This salon is based out of a lakeside residential property with amazing mountain views. The home itself has been converted into a salon with the family room converted into the nail salon, the garage into the hair salon, several relaxation zones serving as waiting areas, and smaller bedrooms for esthetician services such as waxing, facials, and other skin needs. Other small rooms are for massages. Candy has been an esthetician in the valley and in Anchorage for several years, and really knows her stuff. I have wax services with her, and this was my first facial. She customized my service based on what my skin type, novice experience, and needs for bridal make up. Her services are catered to your needs, she is always friendly, and ensures that your experience is what you want it it to be. Her room is set up so it can be relaxing with heated blankets, darkened window coverings, music, and will ask you what you need from her to make your experience what you want it to be. She walks you through each step, and what to expect to feel. I enjoy using Candy for services, and for new experiences because she will always make sure my comfort and relaxation is number one. Highlights around my face came out orange and all the beautiful light blonde I walked in with was covered by a dark and drab toner. Nothing could be done. It was 2 hours before the wedding .I realize it's only "hair "but it will be forever reflected in my family's wedding photos and quite honestly, I was devastated and embarrassed. I avoided being in photos as much as possible. Audrey I would highly recommend classes to upgrade your skills as a colorist. Now for the amazing part. For the next day, I was able to make an appointment with the salon manager, Rebecca. She knew exactly what needed to be done. She corrected the color and did her best to bring my hair back to its original blonde and take out those bands of orange around my face. Her years of experience were reflected in the outcome. I called when I got home, offered appt 5 days away. I never went back as to afraid of service. Therron pulled my hair out, rinsed in ice cold water, it looks like mud!! I am considering suing for the damages mental and physical. NEVER GO THERE!!!
