The epic moment was when the manager blamed me for my disappointment after paying: you should not complain (I didn't, I just answered a feedback request): it is your fault because you didn't insist. The Magret comes with a pile of fries and salad - and I would risk saying that the portions are fully American here. Good ambiance and an outdoor area for seating as well. You taste the wine at the bar before you buy - which is a nice way to not get a bottle of meh. Service is also very good. There's a deli/cave/shop attached for purchasing all sorts of Basque goodness. Would happily return for more. Recommend.

Neither of them were terrible but they could've been way better. The salad came in an adequate portion but the greens were soggy and just didn't taste fresh. Also, the service is beyond slow even for French standards. Meh.
