Casey (and Jennifer) were…read moreawesome at answering all my questions before enrolling Daisy in puppy daycare (including sending me an application, schedule, and prices), and Casey has been especially awesome at both giving me updates (comfort!) during the day while Daisy is there and information on other services (e.g., training classes). It's super easy to make sure Daisy is on the list for daycare on the days I need her to be there (I've done this both by email and by phone). They have great COVID precautions in place, and I feel safe dropping off and picking up Daisy (you have to call beforehand, each time). The lovely folks at My Dog's Place make sure to give the pups leashed potty breaks throughout the day, which is nice. It's also nice that they divide up the dogs by size and play style, which is something that worries me at times when we go to the dog park and/or even other puppy play dates. Even though Daisy *thinks* she's a big dog (that corgi attitude...!) she is actually a tiny little thing, so I feel better knowing she is playing with pups who are her own size. :) I feel great because she's SO excited about going to daycare, and she comes back nice and tuckered out afterwards, which makes for nice quiet evenings! Not one skin tag was knicked. He was allowed to go potty and have a rest break. He was patient and kind. She provided treats (with my approval). He came home with tail wagging. I was impressed. Grooming this old dog required experience and skill. She was watchful for the skin tags. I cannot say enough good things about this establishment.

My oldest boy was a rescue who came to us extraordinarily scared and timid. It took me a good 6 mos to get him to trust me, and now he's my little shadow. He remains timid and very shy, and I fear a shock collar would make him revert back to where he was when we got him. My younger dog is also a rescue but he's just a little guy and when I felt the "shock" of the collar even at a very low number I knew I couldn't put one on him. Enter Belinda! Positive and explains dog psyche. Gives advice on adding a new command onto a learned one. She spent some time getting to know my boys and they loved her. I just wish she were in Arizona year round, as I lost several months training time with her due to a knee surgery.

I appreciate that they keep up to date with vaccines. The last few years it has become more difficult to get a reservation and work with them at all. Ultimately, we decided not to go back, the last time we called for a reservation they wanted us to do a whole new meet and greet. The owner is very nice but we won't be going back.

We previously went to another groomer and they did trim our pups grinch feet and them left her nails long...but Canine Clipper clipped her nails appropriately and trimmed up her grinch feet so she isn't sliding on every hard floor.
