I traded in my car and bought a car at this dealer, and here's what I appreciated: 1. The gentlemen didn't have the sleazy sales mentality; it was nice to just browse. 2. The paperwork for selling and buying a vehicle was simple, and everything can be done electronically. 3. They were mindful of my time. I informed them how much time I had, and they respected it and kept to it. 4. I had some issues with the car I purchased from them, and they made it right immediately. 5. I purchase the wrong car at the wrong dealership. Tameron Nissan service department has me feeling some kind of way and not in a good way! Wednesday January 8th I made an appointment for Saturday Jan 11th @ 10am for my Nissan Sentra to be serviced due to a loud thumping noise. Arrived at the scheduled only to feel dismissed due the the service manager stating they can't work on my car on a Saturday. ME: HUH! My appointment was confirmed! The Service Manager appeared not wanting to take my car out to test drive it to see/hear the problem after stating he would when i initially arrived. Then the head mechanic was told by him to take it for a test drive. I provided information on what I was hearing...to me the car sounds like something is loose and is about to come apart any day now. After patiently waiting in the waiting room with my 4yr old son, I was informed of the issue. The service manager stated he needed to order a part and it would be in early next week. I asked if he could provide a loaner vehicle. Well apparently loaners are no longer provided. The thumping sound coming from the car I drive my son to and from school in is getting worse. No updates were given Mon/Tuesday so I called Wednesday and told Alex it sounds worse. I was then informed it would be there by Thursday. No updates were given so I call today...Friday January 17, 2025. Service department employee, Aaron stated it was on back order. Why wasn't I informed of this!? Then I asked to speak with a manager to get a clear understanding of how did it go from being delivered earlier in the week to being on back order. Aaron then proceeds to put me on hold. He stated the service manager is busy and he could have him call me back. This car is truly making me think any day now we are going to be stranded. Aaron stated I could leave the car there. Ok sounds great! But what am I to drive in the meantime?! I asked again for a temporary vehicle. I then asked what's the General Manager name...things seem to change. Aaron came back to the phone stating the part has been pulled. Huuuh..Now I'm really! confused. Vince Amen your employees need more training. Now I need to come in Monday for them to work on my car. Over the past many years Ive heard, and read, so many stories suggesting how never to deal with Tameron Nissan (Mobile). I actually heeded those warnings, until three weeks when I bought my 2025 Rouge. I drove to a neighboring County to buy the last one. No problems at all with that purchase. They did exactly what they said they would do. I've bought a lot of new vehicles in my lifetime, and I can't remember ever having had such a bad experience as I've had this time with TAMERON (Mobile). i wasn't even given the kindness or respect of a return call, email or darn text! Hmmmmm ...... wonder why? I imagine they weren't expecting a call from me that quick lol. The question I had for them is totally insignificant compared to them continuing to lose customers confidence. Trust the reviews and rumors my friend. Just go to a different Nissan dealer. Looking back now, I can see a few things I should've paid closer attention to. Such as when the Sales Manager, stopped me going out the door, and asked me to write a Google review. Even offering me a cell phone to use lol. Of course I agreed to do it when I got home. BUT I felt pressured and wrote a short review while both the Sales Manager and Salesman stood over me. I have since deleted that review. I should've waited to see how they handled things a couple of days later, to give an accurate review. Another lesson learned. I can't even get someone to return my call, my email, or even a text. Nothing. Zero. What happened to integrity?? Shame on them! My purchase not only involved the Salesman, but the Sales Manager as well! I guess crap really does run down hill. If you can't trust the sales manager, you certainly shouldn't trust the salesmen. The little issue I tried to reach out to them about is so insignificant compared to them losing more customer confidence, and continuing their poor reputation for things just like this. Another dealership was happy to help me. Even apologizing for TAMERON NISSAN (Mobile). As with every business, I realize dealerships are in business to make money, but some regular old 'Good Will' or general kindness or respect would change public opinion.Certainly mine. I would strongly caution any prospective buyer about them. I shouldve gone back to my previous Nissan dealership, but it was a little further out, and I simply got lazy I guess. To add to my feelings of disappointment, I discussed their reputation with the Sales Manager. He assured me that was a problem a few years, but they had since changed some of the procedures and resolved those issues lol. My friend ..... trust what you hear, and read. I would give the service department a zero if it was available. I took my car in still under warranty three times for the same problem.(A light came on saying engine malfunction reduced power service now. They would not check the car without an appointment the first time, the second time they kept it for 5 days and charged me me 179.99 for a diagnostic and said nothing was wrong, the third time they kept my car for 15 days and told me it was not under warranty.The cost would be over 1600 dollars with tax then called back saying it was covered but he needs to tell me what to write on the survey because of what I filled out about the second visit.I had to call Nissan corporate office because after 14 days they do not give loaner cars and they did not know when the part would come in and Aaron is nice nasty!!!A miracle happened and my car was fixed the next day after calling Nissan corporate.I was promised a refund of my 179.99 from my second visit and have not received it.I have reported them to Better Business Bureau.This is the worse service department!!!!! read more

