Shop almost all the stores here - have trouble NOT buying at all of them! Service is great, staff friendly, always one of the first places we stop ever year when we return. As far as outlet malls go, Tanger Outlets in Foley is top notch. I'm not much of a shopper, but this place is always worth stopping in. Its something for me to say that, because I've only ever been to one other outlet mall that I didn't think was a dump and/or a waste of time (its north of Seattle, WA). This outlet mall has an amazing selection stores (including a Le Crueset Outlet - FTW!). The entire facility is also well maintained and clean. A lot of outlet malls seem to have problems renting all of their space, but not this place. I didn't see a single empty store front. The proximity to Gulf Shores is also a big plus. If you go, plan on spending money, because there are always a lot of great deals. The only downside is that the place has an odd layout. Its laid out almost like a double horseshoe. I don't know that any outlet has an absolutely brilliant layout, but this place is in something like a double horseshoe. I can see how this maximizes the number of stores that they can get on the property but the place is so big that its not easy to cover the entire place on foot. Then again, I have two kids under four that won't ride in strollers, so not many places are easy to cover on foot. read more

I recently had gone to the Tanger Outlet Mall in Foley Alabama. With my coupon in hand I went to guest services in the mall office, to receive a discount coupon book for various stores in the mall. The employee there couldn't have been sweeter. She explained a new reward program with all the many benefits. I love the shopping at this mall, and have scored many good deals with the added benefits of the reward program. I wouldn't hesitate to spend the $10 for the program . read more

PACSUN! Terrible service and false promotions!!! They should train this particular employee better. I went to PacSun on May 28th excited about the sales they were having. They had blue stickers on some of their price tags to indicate that they are buy 1 get 2 free. The sign clearly states this, but when I finally found the perfect shorts and rompers, the girl at the register said that they were not registering as buy 1 get 2 free even though they had blue stickers on the tag. She was also not the nicest sales associate as she never once smiled. She even acted irritated when it was clearly their fault that they did not bother to correct their mistakes. I had to cancel everything except for the shorts. It really upsets me that I walked out of there with only one thing when I was really excited to get the 2 free items. She didn't even say have a good day. She just handed me my purchase in silence while clearly acting irritated. I have been in retail for 6 years so I know how important it is to accommodate the customers when they are upset. I am really disappointed with my experience here and I don't think I'll ever come back since they clearly don't know how to label their merchandise accordingly. read more

Fossil at ranger outlets is absolutely awful. Wasn't even greeted when my sister and I walked in. No one offered to help me when I wanted to look at a watch. Will never go back. read more

I love shopping at this outlet mall, but my last experience was kind of disappointing. The polo outlet had very limited sizes, and I purchased some things anyway. I received a coupon the next day,so I decided to go back and see if I could return the items then re-purchase and use the coupon. The manager (lacy) was quite rude about it. Needless to say, I was able to use the coupon and save some money. She was not accommodating at all. All other associates in all other stores were pretty friendly. read more

Been here many times over the last about 20 years while visiting Orange Beach from Illinois. I have found a lot of great deals, especially during the President's Day sale. My only negative comment is that several times, including my trip on 2/23, the mall has closed really early due to inclement weather. Some stores closed at 3 and some at 3:30 that day with no notice other than walking into a store and the associate saying, "The whole mall is closing." After that we went for appetizers and dinner in the area and it didn't even start getting bad until several hours later. I think they could have easily stayed open longer. I guess it depends on your basis of comparison. That wouldn't stop anyone from anything in IL. read more

We love going to Tanger Outlets. They have a cute splash area for the kids and a playground. Great way to break up the time when shopping. Not a great selection of food but there are so many restaurants right outside the outlets. They also always have great sales. read more

I shop at this Tanger Outlet on a regular basis and for the most part am very satisfied with the stores that occupy the property and pleased with the quality of the merchandise and the discounts offered at the shops I frequent. It seems that they are securing more upscale shops to replace some that were not that desirable. Guest Services is very nice and helpful, and the rewards offered for dollars spent in one calendar year on the property are adequate but not great. The property as well as the restrooms are well-maintained and usually clean. I would recommend shopping at this Tanger Outlet. If you are going to be a frequent shopper, it is worthwhile to purchase a Tanger Card for the free coupon books and rewards. read more

I was in Foley, Alabama last week to take care of some business there. After finishing up with that, my wife and I decided to stop at the outlet stores to check out the Carthartt store which was in the Sandlot store. My wife and I entered the store and from the moment we entered the display area all eyes were on us. The owner or manager began walking the floor at first he was at the counter shooting the breeze with a customer. Never once did anyone say may I help you find something. This guy walked the store floor until we left out then I saw him going back to the counter where he was originally. I didn't come there to "steal" anything or"grab and dash". I came there to buy whatever I might want. This experience was very uneasy with me. I guess this guy has determined in his mine if you're a blackmale you're up to no good regardless of how you're dressed or carrying yourself. No one should judge anyone by the actions of someone else. This experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and I will never go there again. read more

well its just like all shopping malls, but its a strip mall so it's outside. yet it is covered with benches so you will not get too much sun. Lots of brand name stores like pacsun, aeropostle, american eagle, j.crew, brooks brothers, old navy, gold toe, version, and more at http://www.tangeroutlet.com/foley you can find a full list of stores..it is a little hard to navigate at first but if you just get a directory you will be find. It gets really busy in the summer if you go at noon. i recommend getting there at eleven A.M (as soon as it opens) so that you get a really good parking spot. the restrooms are fairly clean and sanitary. They have some vending machines but not any restaurants. I would eat before or leave the car parked and walk to either the ihop or the Chinese buffet. Both are really close to walk to. overall was a pretty good experience with some good deals especially at aeropostle. read more
