You rent the rooms for 1.5+ hours at a time and once you check in and they brief you on the room and how everything operates, it's your own private paradise for however long you've rented it. I've been to a couple places in the valley and this is my favorite. Everyone I've dealt with at Tub House has been polite and professional.

I came in Saturday, asked if they were going to be open tomorrow (which was Sunday) I was told yes,…read morethat they would be open until 6 pm. So Sunday, I drove all the way from O'Malley, because all the other locations are closed Sunday's and I'm trying to build a tan for my upcoming trip. When I got to the salon I found they were closed for the day for training. I had literally asked, not even 24 hours before if they would be open the next day and they confirmed yes. Really disappointed... I had just filled my tank up before heading to wasilla. I ended up almost half a tank of gas. Plus it's a 57 mins drive one directions and 57 mins back. 2 hours of my day I can't get back and a very expensive drive. I am still very upset about yesterday.

To be fair, this was a few years ago…read more I went here at the recommendation of a coworker. Upon arriving I met with my stylist (whom will remain unnamed) and explained to her that I needed my grow-out highlighted. My hair is a very natural blonde, and I explained to her that it needed to stay that way. When it came time to rinse, it was revealed my hair was now brown/green. I started crying. The stylist told me it was what I asked for when it most certainly was not! I had to go to a color correctionist that same day to have my hair stripped and re-dyed. I couldn't wear a pony tail for months because it would snap my hair off. Every time I brushed my hair huge clumps would just fall out. It was a nightmare.

I love to be tan, but don't want to use tanning beds anymore due to how harmful they are. I have tried a lot of places around town using the machine method and even for how OCD I am about applying the lotions on hands and feet and perfecting the stance it just never turns out "perfect." After years of applying it myself with good enough results I had stuck with that until I stumbled across Kayla's instagram page. I AM HOOKED! Her application is absolutely perfect. No streaks, no orange, no terrifying hands and feet, and it's quick! I used to dedicate a whole evening to doing it myself and it took up a lot of my time and still didn't get the perfect results I get after a spray tan with Kayla. Highly, Highly, recommend her!
