As first-time homebuyers, Lindsay made the entire process easy. From the first email we received,…read moreLindsay was prompt, prepared, and organized. PREPARED: We had just moved from out of state and wanted to buy a home during COVID, Oregon fires, and with an infant. She provided us with educational information about the home buying process including timelines, Oregon real estate, and fantastic insights to the market in the communities we were looking to buy. Most of our interactions were via email or text which was perfect for us due to COVID. She always responded promptly to our questions and provided great advice about what and how to negotiate at various stages during the home buying process. ORGANIZED: Lindsay proactively sent us check in emails to let us know what was in progress, what's next in the process, and what (if anything) we needed to do. To reiterate how organized she was, after we closed she sent us a digital folder with all of the papers and other materials we signed/were associated with the property. It was so nice to have everything in one spot that we can easily and quickly reference. Buying during COVID: We felt safe as Lindsay and Clara both wore masks, were socially distant, and brought extra hand sanitizer. For each home we toured, we were provided with gloves and shoe coverings. She also used a digital signature platform to review and sign documents so we didn't have to do so in person. We do not have enough words to describe how easy and fantastic the home buying process was with Lindsay. Aside from the professional side of things, it's also very clear how committed Lindsay is to supporting the small businesses and charities in the area, which is the cherry on top! We received such thoughtful and local themed goodies that supports the community. We will definitely work with Lindsay again on our future real estate needs. TL;DR: work with Lindsay, you won't be disappointed!

Hilary & Darcie are a real estate dream team!…read more We were buying - our first home, too. So, as expected, we had all the questions. Many of which I assume are in the "there's no such thing as a dumb question, but..." category :). Hilary & Darcie graciously answered them all, quickly and with plenty of details. As our purchase took place during COVID-19, house tours looked a little different, but they helped us navigate that too. From ensuring we could get in and view a house quickly, to making us feel comfortable with proper PPE and social distancing practices. When we found *the* house, they were quick to draft up an offer and walk us through what everything meant (it's a long contract, but important to understand!). They helped us find and schedule inspections, get bids during negotiations, and coordinate repairs with the seller. And because they work seamlessly as a team, they were available 7-days a week and were able to jump right in no matter who we spoke with last. As a first-time buyer, it would have been really easy to get lost in all of this, but I was never worried that we were missing a step. Hilary & Darcie had our backs throughout the entire process, which was a huge relief! And even as we started moving in and looking at some small upgrades and customizations, they have continued to be a wonderful resource for connecting to local professionals across a wide variety of services. I highly recommend working with Hilary & Darcie - you'll be glad you did!

If you're looking for your new home, or looking to sell your home, you most certainly should contact Theresa deSousa at this location! Theresa is experienced, trustworthy, dependable, hardworking, all while making a potentially painful process fun with her upbeat attitude & fun spirit. We began looking for our home last summer, & we ran the gambit of emotions. This is fun & exciting..... this is getting old..... this is a pain in the ass....... this sucks......... ahhhhh, we found it, this is so fun & exciting........ this is so scary.......... through all of that, Theresa was the glue that held us together. As first time home buyers, we went in with our eyes open. We did the research, read the books, took the class.... we still didn't know jack! Theresa helped us find an awesome home inspector, set us up with a lender, & walked us through, holding our hands, every step of the process! She really is wonderful, & we could not have asked for anyone better. I mean, she really looks out for you..... even the couple times we got all excited about a home, she would gingerly point out some potential problems & future cost/repairs that we wouldn't want to deal with. Never pushy, never. After we had everything signed, sealed, & delivered, there was an amazing "Welcome Home Basket" waiting for us the first time we stepped into our home. On top of that, she personally delivered a Christmas Wreath to us just after Thanksgiving to help celebrate our first Christmas in our home. Look her up, you will be so happy you did!

Terri Robertson is the best!…read more We found Terri by total accident, we wanted to tour a house her co-worker was selling, and she was available on short notice to help us out (since we weren't seriously looking and didn't have a realtor of our own yet). We liked her so much at that first walk-through, we decided to ask her to work with us to find our new home. The buying process was super easy for us, Terri made a few good suggestions of properties to consider, but mostly she was always available to help us tour properties, and is VERY knowledgeable about both historic homes and the Portland real estate market. She notices details and asks good questions, she's got an eye on what original fixtures and features of a house are a benefit, and which might give you a headache in the future. When it came time to make an offer, her market analysis had the price of the house EXACTLY what the appraisal came in at. She also wrote the contract with several little advantages for us (yay!), took care of getting bids for a sewer scope and a credit for the fix, and got a radon abatement situation handled. Overall, we were tremendously happy with the process, and really liked her as a person -- you spend a lot of time talking with your agent! It's important to like them! SO! When it came time to sell our old house, a year later, we contacted her again. Selling WAY more work, of course, but she helped every step of the way, from dealing with our tenants, to finding contractors for necessary repairs, to fun styling details! I re-did all of the lighting myself, and Terri helped to pick all of the new fixtures out. She was also available to do two very detailed walk-throughs to help get our "to do" list in order and make sure there was nothing an inspector would take issue with. In the end, our inspection was a breeze! (Well, except for another dang sewer scope problem). Given how much MORE time we spent with her in the selling process, I cannot give her high enough praise. Really, she knows this market well, understands what you MUST do to sell, what has good ROI, and what stuff can probably be skipped. In the end, we got the exact price we were hoping for (which was more than her co-workers thought we could do! Hah!). If you're looking to BUY or SELL, definitely work with Terri!
