I wish I could say it was a great experience but it wasn't!! I walked in excited about getting change but walked out with words indescribable. I went home thinking it might grow on me but it hasn't. I've never been so embarrassed of my hair as I am now. I let the owner know but was very upset with how she handled it. Jon was the 1st to come up with consistently good reviews. I have a graduated bob and like to keep it modern but not too trendy as I has a conservative job. Jon did a wonderful job! So far I've been to him 3 times, the last for a cut and color. The highlighting he did turned out perfectly! He does take a while, but it was well worth it. Next my my hairdresser back in Portland, he has done the best job on my hair so far. My only complaint is the constant TV watching. I'd prefer music and not being bombarded "X Factor" and the like. Nonetheless, I ABSOLUTELY think he's the best!

jon is a super nice guy, however i could not in good conscience tell you to go here for a cut…read more again,i am ONLY speaking of a cut...he may be spectacular with color. i took pictures with me and he layered my curly hair (dry cut, which i've never had done before). i ended up having to cut off at least 1 1/2" from my length (which i did NOT want to loose) to make the cut even semi-liveable. it was like i had a bowl of curls around my head and there was no blending of layers at all, just a big 5" or better jump to the end of my hair. it still wasn't good and needed to be blended so i had to go to another salon (in SC while visiting friends) to have it fixed. its better now but i've lost all my length and have WAY shorter layers than i wanted. it's going to take years to get things grown out to where i wanted them. :(
