I've always like thus mall. It's big, you can walk around for hours, and it's absolutely clean. I mean Tanger really puts that .5% to use with keeping the storefronts and signs clear, power washing sidewalks and the carousel, and sweeping away all debris in the parking lots. It makes for a pleasant shopping experience when there's a variety of stores to choose from on a clean environment. My only drawback is the time on Sunday's. I know that the holiday hours stretched to 10pm on Friday and Saturday and 10-7 on Sunday's. I don't think it's fair that the Sunday hours continue like this for the rest of the year. It was just for the holiday season, so last minute shoppers could get theirs, and I think it should've stayed that way read more

I've been coming to this mall since I was in high school, a traditional stop during any beach trip. Over the years, the Tanger outlet has only improved. Each year, I find they are always adding new and more high end retailers which is great! It's a very large outlet mall and can easily take a full day to cover. Make sure you wear comfy shoes! Some stores are "made for factory" so know what you are getting into before getting caught up in the crazy deals. They may not be as good as you think they are. Shop smart, peeps! The ample parking lot makes it easy and stress free to find a parking spot. Surrounding the area are lots of restaurants if you need a quick meal before you set out for round 2. read more

As far as outlets go this used to be the biggest and best around. Now that other areas have started developing outlet malls it seems the pool of inventory is more widely spread and deals are harder to find on items you would actually want. Further it seems several of these stores are more like individual retail stores vs outlets. Though deals aren't as readily available I had some luck. The Under Armour Store has a lot of retail priced items; however, my son is in a sweet spot size wise with men's clothing. Men's mediums were abundant on current clearance items. I found a solid hoodie for $20.00 in a crazy orange color that he really liked. I also found compression pants, which will come in handy in the fall with football season, several pairs of shorts, a couple belts, a really nice Easter outfit and a few other things. I was pleased. I also ran across a really good deal at the Brooks Brothers outlet. I went into a few other stores and nothing really stuck out as a good deal. I've had some success with various other stores In the past. I was solo so the duration and number of stores visited during this shopping excursion was limited. We will return next time we are on our way home from the beach. read more

Wow, have you ever been to a outlet mall? Have you even been to a Tanger outlet mall. Tangers tend to be big. I usually go to the one in NH. I'm not a big fan of shopping. But, let me tell you the Tanger mall in Foley is almost worth the trip south just to see this place. At least 116 stores (the one in Tilton NH has 50) with at least 5 restaurants, this place is bigger than life. It's like Disney for adults. Plan to spend a day here. Every store you can think of. They ship people in by the bus load. Clean, cheap, friendly, just incredible. If your in the gulf area check this place out. read more

Tanger Outlet, in Foley, Alabama, is a fabulous place to shop. Helpful staff in all stores and great buys.

One of the only stores that was of interest to me is Coach and I just bought what I wanted in the Gulfport location so I didn't even go in because that could be dangerous lol. I was really hoping for a Lucky store but there was none. The mall is clean and it was pretty busy but I would not shop in the majority of the stores and that makes it a won't be back for me- ever. My boyfriend loves Brooks Brothers but he said everything in the store was not good and most of it was stuff he would never were and he has some really nice BB clothes at home. Oh well, just not for me. 3 stars for being clean and even though it was crowded we had little problem getting a parking spot. Just check the directory before you go. read more

Great amount of stores and only about 45 mins from Pensacola. This definitely a nice outdoor outlet center worth visiting with the family.

Went their with a group of 6. We were seated quickly and our server had a great personality, knew the menu very well and helped 6 picky people select their entries. We had 2 burgers (Cheese burger & hurricane burger) and they wee cooked the way we wanted them. They both had great flavor especially the hurricane burger. The Mississippi catfish was fried in a cornmeal batter and was some of the best catfish I have ever had. The batter was crispy and the fish itself was flaky and juicy, not overcooked. They also served hush puppies that were very flavorful, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. This was a very successful meal for all. Excellent food, great service and reasonably priced. I am not a really big shopper but I love this place. It's well kept and has a big selection of big name stores. Only complaint is that the food court is severely lacking for a mall this size. read more

