I looooooove this place!
The deco represents a Spanish tapas place well, although they are placed right in the middle of the eating area inside the shopping centre.
It is easy to miss though, as it is a bit out of the way. It is next to the Nike store (close to where the Apple store is), opposite The Body Shop.
The food is wonderful, really well done, from the basics like 'patatas bravas' or 'pan con tomate' (fried potatoes with sauces and bread with tomato) to the more complex dishes. By the way, I have not managed to find any place in London with Spanish food/tapas that can prepare even the basics well. In fact, I have not found another place that prepares 'pan con tomate' alone, so although it may sound like an easy thing to achieve it is not.
They use the best ingredients, and that can be noticed on all of their dishes. I would say that the fact that they source the best ingredients and their friendly service is a big plus. And you can ask Manuel, the manager, to suggest tapas that go well together. He will be happy to please.
The prices could be adjusted to be a bit lower, but although they may look a bit pricey (not any more than other Spanish places), you forget about the price when you taste the food.
Oh, before I finish, I should definitely recommend their 'huevos rotos' (eggs with chips and chorizo). They really are delicious. And if you feel like something sweet, try their 'chocolate con churros' (like doughnuts with melted chocolate), mmmmhhhh!!!!
I am hungry now, yummy! read more
