesn't love Mexican food? We were a group of 5 and we were the only ones there as it was nearing the end of the night. We were taken care of right away. I ordered the three taco dinner I got all steak because usually you can't go wrong with steak tacos. Unfortunately the steak was very bland. If I have to add an abundance of hot sauce to my tacos to make it taste good that's a problem. They did have horchata but I wasn't a fan of it. It had the crunchy rice bits in it and wasn't on the sweet side. l
Decided to try this Mexican restaurant in the suburbs and it's not what you would expect from a Chicago Mexican restaurant. The menu looked good but that was the extent of that. The carne asada had no flavor to it and the hot sauce's didn't help. The hot sauces were not spicy at all. They served chips and salsa but they do charge an extra $5 for a refill. We ordered the taco plate that comes with 3 tacos of your choice, rice and beans. We chose one chorizo which was good and had plenty of meat. It came with onions and cilantro. The other two were carne asada which was fatty and bland. The rice and beans were not even warm. Disappointed to say the least. Service was fast and our waitress was friendly. There were only 4 people in the restaurant when we walked in. The place is nice and cozy, nice bar area, tv's on the walls, music playing but not a place I would visit again. This is the only reason I gave 3 stars. There are no fountain drinks so it's $1.50 a can drink or higher for a bottled drink. Seems service is bad everywhere since covid.
After my visit to the chiropractor. I saw this lit up sign that said Tacos. So I drove over and went inside to place an order. The lady behind the counter wasn't so friendly. But I overlooked her unpleasant facial expressions. I was hungry and ready to eat. Nice spacious and clean restaurant. There is even a nice size bar inside this place. I ordered two steak tacos for $2.50 and a size of rice for $2.00. The food wasn't bad for the money. Even though I had better tasting tacos. I wasn't disappointed with the food here. Hopefully the customer service will be a little better if I return again
Well, it isn't every day you can order a Pambazo for lunch. Actually, I have never had a pambazo in a restaurant before. For those wondering what a pambazo is, it's a sandwich, made from a bolillo (a Mexican type bread) dipped and fried in a red guajillo pepper sauce and filled with papas con chorizo topped with lettuce, sour cream, cheese, avocado, anything you want. There is a bread called pambazo, but you can use a bolillo, same delicious results. This pambazo was pretty legit, I was actually kind of surprised. It was a very good portion I got, and I had the second half for lunch the next day. Now, the salsas, I base if a Mexican restaurant is good, based on their ability to make good salsa. The salsa we got when we sat down was ok, it reminded me of a salsa made in a molcahete, with the large chunks of jalapenos. The salsas we got for our meal were fantastic! The green one was creamy and spicy, the red one was full of flavor and spicy as well. Of course, being the psycho that I am, I put both of them on my pambazo. 100% My friend had the taco dinner with ground beef and she enjoyed those too. Nothing great about ground beef tacos though. We were seated right away and the service was fast. I'll have to go there for dinner so I can get a full idea of this place. For now though, I recommend it.
So I went to this place today because it's advertised as supertacos. At that time which I thought it was super tacos and whole totally different way. I ordered a taco dinner and an extra taco it was $28 not to tell you that the lady was very distance industry special to me. I get home bit into one of the steak tacos and I found this. Chip my tooth and this is where we at I'm worried I want to talk toTaco Dinner a Lawyer tomorrow unbelievable. I cannot believe this is happening to me.Taco DinnerTaco Dinner
It is Friday at 10:00pm, I'm outside of their establishment and they are closed. Hours of operation are false.
We love this place!! The food & margaritas are fantastic. One thing always bring us back is my sweet girl Marta. She makes you feel so special. We just had my mom's 80th b day. Marta & entire staff went out of their way to help w a couple allergies, decorations & making 18 of my family members feel at home. We are a loud & crazy bunch, my mom had the best time. My mom loves Mexican food but has a garlic allergy, Marta went out of her way to make sure my mom had a full Mexican dinner. We love you guys & thank you for always make us feel special.
I hate bad reviews. Everyone has "their favorite" to compare to. This new spot has demonstrated excellent guest service. Food is consistent. And tacos are on point
We stopped for lunch on our way thru town. Salsa was a bit hot for me but honestly I'm a baby. We both got the taco dinner w 3 different tacos. It was really good. Margaritas were good too! I would recommend and would also return. Make sure you keep the chips n salsa flowing. That's the best part!!!

So expensive! A cheese quesadilla was $15 with tax. Sadly it was not good either. It had no flavor. I doused it with salt, crema and salsa. If it wasn't so pricey I would have probably not even eaten it. Such a bummer. I wish I could have those calories back. Ambiance was fine - music glitching in and out. Lots of seating. The outdoor seating area was nice and under the shade. The servers were beet friendly. read more

Online says they open at 9am. I get there at 9:30, door is locked and sign says they open at 10am. I'm a little pissed, but I wait. Try walking in again at 10:05 and lady says, "Sorry, not open, the cook is late". 2 other people were also waiting, but left read more

The pambazo was tasty. The steak tacos were a little chewy but good. The al pastor was alright not too flavorful. The salsas on the other hand were supper mild (all 3 of them) and not very flavorful. read more

This location just opened three weeks ago. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. Jennie our waitress was nice enough to go and ask the cooks what type of chilis they use for their spicy red Diablo salsa (chile de arbol). We were greeted with fresh baskets of chips and salsa. We ordered the super nachos, tacos, burrito, and torta. All were delicious with the stand out meats being the Asada and Carnitas. They had no problem adjusting to special requests for the kids (no tomatoes, lettuce etc.) Glad for this area to get a good new Mexican restaurant. Will be back! read more
