Tandem Ciders is a MUST when hopping around Traverse City! This little gem specializes in delicious ciders. We arrived close to the 5 O'Clock hour, no problems at all. The tender was friendly & inviting. We opted for a quick tasting & a 6 pack to go. Everything was amazing! The cozy interior, the awesome sitting area outside, and so many nooks & crannies to chill & play games amongst the grounds. The cider we chose were the Cherry Oh! & the Strawberry Jam- delicious dessert ciders. Easy drinking. Be sure to make the trek up the Leelanau Peninsula to Tandem Ciders while visiting the area. It will be your favorite spot!

Tandem Ciders is one of our all time favorite places on the Leelanau Peninsula. The vibe is laid back and friendly and on any given day, you can find tourists and locals alike, enjoying some delicious ciders. I especially like that many of their ciders are on the drier-side, but they do have enough variety for every taste. My personal favorites are Green Man and Smackintosh. One of the traditions we have when visiting Tandem is having a pickled egg. On our first visit, we spied the jar behind the bar and asked about it. Having never had one, we took the bartender's recommendation and tried one. We were surprised at how much we liked it! The indoor seating is cozy. We usually visit in the fall and love when we can sit outside. In the past, there were some fire pits outside to enjoy, but we didn't see them out this past trip. To be honest, the outdoor space could use a little decluttering and sprucing up, but that is literally the only negative thing I could say about this wonderful place.

This was one of my favorite spots in the traverse city area. Some of our group's favorites included Bee's Dream and the semi dry options. It's a super affordable spot, and they even had some very cute merch. The outdoor area was thoroughly distanced and they were taking covid precautions very seriously. They also had some quick and easy snacks that were a nice option (the pickled eggs!!). I would definitely go back here again. It's a low-frills, beautiful spot with delicious ciders.

We loved this stop. I have loved spot for years! I originally saw it in a Martha Stewart living maybe 8 or 10 years ago. They have changed and grown over the years and it has been awesome. Stopped in on Friday the 1st of November. The tasting room was warm and welcoming. The bar itself is tiny but there are other locations to taste ciders. We choose the 2oz tasting sizes. We loved all the ciders and even took some Togo! Greenman was our favorite.

We went to four wineries and one cidery yesterday, and this was the one cidery, since it was in the area. They have a nice seating area outdoors but not much space indoors, though they have one pretty nice bathroom (and outdoors, they have a Port-A-Potty...). I wasn't feeling that great since we had drunk a lot of wine that day but I still sampled two ciders, the Smackintosh and the Coloma Blue. The Smackintosh tasted odd to me, but later my friends said I should have sampled that BEFORE the Coloma Blue (which was delicious, by the way - tasted like a blueberry apple cider). I believe it was $1.50 each per 3 ounce sampler pour. They have a small area with t-shirts and whatnot in the back, too, and I actually ended up buying a print for $15 ... I can't wait to frame it and put it on my wall.

We were in Traverse City and decided to take the drive to Tandem before dinner. We ended up having a glass and purchased two growlers to take home. They are off the main road but worth the drive.

Check in here on Yelp for a free bag of peanuts to go with your ciders. It's a quaint little place that if you blink, you might drive right by. We enjoyed a sampler flight and got a growler of smackintosh for home along with a few Tandem Cider goblets. What a lovely day to soak up some fall sunshine while sipping cider in the orchard. We love this place and the staff who are so friendly.

Beautiful location. The siders were great. Their flight of siders gives you a good experience of all the flavors that they have. We enjoyed it so much we bought a couple to take back to our rental house.

SMACKINTOSH -- great here and also available on tap up at the Mitten Brewery of Northport. They will fill a growler for you to take home.

No longer dog friendly inside but nice outdoor area where dogs are welcome. Good cider and an interesting pickled egg! Worth a stop.

The selection isn't huge as they have a smaller footprint but we found pretty much everything we needed in this small town market. Candy, Sprite, and s'mores fixin's for my little cousin, blueberries and oatmeal for my grandma, beer for my husband and uncle, frozen soft pretzels and mustard for my aunt, brats making sausage and peppers for the group for my mom, and Moomers ice cream and cans of Bubly for me. Prices were decent, especially for a smaller market, and they had a surprising amount of locally made goods. Produce selection was a little small (we had to go into Sutton's Bay to get oranges, for example) but all pantry items we needed were easy to find. The shop, because it's small, makes checking out a little challenging when there are more than a few folks in there. At one point my mom and I were looking at the ice cream selection and a line of about 4 people filed behind us. We didn't realize the coolers were adjacent to the second cash register! Navigating out was a challenge but everyone was very kind about it. Admittedly, though I read the amazing reviews for their Indian eats, we did not get any. But I'm definitely game to try it out next time.