This Tanger has a huge selection of stores laid out attractively and with good signage. I did have occasion to visit the office and the staff there was extremely kind and accommodating. Most of the sales associates were the same. My only complaint, if it is one, and it seems indicative of all Tangers, is the food service, or lack thereof. This one had a food court with only 3 vendors and lots of available space. I wish Tanger could entice more purveyors. read more

Wow, what an outlett mall!!! I thought it would be a boring mall. It has a huge variety of stores for everone and all ages. The only thing is the stores are spread out so you will have to do some walking or drive your vehicle as you go down the stores. There are alot of fast food and sit down order restaurants. Oh it is quite the distance from the 10 interstate, however you go through some small town on the way there. read more

We visit Tanger every time we vacation in Gulf Shores. Going there is a nice afternoon trip from the beach. We buy a few things, but basically just enjoy looking at all the stuff on a sunny day... Prices are high in most of the stores, but window-shopping is free. read more

Make sure you use the restrooms before the outlet mall closes. Heaven forbid you or your child need to use the facilities two minutes after. I had two little girls, one on each hand, who desperately needed to go potty. It was literally 6:02 on Sunday and the woman was cleaning the restroom nearest me, she saw how upset the girls were yet refused to let us in. Needless to say, I was very angry. Where is the compassion? That being said, the actual mall was nice. Nice variety of stores. Awesome play area for the kids, complete with a mini water feature for them to play in. However I was so upset by the restroom incident it completely ruined the whole experience for me. read more

I love going to Tanger Outlet. I almost always find what I need while I'm out there. Everyone is very friendly, and if you're a member the coupon books have amazing deals. My biggest complaint would be that the food court sucks, just plain and simple. There is a lack of variety, well just good food in general actually. Other than that I'm out there every other week. read more

Fun place to shop or waste time walking around. Well kept grounds and beautiful landscaping, especially at night when all lit up. Take note, however, that while it is called an outlet mall, very few of the stores are factory outlets. It's mostly a big strip mall with the same deals you will get at your local Bath & Body Works or H&M. Still a nice way to spend a rainy day of your beach vacation or when you've had enough sun. Not recommended for lunch, however....the food court is like a ghost town and options are limited. read more

I purchased a gift card online. When my wife tried to use it at TJ Maxx they were absolutely totally inept. Their service people you're totally in the dark as to how the use the online gift card. She wasted about an hour having to take it to the Tanger Outlet Mall office to have it transferred into a card and then go back to complete her purchase at TJ Maxx. Why we enjoy shopping at Tanger Outlet Mall TJ Maxx needs people trained in how to handle your online purchases of gift cards. I am not happy! read more

Beautiful outdoor outlet mall with great benefits for being a Tanger Club Member!

This is an Outside Mall with stores layered in 3 sections. A playground and Ferris wheel sits in the middle of the mall which is nice for the kids to let off some energy before going home. Marry Go Round cost $5 for 1 ride 2 people. My son had a blast riding the horses on the Merry go Round then splashing in the water. We all enjoy going to TJ Max cause of all the savings you get when you buy from them. Suggest going when it's not raining. read more

Shop almost all the stores here - have trouble NOT buying at all of them! Service is great, staff friendly, always one of the first places we stop ever year when we return. As far as outlet malls go, Tanger Outlets in Foley is top notch. I'm not much of a shopper, but this place is always worth stopping in. Its something for me to say that, because I've only ever been to one other outlet mall that I didn't think was a dump and/or a waste of time (its north of Seattle, WA). This outlet mall has an amazing selection stores (including a Le Crueset Outlet - FTW!). The entire facility is also well maintained and clean. A lot of outlet malls seem to have problems renting all of their space, but not this place. I didn't see a single empty store front. The proximity to Gulf Shores is also a big plus. If you go, plan on spending money, because there are always a lot of great deals. The only downside is that the place has an odd layout. Its laid out almost like a double horseshoe. I don't know that any outlet has an absolutely brilliant layout, but this place is in something like a double horseshoe. I can see how this maximizes the number of stores that they can get on the property but the place is so big that its not easy to cover the entire place on foot. Then again, I have two kids under four that won't ride in strollers, so not many places are easy to cover on foot. read more

I recently had gone to the Tanger Outlet Mall in Foley Alabama. With my coupon in hand I went to guest services in the mall office, to receive a discount coupon book for various stores in the mall. The employee there couldn't have been sweeter. She explained a new reward program with all the many benefits.
