Very fresh, very good and reasonably priced. Eat in or take out. So much better than anywhere else in town!

Came here for lunch, because I was in the area for work. Unfortunately this area has very limited food options and everything I have tried in the area failed miserably. So I saw good reviews and decided to try these tacos, and I was pleasantly surprised. Service was nice, attentive and very friendly. Menu had some no meat options, some fish options and other than tacos options. I got two chicken tacos and one vegetarian. I loved them all, very fresh and made very authentic. Ambiance is lacking unfortunately, it's ok for what it offers but I would prefer to have it be a little nicer inside. It's very simple and very few seating available. Overall great experience for lunch. read more

Would give it 3.5. LA native who was not a fan of them. Not the worst, but nowhere near a 5 star taco. Ground beef ones were not good

I had a craving for tacos so I headed up Tamiami Trail to Taco Bell or Del Rio. Saw a strip mall sign with a green TACOS sign. Turned around and tried it. THE BEST IVE HAD. You can build your own taco (3) for $10. It's worth it and takes no longer than sitting in a drive thru lane. I'll by pass all others next time to get here. Don't be foolish like me and forget the napkins!!! read more

Yes! I recommend this one guys! Definitely thee Taco Place for thee best AUTHENTIC food. They do ONE thing and do it well. I had the Rice Bowl with Marinated Chicken and Beans. It's called Build Your Own and you choose the protein, toppings etc.. The chicken was seasoned well and you got a good sized portion. A few comfortable booths and tables as well. Latin Art displayed on the walls and the girl who took our order was patient and sweet. Our food came quickly. My son ordered the Build Your Own Burrito but he also recommended the Thai Shrimp Tacos. This place is going to be here for a long time because they have a great menu and kudos to the chef! Don't forget to tip at the register and DO try the Pineapple Mango Fresca Drink read more

Burritos are great ! Nachos were good also , the best around I think!! Shrimp tacos were amazing

A tiny fresh taco store in a nondescript Florida strip mall. We stopped in for a quick lunch on our way from the airport to our Air BnB in Anna Maria island. While it doesn't look like much from the outside, the food was fresh and tasty. My chicken burrito was ample and good and my wife's shrimp tago and pork taco with mango salsa was great too. At 1 pm on a Friday we had the place to ourselves. Service was friendly and reasonably quick. read more

This place is solid. The tacos are solid. The cashier is nice. I was in the neighborhood and hungry. Got the three carne asada tacos with the soft corn tortilla with avocado sauce, pico, onions, shredded cheese and lettuce and they were solid. Washed that down a bottle of Coke and I was good. Price was decent. I recommend Tamiami Tacos! read more

Very fresh and flavorful. We enjoyed a build your own bowl with chicken and their chips and salsa

Decent food, great and quick service, cute decor and ambiance. Great food selections too. Pricing was fair too. A bit more American than Mexican but not a bad vibe read more

The tacos weren't bad. But the prices are too high in our opinion. There are other options for less and as good or better quality.

What a hidden gem!! Sarabay Plaza! The tacos I had order were : Siesta Key tacos - Steak, Cheese, pico, cilantro, onion and poblano ranch. Thai Shrimp - Panko fried shrimp pickled slaw and Thai Chili sauce (Delicious!!) They were both so go but my favorite was the Thai Shrimp! No matter what you get it's ALL so GOOD! read more

This small hole in the wall serves incredible burritos and delightful taco salads and based on a customer who was eating near by -- shouted out -- "excellent tacos!" The staff were attentive and friendly. The portions were large. Now that I know they are here and the food is exceptional-- I will be back to try their tacos and Quesadillas. We were here during the dinner hour-- they close at 7 PM. This place needs to be on people's radar-- they are this good!! read more

I walked into Tamiami Tacos like I owned the place... I walked out wishing I actually did. Holy moly... you wanna talk about highway robbery?? Probably the most overpriced average food I've ever had. Here's actual dialogue from my experience. Me ~ "Yeah I'll have 4 american tacos and chips and queso" Employee ~ "Will that be all for ya?" Me ~ "Yes ma'am!" Employee ~ "Okay that'll be an arm and a leg sir". Dead serious rang me up for like $35. I could go to 20 different places and get what I got for $15-$20. This place is either desperate or the owner is swimming in hundo dolla bills yo. No cap. Whatever Idiots are paying this travesty obviously don't know good food and still get monthly allowances from their mommy's. read more

