Cooked well, tasty, the slaw was fresh and added flavor but wasn't overbearing. I thought we were going out for a drink…read more Apparently Mom signed us up for game night. Clinton Hall has a HUGE outdoor space filled with picnic tables and oversized games. There was Connect Four, Jenga, Uno, cornhole, some sort of giant Tetris situation and enormous dice everywhere that I initially assumed were unusually stylish dog toys. I was informed they were not. Even better, they have an entire area dedicated to dogs with water bowls AND DOG LOUNGE BEDS. Finally. A hospitality establishment that understands some of us have standards. I immediately inspected the accommodations and found the lounge bed quite acceptable. There was also plenty of room for me to stretch out on the bench beside Mom while she repeatedly demonstrated that being taller than your opponent does not necessarily make you better at Connect Four. I watched. I judged. I said nothing. Mom wasn't very hungry, so she ordered something called the Teany Weany Meal -- one slider, a handful of fries and a tiny beer. Frankly, it looked like a meal designed for me, but apparently that was not the intention. Dad had a Stella and Mom switched to a Diet Coke while they continued their highly competitive athletic endeavors. The whole place has a fun, casual beer-hall atmosphere, and it was surprisingly family-friendly too. There were kids playing the games, groups hanging out after work and plenty of space for everyone. Dogba's verdict: Dedicated dog water bowls? Actual dog lounge beds?! Giant games everywhere? Huge outdoor space? ‍‍ Family-friendly? And with the time difference you are watching matches during breakfast. We ordered a ton of breakfast items and it was so good! Family friendly and we came with a big group all with kids.
