The staff talk to you very openly and seem friendly enough. When I went to Perfect Beauty it was in preparation for my sisters 21st birthday party so me and my sister went together and I treated her. Even though I spent a fair bit of money I was not impressed. During a french manicure, the beautician cut my finger open and didn't apologise, this did ruin my manicure, I wont lie. I asked her for a leg wax and instead of her telling me the hairs on my legs were too short she just did it anyway, charging me for causing me pain without actually making a difference to the hairs on my legs. I went back a few days later and they wouldn't refund me the money because apparently my hairy legs weren't proof that they didn't wax my legs. My sister had her nails done and she had no complaints about that, but she also had a spraytan that was very streaky. I will not be going back.

The room was comfortable and private. Even in the dead of winter is was nice and toasty up there.. warm enuf to keep me warm while nude. The esthetician asked if I ever had a braz before (I had) and what areas I wanted done. For the sake of this review, I'll not get into details, but I told/showed her exactly where I wanted the hair removed and she affirmed that she knew what I required. She started out well, doing exactly what I told her but somewhere in the middle of the job she decided that I need more removed. She glopped a huge bit of wax, and in the end she removed about an inch past where we agreed I would not be done. When the waxing was finished she left me to my own devices to remove the left over wax bits that were left on my body... this was something I've never had to do for any other waxing I've had. Overall the facilities were great but the waxing was poor. Maybe she just wasn't used to a male client. Maybe she was having an off day, I don't know, but I'll not go back for another.

Katie who owns the salon is who does all my treatments, and she's absolutely lovely. So chatty, bubbly and easy to get along with which I think in a beautician is really important. Louise who works there too is equally as lovely! She specialises in the acrylic nails and whenever I see her doing them on someone they always look perfect and her clients always seem to leave happy! I have Katie for the Jessica Geleration file and polish which is a reasonable £22 - and last for 12-14 days! I have also had a facial with Katie (she uses Elemis products, which are beautiful, nourishing and left my skin looking flawless. I cannot wait to try another one of her treatments, next on my list is a spray tan...
