Now, I don't normally like stepping into places like this - there are a few other cuprits round here. The main reason is that it associates me with those very fake tanned, thin eyebrowed, fake manicured nail wearing girls some of whom I went to school with. And who I believe to have no other interests other than making themselves look "good." Fortunately when I popped into Tone Tan Tastic I knew it was fine. It looks classier from the outside and is slightly more expensive than the nearest place which offers the same. But trust me its worth it - I went in to use a sunbed which I do basically once or twice every winter, no more. Just to give my skin a perk up, I blame my ex flatmate who used to go to a 50p one all the time. Its friendly, efficient and easy to use in here. I also enquired about their Power Plate exercises - the Tone part. They have 20% off at the moment and it is much cheaper than the studios I went to in London, even without the offer.

Michelle is absolutely lovely and she performs an award winning french polish in record time, even throwing in a spot of nail art and diamante gems all for £7.50! This girl can work wonders with torn cuticles and she transforms your nails into beautiful works of art. What I like about MIchelle is her honesty- when I recently expressed my WAG like desire for a full set of acrylics, she point blank refused because she would not, on principle damage my healthy nails. For those whose nails are not as blessed as mine though, Sunset City will do a full set of falsies for £25 and infills for only £19. Sunset City also have a beauty therapist on site who will take care of all your grooming requirements and prices are inexpensive: an eyebrow shape is only £5 and there are a range of pamper packages which make for excellent presents. This is a tanning salon with manners, there are three lie down sunbeds and three tan cabs all stocked with goggles, hand towels, flannels, deodorants and moisturisers. Large designer department stores and self-professed "spas" may have the wow factor, but Sunset City has all the know how and talent. My life would be far duller without Michelle in it, and my nails would be lacklustre.

Great customer service and also enough tanning booths so I've never experience waiting to use any make Boulvard one of the best of it's kind in the area. This comes reasonably priced , around £3 for 10 minutes , or £16 for 60 minutes course in very convenient location just by the Moorside train stop on the main A6 road.

They is parking close by to the store but I think it is double yellow lines so unless you have a disabled badge they will be trouble. The store amazes you when you come in, with a TV, plane seats and a spaceman, they often quote Neil Armstrong with a male grooming twist. I booked an appointment and had a short wait when I arrived due to the person I booked with, just going off to the shop for a prolonged period hence I had to go to another barber. They offer you biscuits as well as hot beverages, vimto, beer and water, being coeliac I just stuck with water. My drink took quite a long while to come, having been offered it as soon as I arrived, only getting it a good time later. My barber I feel talked too much about topics that were quite irritating, he often repeated himself and treated me like I was an uneducated infant for quite a while. I spoke to him about me liking Frank Sinatra, and another barber joined in and mentioned of his love for the singer and put a few of his songs on. I feel they are trying too hard here and can seem abit irritating and struggle on service, I feel if they narrow down abit and still put effort in it would be much better, they just try to hard and can't put 110 percent into everything. My haircut took nearly an hour and was very long and after a while it got really frustrating as they were just messing around, trying to make it an experience. For £10, I espect a good haircut, I don't care if it takes 20 seconds as long as I get a fantastic haircut, I admit I had a very good haircut but this experience was draining lasting so long, and costing £10, I feel a quicker haircut would please customers more and make more money for the business. Overall, they are trying to hard and lots of minor things really make a business which really does stand out, seem poor, the only good thing about the place was the original look and my haircut, which I feel deserves for it to be 2 stars but for everything else, especially it being so drawn out and costing a city centre price for somewhere a good mile away from the city centre of CHADDERTON and a few miles from the city centre of Oldham is really not worth it. Normally, I have my haircut every 6 weeks or so however I need a haircut again, just under a month after coming here which will add to my big cost of haircuts this month after paying £10 for a long, drawn out experience here, so I am quite disappointed with Niall spending so much time on my hair and simply, not doing my hair-cut to the best of his ability. I won't be returning until the pricing is sorted out, they focus more on the minor things rather than trying so hard and can do the haircut quicker with better results. The staff here are really friendly and will explain everything if your new to the shop. The beds are kept clean and tidy and the prices are fairly decent.
