Probably the best tanning salon I've ever been to and I worked at one for years in Northern California. Eric and Hailey are both genuine and very personable. It's so refreshing to do business with people who aren't pushy and actually knowledgeable. They helped me find a package that was flexible and suited my needs. This is the kind of business that should be the training ground for every business. The staff is so cheerful, helpful and really know their business. They have a positive, energetic yet relaxed atmosphere and make me feel like someone, not just a customer. The cleanliness of this business is second to none. Very clean and organized. This place is PHENOMENAL! Though I don't get tans, my husband does and let me tell you about how amazing these people are!!!!!! About a year ago my husband had lost his Rolex watch. He never takes it off until he gets home so we couldn't figure out where it had disappeared to, and after a years worth of looking we finally gave up. Well, about a week ago my husband went in and was asked by the owner if he had lost a watch!!! He said yes and explained what happened and well, long story short the watch was confirmed to be his with the serial number and was returned back to us!! The salon owner said he kept it safe and locked up for a whole year until they were able to find the rightful owner! I am so grateful for them and I couldn't even gather the words to thank them enough. With all the craziness in the world it just feels so good to have honest people out there. The building is beautiful and the interior has a relaxing, spa vibe. I was able to book an appointment same day and had no waiting time when I got there. The gal that helped me out (Alecia) made sure to make me feel completely comfortable and was extremely quick. I was done in a matter of 15 minutes and loved my color! I was referred here by a coworker who had a similar skin type. Instantly when I walked in, Hayley was soooo nice and welcoming. Very ritzy looking but when i went in to check it out, the owner was very pushy and didn't allow me to say what i was looking for but just threw me into a bed and then tried to upsell like crazy. The tan was supposed to be free because I had a coupon but when i didn't buy a package he tried to make me pay for it. He also talked smack about another tanning salon in the area which I think is very petty and unprofessional. I gave 1 star because they do indeed have nice beds, and 1 star for being so clean. I can see how this place does well in Camarillo, a very pro luxury, pro consumerist little city. But I'd just rather have real human interaction where I spend my money. read more
