You're not supposed to wear pastels!!! Mind racing for a solution. You're sick that day? Have to wash your hair? Couldn't make it because you were rescuing a baby from a burning building? Or....you could not be the skin color equivalent of Casper the Friendly Ghost, and maybe you could pull off that color. The reviews of the midtown location are no lie--the place is spotless, the people are friendly, the bulbs are changed often. And within a few visits, I had a healthy glow that looked pretty darn good in lavender, and I no longer had legs so white I'd give someone retinal burn if they saw them. I would highly recommend this location!!

As a tanning newbie, I trust her recommendations and her confidence. I'd always used the level 2 beds (lowest level) and on my most recent visit she invited me to check out a level 3 bed because they were having a free upgrade special that day. Glad I tried it! Even better experience just due to the bed alone. I will always come here to get my tan on or just to feel some warmth during winter.

I love to be tan, but don't want to use tanning beds anymore due to how harmful they are. I have tried a lot of places around town using the machine method and even for how OCD I am about applying the lotions on hands and feet and perfecting the stance it just never turns out "perfect." After years of applying it myself with good enough results I had stuck with that until I stumbled across Kayla's instagram page. I AM HOOKED! Her application is absolutely perfect. No streaks, no orange, no terrifying hands and feet, and it's quick! I used to dedicate a whole evening to doing it myself and it took up a lot of my time and still didn't get the perfect results I get after a spray tan with Kayla. Highly, Highly, recommend her! The times that I went here I had Meli do my spray tan and she was phenomenal. For those of you who haven't done it, spray tans are a somewhat comical experience as you stand naked and someone essentially sprays you down like you're a car getting a fresh coat of paint. But meli did a phenomenal job making the experience enjoyable providing great conversation and making the awkward positions required to minimalist weird tan lines feel less awkward. She did so well I came back and referred her to a friend. She will definitely be my go to person in the future!

Zero stars. There were used hair covers all over the floor (and I'm not confident that the one I…read morewas given to use was new). The spray tan left me with blotchy orange patches, uneven and it would be almost comical, if I did not have to cancel a planned photo shoot until after the orange fades. I ended up opting out of the bed tanning that I had prepaid for. I was not given any info on the operation of the bed and had to call the attendant to ask her how to start the bed. Then, the bed was dirty. I was not given a towel, nor eye protection, and after using my shirt to cover my eyes and finding a small, ragged towel in their cabinet to use, I could not stay in the bed longer than 30-seconds before I realized I better get out. It was BROILING hot. When I got out, another person had been using another bed and when asked how it was he said "too hot!". My husband was there for the whole thing, being very patient. I told the attendant I decided not to use the bed after all, and she told me she could not refund my money because she was not a manger. I told her ok, when they could generate it in day or so, that that would be fine. After three days, I never heard from them so I called the owner after tracking her down (Crystal), and she told me she "tough" and hung up on me. Their motto is ""We promise to deliver the highest quality in customer satisfaction through our knowledgeable, highly talented and friendly staff", but what I experienced was the complete polar opposite of that. In every sense. The worst part was the owner Crystal's complete unprofessionalism and rude, desperate behavior. It is clear she needs the $49.00 bucks more than I do. She hung up on me when I told her I would like the refund that I was promised and I guess that's what she calls "customer satisfaction". And yes, I have been to tanning salons, and received spray tans and been in tanning beds before. Just never had such a negative experience. In fact, I used to own a private, commercial grade tanning bed of my own when I lived in Palm Beach.
