I absolutely enjoyed having them install my tankless unit. Will have them out to do the yearly maintenance flushes.

Beware of Water Heater Man and their technician Juan, as my recent experience with them was marked…read moreby their dishonesty and unethical behavior. Our gas water heater in our rental home did not work. The pan under it was full of water which prevented the heater from staying lit. Reading many good reviews here, we decided to call Juan for help and asked him to inspect it to see where the water came from. Juan said that he could not identify where the water came from, declared that the water heater was irreparably damaged, insisting it needed replacement. Initially, Juan proposed a labor-only fee of $1,600 to replace the water heater. Upon our hesitation, he flexibly adjusted the cost to $600 and eventually $500. Recognizing the urgency expressed by the tenants for a same-day replacement, Juan assured them that he could replace it immediately. Due to the tenants' pressure, we agreed with Juan to proceed with the water heater replacement. Given the straightforward nature of the task-- just to connect the pipes to the new tank, no upgrades required since it's a new construction home--Juan completed the replacement in just half an hour. Shortly after the installation, we encountered a frustrating recurrence of issues. The pan was AGAIN filled with water, as a result, the new tank did not stay lit. How come the same problem happened again with a BRAND NEW water heater? Juan retuned to reroute the discharge pipe to the drain, so it would not drip to the pan anymore. This adjustment made it evident that the problem lay not with the water heater itself but with an underlying leak issue. Subsequently, I had to seek the expertise of another plumber to unravel the ongoing issue. According to the new plumber, a leaking discharge pipe could be due to various factors, including high water pressure, high temperature, a faulty expansion tank, or a bad T&P valve. It turned out that the T&P valve was bad and the cost to replace a T&P valve was only $20. Instead of replacing a T&P valve for $20, Juan insisted that the tank needed to be replaced since it's a quick and easy job for more money. He initially asked for $1,600 for the replacement which took half an hour of labor. The worst thing was that he was not responsible for his mistake after all. It became evident that the crux of the problem wasn't the tank itself but the persistent leak. Rather than addressing the root cause and rectifying the issue, Juan opted to reroute the discharge pipe to the drain, effectively concealing any visible leakage into the pan. The leak was still there but we could not see it, it would also not drip to the pan anymore, so the water heater would light again. He did that just to cover his mistake but it does not fix the underlying issue that it was still leaking. We texted Juan multiple times and asked if it was still leaking, but he ignored our messages and calls. It shouldn't be dripping in the first place and the pipe should not have been rerouted all the way into the drain (please see the pictures). It needs an air gap. It is not safe to do that and is illegal! That drain has to be visible with an air gap so you can see if it leaks. It is a safety hazard and a code violation! He did it that way so that we could not see the problem he could not fix (or did not want to fix). We plan to report this with the State License Board. We asked if Juan had a plumbing license, but he did not answer. The fact that the leaking from the t&p valve and he stated that we needed a tank replacement is a failure for all honest plumbers. Our newer heater water should have been replaced in the first place. The fact that he covered the leak by rerouting the discharge pipe to the drain without an air gap is not safe and unethical. Also, asking for $1600 for half an hour of labor, then reduced to $600, then $500, and used tactics to push us to proceed due to tenant pressure was unethical. Stay away from this dishonest business. Check if they are actually licensed, bonded and insured.

The $69 fee on the invoice states he performed a full system evaluation, but he did not. The AC quit working 3 hours later, and I had to have them return the next day. Chandler Twyford was the second technician, when he called me, I answered and he was yelling at someone on the road as he was driving. He asked me questions about what Otha did the previous day, when I explained he got defensive and began defending Otha, which was unnecessary. Otha was short with me, and acted irritated the whole time. When I spoke to Suntech on the phone to have them come out again, she confirmed I would not be charged another $69 fee. While Chandler was here he stated my contactor and capacitor both needed to be replaced, but during Otha's full examination he never stated this. Thus, Otha did not perform a comprehensive diagnosis like the invoice says I was charged for - these would have easily been caught. I let Chandler know the office confirmed I was not to pay another $69, but he argued with me. He continued to argue, was extremely unprofessional, and was trying to control the situation by saying he'd be the one to call management when I stated I was going to call management. I would like a refund as this has been a horrible experience as a client, and Suntech did not resolve the issue/did not fix my unit, they acted like it was something else, didn't check the full system, and wanted me to pay more for the issue they didn't catch. Please do not use Suntech, I do not wish this unprofessional and waste of time experience for anyone. And now, I am still without AC during 107 degree weather.

When my system started to run hot this month in 2026, I had them come out and I was told that the coils were indeed leaking, but they only had a FIVE year manufacturer warranty. The tech admitted that when they perform the install, it is a 10-year warranty. However, they magically had no record of installing the coils in 2019, and did not even have my information in their system. I had a couple thousand dollars of work done and they had no information on me? Odd. The tech said that if I can prove they did the work, like with a bank statement, they will honor the 10-year warranty. So I provided them with my bank statement from 2019, showing they did the work, and what I paid for it. I contacted their office and spoke with multiple people who said they would look into it but they never got back to me. I finally called again, and they stated they could not honor the 10-year warranty even though I provided the proof of original service that they asked for. They then quoted me an enormous price of $3,150 to do the job, but then back-pedaled and said they could do it for just $1,900 to "help me out". What they did not tell me, but I found myself reading the detailed print on the quote sheet, is that the $1,900 price only came with only a ONE year warranty. Not ten. Not five. ONE. I made every effort to work with them and gave them every chance to make it right, but eventually I just had another company come out and give me a second quote. The other company only wanted $2,000 to do the job with a FIVE year warranty. No hassle, no over-quoting, no misleading information. I also had the other company check the manufacturer warranty status of the coils that Edmond Air installed in 2019, and they confirmed Edmond Air NEVER EVEN REGISTERED the coils with the manufacturer in the first place for a warranty. So... Edmond Air lied about the ten year warranty, had no record of the original work they did, said they would honor warranty with proof but then did not, overquoted me in an attempt to make it seem like they were helping me with a lower price later, communicated poorly throughout the whole process, and never even registered the coils with the manufacturer for warranty in the first place. All of this hassle and poor service, and on top of all of it they were much more expensive than the other local company that I reached out to anyway. I would not do business with this company.
