Hands down, the beat subbed shop in the north west! Sunseekers has 8 branches, Atherton being the first to open back in 2005. Just as a disclaimer, I did used to work here, so I'm slightly biased, but it also means I know the ins and outs of how they conduct their business...so get ready for a lot of comments.
This shop is open 7 days a week and open late on week nights. They operate on a computer based client record, so no need to keep hold of/remember a and written record of your sessions.
All staff are extremely well trained to recognise your Skin tone and advise the minutes you should tan accordingly. They are very very strict on tanning safety (as they should be!) and insist you take goggles with you into the rooms. If you then chose joy to wear them, then that's your problem, don't come crying back to the shop when you have cataracts!
All shops are kept to an extreme level of cleanliness rarely seen in similar kinds of shops. Each bed is hooked up to the reception desk which tells the staff when the client is on the bed, how many minutes they have left and when the bed has turned off. This then alerts them
Yang the bed needs cleaning. Once ten bed and room has been cleaned, staff can then re-set the bed so other staff members know it's been cleaned and ready to use again. I can guarantee the staff do a meticulous job of cleaning, big if you'd prefer to clean your own before and after sessions, there's cleaning fluid and tissue paper in the rooms for you to use as well.
The beds themselves are state of the art and equity with 8 music stations let bed so you can listen to your preferred music. The remotes inside the beds also allow you to turn the booster tubes down (if you don't want too much exposure) and to a just the fan sped if you get too hot.
Lastly, the Atherton branch also has a spray tan machine which had never EVER let me down! It was new from the US in 2015 and you can chose your preferred colour setting. A member of staff will guid you through how to pose to get the best coverage, but then if you forget, the machine itself guides you through the process while it sprays you! So no chance of a 'Ross from Friends' disaster! read more
