Empanadas, tamales, and fried plantains stand out in particular. People also favored guava juice and unique drinks such as tamarillo and maracuya juices. Portions are large; platters can be shared. The place is warm, well-organized, and inviting, which makes me feel at home. The ambiance is relaxed and inviting, providing a great dining experience. I was thrown off by what seemed to be limited options, and although not necessary, a lot of Colombian restaurants in LA typically serve meals with rice and avocado, which wasn't what I saw here. It might've been a different experience if we had gone inside. I know they have a location inside the food hall in Boise, so if we are ever back in Idaho, we will give it a second shot.

All in all so glad we found this place and this is one place we will continue to go to. I wish they were open Sundays, but that's just me being selfish :p. AMAZING food and drinks!

Apparently they didn't have chips in their truck and had to go find them. That should have been my no thank you but I figured ohh let's give them a try. Once we got to our house and saw the $5 chips I was honestly a bit upset they were store bought nacho chips. Tacos are $2.50 I don't understand why chips are $5 and they aren't even like your traditional Mexican chips or something along those lines. Prices are always reasonable, I'm fluent in Spanish and have only ever ordered in Spanish, I know for sure the staff does have at-least someone with good English working. I've been to so many different locations and this one happens to be both close to my work/home. I've treated myself to here very often and will continue to in the future.
