The service was quick and friendly. Some of the tables are too close, but given their experience during the pandemic, you can understand they need to increase their covers.
This is the second time I have had a bad experinece ordering a steak in Calpe within a week. Never had any problem in previous years.
You will see on the bill it is referred to as "Solomillo", unfortunately, I didn't translate it at the time as the menu provided it into English. They called it a fillet. When I tucked into it, fillet it was not. My wife said not to complain,a dn we ate it as best as we could, it was tough.
Solomillo, actually means sirloin, and if we'd been a bit more savvy, then we wouldn't have placed the order.
Drinks were fine. A proper wine bucket for the wine.
My daughter has been here and recommends the tapas. I don't recommend the "solomillo". €29 the sort of price I'd expect to for a fillet in a standard restaurant. read more
