However, a day after my spray, my feet started to look very and I sent a picture to the stylist and putting lotion on my feet and scrubbing it with bar soap because my feet were very discolored and didn't seem to take well to the spray tan. I can tell you that today is Wednesday and I don't even look like I've gotten a spray tan and I had my spray tan done five days ago. This isn't my first spray tan, but I'm very disappointed with the experience and especially paying what I paid I expected it to last a little bit longer and it barely lasted three days.

I've been tanning since college (planet beach, local shops, etc.) and am not too prissy about conditions but I like my equipment clean and the staff to know what they are talking about. Sick of the drive to valrico, I bought a single tan on a level 4 bed from south beach to try it out. The place was clean, towels were in fine condition, and the girls who work there (only interacted with 2 of them) were friendly and knowledgeable. I don't know if they changed management since the negative reviews, but this was honestly one of the better salons I've been to. I felt a little dumb placing so much stock in the yelp reviews before trying it out myself and now I have another 10 tans to get rid of in Valrico before I can buy a membership at south beach. TLDR; Clean beds, friendly, try a single tan for yourself before taking a few yelp reviews too seriously. (or driving to valrico!)

They were very snobby and not friendly, immediately treating me like I am out of place and don't belong.. They offered little to no education or instruction, and even had to move me to a different machine b/c even they could not get it to work. I felt very left in the dark about what I am even supposed to do. When leaving, I even told the girl I didn't know if I did it right and she said "well let's hope you did"...as if it isn't her JOB to make sure I did it right. It was as if I were inconveniencing them. That is not even the worst part. Things happen, I get it. My spray tan turned out horrible, I called back the next day to speak with a manager, and they said manager Haley would not be in until Tuesday. and wow was she a delight.... (not). Kept interrupting me, would not even LISTEN to my concerns, said its hard to believe that I am calling 3 days later...when they told me to call back when a manager was in, on TUESDAY. I have worked in customer service for 15+ years, I have NEVER EVER been spoken to the way Haley spoke to me or treated me, she went as far to HANG UP on me after I asked for her managers information--HUGE RED FLAG. I called back and she said "there is no reason to escalate it" -- whose decision is that? Because last time I checked its MINE. Haley is rude, unprofessional ,unpleasant, and clearly uneducated. This was the worst customer service experience I have EVER had in my LIFE. I will never EVER get a spray tan again and NEVER go back to south Tampa location. What should have been a customer complaint where an apology could go a long way, turned into a customer DISSERVICE nightmare. I truly cannot accept the treatment I was given or the way I was spoken to. The Fact Haley is the manager of these girls , her behavior makes a lot of sense. Completely unprofessional and going to drive this business into the ground. You greet people at the door and make sure they are educated on your products, how hard could it be? 10/10 do not recommend this location as long as Haley is working there, she is going to drive this business to the ground if she hasn't already.
