Jampro is a top notch music center. It has about 6-8 sound proof rooms for individual lessons and a…read morelarge stage in the back for performances, presumably by students. The entire center is clean, spacious, and has a very friendly and welcoming staff. I've taken about 7 ukulele lessons with Hector so far and while I'm not anywhere near ready to perform on the stage in the back, I can see a noticeable improvement in the way I approach learning to play an instrument. I had picked up the ukulele for fun several years ago but my skill level stayed mostly stagnant until I started these lessons. Hector has also taught me to hear music in a more meaningful way. Without getting very deep in music theory, I'm learning to appreciate the flow, the tempo, and the genius composition of music artists in their songs. Hector plays multiple instruments himself and performs in the area when not teaching. His knowledge and passion for music are readily evident as soon as you meet him and he is one of those teachers who makes students want to come back to learn more. His easygoing manner and great personality take the pressure off without lowering the standard. He also has the uncanny ability to sense and adjust to my level (mostly limitations) and shapes the lessons around my abilities and interests. When I leave each lesson, I have a good idea exactly what to work on next without feeling overwhelmed. For anyone looking for music lessons in the area, I highly recommend Jampro.

She has been a part of several amazing bands through Jampro, playing both at their awesome on-site stage and at festivals and businesses here in town. The improvement in her musical talents has been a beautiful and impressive journey that continues to leave me in awe. All of the teachers have been excellent and top caliber musicians themselves. Jampro often served as a safe space for my daughter during some difficult times through the years. They treated her like family and I will forever be grateful. The facility is top notch and every thing you'd expect from a high end studio and more. They even have courses to learn audio production and DJ. I invite anyone to take a tour as you will be wowed by all they offer. The programs are not cheap, but I've found them to be worth every penny and a truly worthy investment in my daughter.

When I got there, Tom began setting up about 10-15 different mics for me. Not only did he fit me in late at night after a long day's work, he never rushed. We found what worked for me (yes it was the U87), but it was great to know that there were others that worked for me as well. It's also invaluable to be able to hire Tom to come to my studio to make adjustments on my equipment, AND, for an incredibly reasonable price. Oh, also, the other reviewer was right...he's a Reno legend. Thanks Tom!

Tired of practicing in the garage? Get yourself a studio at MRC! Want to practice for that "big show" on a large stage with full A/V support? Reserve some time on MRC's rehearsal stage! Need a solid demo video or professionally produced DVD? They've got an A/V suite that will knock yer socks off. I've rehearsed with a couple different bands at MRC and am always impressed with how professionally the place is managed and maintained. Everyone from small local bands to large, internationally touring acts have made use of these facilities, and with good reason. There just isn't anything close to this for several hundred miles, and MRC compares favorably with similar facilities in larger markets. Can't say enough good things about MRC.

We had to fill out a credit check form for the rental program. They presented us with both a used and new violin option with reasonable pricing for renting and insurance. They also allow you to switch it out if our child outgrows the size. It was a super easy process to pick up a rental instrument and seems like the store has quite the variety of supplies for both wind and string instruments.
