I called Krahn's around 11am on a Saturday looking for a new box spring for our bed. The woman who…read moreanswered the phone was very helpful. Because of their lake front location we thought it would be expensive. We were pleasantly surprised at their good prices and our ability to buy over the phone. More impressive, they were willing to deliver the same day! The delivery guys showed up within a few hours with masks and great attitudes. I highly recommend Krahn's and will be buying more furniture there in the future!

We needed a fridge ASAP. We had ordered one in November from someone else, and after 2 months, it…read morestill wasn't in. I canceled that order and started looking for something else. After 3 stores, we landed at Peoples in Weiser. Sally was awesome, and she helped us determine what was available right then, (which was anything on the floor) and when we could get it. We ended up buying the entire appliance suite from her, and the fridge was just delivered. The delivery guys, Daniel and Jose were super cool and went above and beyond to make this work. There was only 1 door that would accommodate the fridge, and it has some weak stairs going up to it. These guys worked for almost 2 hours on a solution that would work. They had to remove the door from my house, and they were quick to get it back on since it was about 30 degrees outside. They also tolerated my 3 barking dogs this whole time. They were very professional, polite and took great care of the refrigerator. I hope it is easier for them when they have to bring the other appliances! We will never go anywhere else. The selection was fantastic, the prices were great, and the employees couldn't have been better! Thanks, Sally, Jose, and Daniel.

We have purchased 4 large cost items from People's. 2 of the 4 were 5 star and involved…read moreappliances. The other 2 involved special order furniture and both times the delivery time was longer than expected or promised. On April 4th we ordered a bedroom set that we were told would take 8-12 weeks. On July 7th we were told it was on the truck enroute from Pennsylvania. On July 28 we were promised delivery no later than the 2nd of August as the truck was due on 7-31 or 8-1. Matt promised that it would be delivered Friday or Saturday depending on what day it arrived. The freight wasn't delivered to People's until Saturday morning. By the time delivery is finally made it will have been 18 weeks from purchase to delivery. After calming down I realized that the problem didn't lie with People's primarily. The reached out and explained the situation and satisfied me that they did their best but the delivery from manufacture to them was out of their control.

We went to McCall Mattress and met Heidi on a rainy Saturday afternoon. Heidi was warm and welcoming. She patiently shows us every mattress in the store and waited for us to lay on them and make various comments and to try some of them over-and over again. Heidi answered all of our questions thoroughly and has a wealth of knowledge about mattress construction, body dynamics and what work well for each individual. While we were in the store several other customers came in and looked around. Even though Heidi was the only person on staff that day, she cheerily greeted and helped everyone. We bought our mattress from Heidi and should was extremely helpful. We highly recommend Heidi and McCall Mattress if you need a mattress. Mary Catherine Koster

I found this shop from a post they had on Instagram. I'm always down for a shopping adventure at a…read morestore with vintage goods in it. So, my daughter and I made our way in to see what kind of neat treasures we can find. Walking in, it's quite overwhelming. It's a good sized store front but they have a lot crammed onto the sales floor. We made our way through through the store and they have some pretty pieces available. Tea sets, furniture, clothes. Surprisingly, I was quite taken back on some of the pricing her. I found an old birdcage and they wanted almost 200 bucks for it. That is some crazy business. Some salad bowl sets were 10 cause I couldn't imagine pricing anything above that. A tea set for 175 dollars. As full the store was with product, nothing really stuck out to me. To be honest, this place had a thrift store vibe with crazy pricing. Is everything vintage? No. It's a neat store if you're willing to maneuver your way through all the clutter. The pricing is out of this world and you can probably find similar things at the Idaho Youth Ranch for a quarter of the cost. It was neat that we made it in to check out but it just wasn't my cup of tea.