They didn't deserve the one star. Picked a car online, verified price and availability with internet salesperson and set 9 am appt. Arrived and told she had to go to other Tameron dealership and young salesperson said he would help us. Price changed to almost $2000 over msrp for paint protection and other crap that had not been applied yet. Plastic was still on parts of the exterior. Then told that the advertised APR was not offered on this vehicle. Looked further down the list of charges and saw the $995 documentation fee. Being a former car dealer I can tell you that this fee is ADDITIONAL DEALER PROFIT! Most dealers get away with $395 to $495 for this fee. This was when we decided that we drove to another city in another state for the wrong people. Drove back to the dealership that we had visited the previous weekend and bought the (plan B) vehicle at the agreed price minus the documentation fee! Liars and crooks is the best description I can think of without profanity. The salesperson not being able to finish a sentence without "cool, cool" definitely did not help! read more

Shady maintenance crew. Unhooked my camera after staring into and realizing it was there. I addressed it. Then technician said it was because it was inside of metal building not remembering I had been there before and it didn't go offline. It never went offline any other dealer just theirs. Didn't top off fluids. Overall feeling was just shady. Then they said I needed new cabin air filter which they said last time I went there and they changed it then. It was only a few months ago and we never go down dusty roads or smoke. That is a tactic of many mechanics use to make you spend more money . Last time I came here I got 4 new tires and I made it home and there was black stuff all over my car. Had to go car wash and clean it it off myself ( they offered to clean it but I didn't want to deal with them) I gave them another chance after the first experience because of convenience but not again. A simple oil change can turn into 400 dollars worth of work. Go to Pensacola or across the Bay. read more

Salesman was great at first, then turned into a complete nightmare. Played too many games to completely waste time that we didn't have. Even messaged us making us think that they were going to agree to our deal just to say that the car was still there (it was 2 hours later and nobody else looked at it). HCouldn't answer a question with a definitive answer, and the answer would change. Wouldn't release inspection information about the car that we were purchasing claiming it was "dealer classified" when EVERY SINGE dealership in the world including other Tameron dealerships give that out upon request. Managers would give you paperwork saying that you were NOT receiving a warranty right after telling you that you would get a 3 month warranty saying that we had to sign it even though what it said wasn't true. Multiple times we had to remind them that we lived in Baldwin county because they kept bringing out of state paperwork, and made us sign paperwork stating that we would get our taxation fixed when we registered the vehicle out of state, and said that we had to sign it and it just worked that way even though we weren't out of state that the paperwork just says one thing but it isn't true. All in all, very shady dealership and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. We even called another salesman in the finance managers office that was holding a different car to let him know that we had gotten a vehicle and ended the conversation with us saying that we would be coming to him next car. read more

Be really careful if you decide to do business here. I sold my son's truck to them and was promised a check the next day or the day after. Was buying another vehicle and was uncomfortable leaving without a check in hand. No check next day, no check the second day so I called. No return phone call. So, I show up the 3rd day and they still can't give me a check, but they will give me the truck back. I've bought another car now borrowing money and paying interest because of these idiots. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP! !! They are the perfect example of why people hate shopping for cars. They changed their name but same crap service. I inquired about a specific vehicle twice and was told it was sold. A month later it was still online. I made arrangement to come and test drive the car. The morning I was suppose to show up they increased the price of the vehicle by $897 and told me I was going to have to pay an additional $750 to use outside financing. When I inquired about the price increase and said I had screen shots of the increase. I was agrily told to go shop elsewhere as the car had been sold. I have reported their behavior to the FTC and will continuing to report. I have also contacted the Alabama Attorney General for tied selling among other multiple violations of FTC rules. read more

beware of this place I took my Nissan Reno to their service department because I was having issues with it. I was told that it would be put on the machine and send all the problems that was wrong with it. When the car was ready they told me it would be $1281. I paid that my husband asked them is this gonna take care of the car and it will be running properly I was told by the technician yes, not even 10 minutes driving home. The car stops. It was still on. I called them to come and pick the car up. They suggested that I choose freedom towing because they deal with them all the time. I also was told that they will handle the towing since I just left them had my car and find out it was the transmission. I'm trying to figure out why the transmission one the issue the first time I refuse to let them fix it due to it being 6500 after I paid $1281 that they told me it would be working properly will never trust this dealer ever read more