What a great hidden gem. If I lived closer, I would definitely be here more often. Everything was really good. I tried 3 different tacos and a shredded chicken quesadilla. Everything comes out nice and hot. The best part is the great value. All 3 specialty tacos, a huge shredded chicken quesadilla and a bottled water came to $20. I will definitely be back in the near future. read more

I had 4 tacos. I had siesta key, Philly cheesesteak, bbq and fried shrimp tacos. I loved all of the fresh pick and cilantro but the steak in two of the tacos was chewy and gummy. I wouldn't get those two. The shrimp wasn't filled with anything so I got a lot of shell and just 2 shrimp. The sauce on top was not well balanced. I couldn't finish that taco. The siesta key has good flavors and with if they ca. really get those steak cuts to be tender it could be a better taco place for sure. The shop is clean and bright. Lots of space for a small shop. Great customer service. I would recommend the siesta key taco. read more

We found our new favorite mexifood place on 14th W. The tacos were amazing. We tried three different kinds each, [ we had half left over for breakfast]. Awesome flavor, I think one of his favs was the philly cheesesteak taco. I loved the Thai chili shrimp taco and BBQ pork taco. The chicken nachos were excellent with the best chips and hearty toppings, plenty for 2-4 people. Please go here and you should not be disappointed. read more

Whoa. My taste buds are still dancing from the flavors this place provided. Tamiami Tacos was my First Taste Friday choice and it did not disappoint. Initially, I was leaning toward Target pizza (seriously, why?) and took a recommendation from a colleague to stop in this place for lunch. I was greeted immediately at the entrance with a friendly face and OVERLY clean environment. I mean, this place is spotless. My colleagues recommended many things off of the menu, but as I scanned it over - I was driven to the thai chili shrimp and steak tacos. The worker helped me to decide and was knowledgeable about the menu, but I still went with my first choice. My colleague got a wrap for herself, as she has been there many times and wanted to try something new. Our food was quick to be prepared and delivered to us. We took it to go as our office is down the strip. She opened her box first and wow! that wrap was literally the size of my forearm!! For such a reasonable price. I got excited, quickly washed my hands, and headed for my to go box. I took the first bite out of the shrimp taco and the variety of flavors was everything I was looking for. I ate my steak taco next and that was just as good. The total cost of my two tacos and a drink was $10. Now, you'd think - oh that may be a little high. No! These tacos were HUGE. so big. Definitely try this place out if you're in the Bradenton area. I definitely will be back! read more

I'm happy the owner has lots of positive reviews but unfortunately this isn't one of them. I'm from Chicago which has the second largest Mexican population in the country. We have more taco shops than McDonalds. We also have one of the top culinary/chef scenes in the world. The tacos here aren't authentic and they don't compare to the fusion tacos put out by fancy chefs. They're stuck somewhere in the middle. It seems the middle works just fine in Bradenton but if you're from a foodie scene you might want to try somewhere else. read more

Food was excellent, I wish that they had a broader menu but my tacos were very good and tasty.

Clean friendly and carnitas taco were very good. It's a taco joint. A little pricey I'm used to paying $1.99 each

I love tacos and my all family this one of favorite places, great service and we recommend.

OK California style tacos. If you are looking traditional Mexican style tacos ( protein, cilantro and onion on a corn tortilla) this isn't the place to go. read more

Tasty tacos! Small place in a strip mall with limited seating. Stopped by for a weekday lunch. Enjoyed two crispy tacos, one americano and one with chipotle chicken. Nothing fancy just straight forward flavorful tacos, at a reasonable price. Also had a chicken and cheese quesadilla. Everything was fresh and served quickly. Would recommend and look forward to returning. read more

The Tacos were fabulous, and the young man behind the counter by the name of K was very knowledgeable and very friendly.

Who would have thought that there would be such yummy tacos tucked in a shop behind a gas station? Tacos are a great deal at just $1.50 for a 4" taco, on a warm, soft flour tortilla. Larger 6" tacos are also available. I tried the chicken and the pork tacos - the meats were nicely seasoned and juicy, though a lot of the juices run out of the taco as you eat it, creating a puddle in the taco basket. I like that there are so many toppings available to customize each taco - shredded cabbage, lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, etc. Don't forget to add the avocado sauce! read more
