    I want to start out this review by saying that it's very important to understand that this review…read moreis based on the customer service I received and not any services provided. My experience started December 24th, 2020 at 10:33 a.m. . That's right, the day before Christmas. Apparently, the regular receptionist was not in. I had already checked to make sure that they were open, and it was apparent they were open as there were customers leaving as I walked in. I walked up to the register, and a lady who appeared to be in a very bad mood came up and asked how she could help me. I told her I would like to buy a gift certificate, and then she asked me how much. Before I could answer the amount I intended to spend, she asked me "how are you going to pay for this?". I informed her that I would like to pay with a credit card or my ATM. That's when she explained that she wasn't the normal cashier. I volunteered to drive to an ATM down the road to get the money for which she said "that would be very helpful". I drove up the road took out my money, came back and this time a different lady came to the register. I explained to her nicely and calmly that I would like to buy a gift certificate. This lady did not know how to process the order. I was not mad at her or rude. She simply walked to an adjacent office and explained to the lady inside that there was an order for a gift certificate, I could hear the lady say "is it that same guy?" The way she asked that question led me to believe that I somehow I had offended her. I was wearing a regular t-shirt and jogging pants, I had just showered within a half-hour, so I really can't think of anything that I said or did that would so offend her. I answered back nicely "yes, it's that same guy". I know that how I just typed that might have sounded like I was being sarcastic, but I was not. I actually said it in a friendly tone. The lady came out obviously not pleased once again, I explained that I would like to buy a gift certificate and that I have the cash this time. She asked me "how much". I told her $100. She said "fine" and took out a gift certificate wrote it out for $100. Right after I gave her the money it dawned on me to ask myself this question "why am I giving this person my money when they've treated me so poorly?" There are businesses struggling, there are people without jobs, and I just gave this lady who treated me so poorly $100. That was $100 for new business. That was $100 of total faith because I've never gone to your business before, but I simply went based on these Google reviews. Please know a lot of my Christmas day was ruined on the fact that I gave this person $100 for treating me so poorly. Once again I feel it very important to point out that this is not based on the services they provide. It's very possible that that $100 is well worth whatever service my wife chooses to use with her gift certificate. It's even possible that my wife might end up spending more money there because she may want to use more services. But there is a horrible taste in my mouth from the way that lady treated me. My wife will be going there sometime in January 2021. And afterward, I'm going to write an honest review of the services. I really hope that the service my wife receives will be considerably better than what I received. This is not a complaint about spending $100. Remember, I had planned to do that. This is a complaint about being treated extremely poorly. I also find it important to point out that the person that did this was not some young college kid that didn't know any better. A young college kid that didn't know any better, I would actually cut a little slack too They literally don't know any better. The lady that did this to me was older than me. I'm 54 years old. I know that I would never treat a customer, especially a new customer, especially during a pandemic when businesses are losing money, the way she treated me. Sorry to leave a negative review, but I really hope the person who did this (who might very well be a person in authority at the store), which is another reason to make me feel very nervous about this, gets called out on it. I also hope that she had a very bad Christmas, and I hope she has a very bad New year. The way she treats customers will probably make my wishes come true.
